I was referred here from my dentist to see a specialist and was very pleased with the work I had done here. The office is clean, the staff is friendly and scheduling appointments was a breeze. I have to say that the endodontist who treated me is a magician with a needle because out of the array of dental visits I've had throughout my life, it was by far the most painless when it came to the numbing. Not only was the work great but the atmosphere in the office was as well. They gave me headphones and glasses to wear while a movie of my choosing played on a screen on the ceiling! A rubber dam was placed over my tooth so work could be performed without any debris falling into my mouth. The experience overall was amazing. Went in to get treatment for an infected old root canal, but Dr. Anderson did a lot of sleuthing and patiently studied the xrays and gave me options for what he thinks was a cracked tooth. 1. I could proceed with the procedure and they could go in and clean everything and find a cracked tooth, which they wouldn't be able to fix and then I would be out of alot of money on a wasted procedure or I could wait and see. He gave me another option and that was to do his super duper state of the art 3-D xray machine, he knew I am on a budget but he did right by me. So we did the 3-D and it confirmed what he thought, it's cracked tooth. So he could have soaked me for the money for the procedure, but he has integrity, pride in what he does and cares about his patients. If i ever have the chance to refer someone to him, I totally will. I only do reviews for business that really deserve them or if they are really bad, Precision Endodontics is one of the best ones. Dr. Shawn Anderson is the best! I had a root canal 2 years ago by another dentist and it was not done correctly. I visited Dr. Anderson for an emergency consultation. Dr. Anderson performed an exhaustive assessment to determine the best way to proceed with treatment. We decided the tooth needed to be retreated immediately to relive pain and additional damage to the tooth. I didn't want to lose the tooth so immediate action was needed. Dr. Anderson came in on his day off and performed the retreat of the root canal. It was a long procedure as Dr. Anderson is a perfectionist. The pain is gone! I recently 11/21/24 had my first root canal with Dr. Shawn Anderson, and the experience was amazing! Dr. Anderson was incredibly patient and kind, which made a stressful situation much easier. I can't recommend his skills and kindness enough. However, the billing process has been disappointing. I was overcharged by about $300, and while my insurance paid their share just two days after the procedure, I still have not received my refund over a month later. I have called the office a few times, but the issue remains unresolved. I was told a refund would be sent within 10-15 days but that obviously is not correct since I am still waiting. While the dental care was excellent, the billing experience has been frustrating and needs improvement. What might be a better process is to bill the insurance first and after they pay, let the patient know what they owe. It astounds me that it is 12/24/24 and still no refund. read more

I had the absolute BEST experience here. They were patient with my anxiety and really put my mind at ease. It was painless and almost a good time (so weird to describe a root canal as a good time I KNOW). There is not a bigger dentist chicken on the planet than myself. I hyperventilate just getting in the chair. I do have PTSD from a dentist but I'm so proud of myself that Dr. Anderson was able to tame me down a few notches. He was absolutely the best. This is the fourth root canal I have had done by Dr Anderson and his team at Precision Endodontic, and it was a redo of a previous one done by another dentist several years ago. The prior attempt left a small piece of file in the root which resulted in an abscess below the root. Dr Anderson worked past the obstruction and although it was a three visit process, he was ultimately successful clearing the infection and sealing the root. Result; no more pain and complete satisfaction on my part. I never worry about going to Precision Endodontics and the entire staff are friendly, professional, and responsive. Was referred to Dr. Anderson for a root canal retreatment less than a year after the original procedure, which my insurance wouldn't cover until after 2 years. Dr. Anderson was friendly, attentive, patient, honest, knowledgeable, and was not pushy at all. While I only scheduled a consultation since I wasn't sure of all my options prior to going, there was a procedure cancellation that opened a window in Dr. Anderson's schedule abd I opted to get the procedure same day. His work was gentle, precise, and efficient, and I got to watch the whole procedure on a ceiling mounted tv. Absolutely recommend for anyone unfortunately in need of a true expert who isn't there to sell you on anything or nickel and dime you. Excellent care in the back of the office. Dr Anderson is great! I went and saw him a couple of months ago and he didn't pressure me into getting treatment until absolutely necessary. When my tooth did start hurting I was able to get in and get seen pretty quick. Dr. Anderson provides confidence in his work, and relays the treatment plan with details. The actual root canal was good, he is quick with treatment. You can either watch the procedure on the wall or a movie. I did feel claustrophobic with the things he placed in my mouth for comfort, but Dr. Anderson was able to remove the jaw rester and it was much better. It was interesting watching the procedure. Dr. Anderson is great. The front of the house though, didn't seem enthusiastic about their job at all, just going through the motions, and not really the friendliest, but luckily the back of the house made up for the comfort of going in for a procedure. read more

Absolutely phenomenal experience here. Was referred to this specialist by Prestige Dental Group, and had to get a root canal done. Long story short, it was amazing. I was so comfortable throughout the process that I almost fell asleep! Thank you so much for making an ordinarily pain in the a** procedure into something so worry free. The woman who performed the root canal gets 5*'s across the board. If there was even one thing I had to complain about, it would be the air blow procedure to identify the pained / exposed nerve areas, did not think it would hurt that much, even though I was warned beforehand. I WANT EVERYONE TO HEAR THIS LOUD AND CLEAR ABOUT WHAT happened with my root canal during COVID and how it is affected my health since AND how I went back to them over and over explaining that I was in pain but instead of looking into the root canal again they told me I needed the tooth directly above it to have a root canal because I had "referred pain" and they would do it at NO CHARGE! Over the next few months after my root canal, I complained of pain. I went back to the dentist who put on the crown, they said I needed to go back to Precision and vice versa. I paid for them to check my tooth yet again. They both kept telling me nothing was wrong and I question why, is it because they both would have been out of money? Within months of this back and forth and going through the COVID shut down, I wound up having issues with swelling of my tounge and feeling quite ill. I had to have bloodwork, see multiple drs, and even wound up having to have a lip biopsy showing inflammation in my mouth. Still after all of this, I kept going back to the dentist and P.E. with no answers as to why my tooth hurt. Eventually I went to a brand new dentist who said the root canal was not completed and due to pulp being left in the canal it created an infection. The new dentist said to go back to PE and speak to Dr. Anderson. Dr. Anderson said I needed another root canal on the tooth and I had to pay for another root canal and crown that they did nothing wrong. Looking at the prior xray, it showed pulp still in the tooth, I explained this to Dr. Anderson and he said there was nothing they did wrong and I waited too long since the tooth had been done. Even though I kept going to them immediately over and over again and to the prior dentist complaining of issues (which that dentist even changed the crown thinking it was the crown meanwhile it was the root canal). I have recently had to replace the crown and have the root canal done again, I asked for Dr. Anderson to pay for this and they refused. I even filed in small claims court and the court date was on 01/06/25 but could not go due to my son with Autism (whom I am his caregiver) having the flu and myself being sick with a fever, so I feel everyone needs to know that even if a place tell you everything is OK, get 3 to 5 opinions elsewhere. Little did I know that was what was making me sick! So please do your research! Oh and now that I did not make the court date, his office just now sent me a bill from the visit where Dr. Anderson said he would not re-do my root canal, stating they have reached out to me over and over again for $125! Not once did they ask me, send an letter or call me for this money! So to take advantage of a single mother, who takes care of a disabled child, who has been sick for over 3 years and ask for MORE money from her family is absolutely sad. I plan to ask the court for another date or I will file this with whomever I can to atleast get the cost of the new root canal, which I dont know why you didnt just fix since you were willing to do a FREE root canal on a tooth that didnt even need it! read more
