Everyone I encountered was really nice and professional. I had to have an urgent extraction for my wisdom teeth, no insurance so I was paying out of pocket. They made that process easy and offered my options available. The anesthesiologist and Dr were very professional and their assistants(I think that's who they were sorry I don't know your title!) and made me feel comfortable through the visit and procedure. The providers are very professional, caring and helpful. Very knowledgeable. I think it's important to take peoples reviews with a grain of salt, and know your experience may not be what someone else has- which is okay. I saw some reviews and almost had a doubt, but I know it's very easy to adopt a view from someone else so I wanted to see for myself and I'm glad I did. Thanks Anthem dental. I went in for the delivery of crown #19, but crown #20 came off during the visit. Only at the end did the dentist inform me that my tooth lacks sufficient structure and that the crown is likely to fall off again. This directly contradicts what the first dentist told me, that the crown would last for years. I am also concerned that the dentist shaved my tooth more than necessary, especially since it had already been reduced by a previous clinic. Now I am left needing to find a prosthodontist on my own to correct the issue. Instead of providing a direct referral, the office simply gave me my insurance phone number, which was not helpful. Additionally, I requested my dental records in December 2025 and completed all required authorization forms, yet I did not receive them until March 2026--and only after I threatened to report the office to the dental board. I feel abandoned as a patient and am currently in pain, with no clear guidance or support for resolving this situation. read more

I had an appointment today at 4 o'clock and they seem to have a full waiting room full of people waiting for their treatments. I asked the staff if I need to be out by 5 o'clock to pick up my child from daycare and they told me it was gonna be about 20 minutes to wait for an additional one hour for a deep cleaning for my teeth which I do not have time. Had I known that I would've scheduled for a lot earlier which is just frustrating because everybody's on a time limit. They seem to have a lot of new Dental students or people that work extremely slow and she's just frustrating when they cannot communicate to us how long the wait is going to be or if they're behind because apparently there are two more people ahead of me, which I knew if I would've been at least another hour and a half. It's just unacceptable at this point. It's common sense to let people know that you're running behind or that your staff is incapable of taking you in right at 4 o'clock. I don't know why they need a 20 to 30 minute buffer to make someone wait. Common sense ain't so common I guess I was seen their seven years for a crown and it has held up pretty well, but I will be taking myself to somewhere else that takes my insurance in the meantime. . I wish Dr Abraham would evaluate his timing and Staff and have something that's a little bit more better Flow. I decided to leave Anthem Dental in Temecula after comparing their prices with another local dentist. On previous visits, I paid over $400 for a filling. I recently went to Meadows Dental Group and was quoted only $100 for the same type of filling. That's a 75% price difference. In my experience, Anthem Dental and Dr. Henry Abraham charged significantly more than another reputable dental office for the same treatment. I wish I had gotten a second opinion sooner. I went to Anthem Dental for my first cleaning about six months ago, and I was surprised by how quick it was. At the time, I assumed it was because I still had my Invisalign attachments on, so I didn't think too much of it. I recently went back for my second cleaning after completing Invisalign, and once again, the cleaning was only about 10 minutes. In all my years of going to the dentist, I have never had a cleaning that was only 10 minutes. It actually took longer to complete the X-rays than it did to clean my teeth. The hygienist also didn't floss my teeth after polishing, which I found disappointing. Unfortunately, the lack of thoroughness and quality is becoming a pattern that I've noticed at this office. After my X-rays, the dentist told me that I needed two crowns. He didn't even exam my teeth, only looked at the x-rays. I was skeptical and decided to get a second opinion from my previous dental office, where I had my Invisalign treatment done. They confirmed that I do not need new crowns. This experience has really affected my trust in Anthem Dental. I would rather pay out of pocket to continue seeing my previous dental office, even though they no longer accept my insurance, than return to Anthem Dental. Update- Replaced crown never fully healed properly after almost a year and now I can't chew hard things on that tooth. I need to schedule and see if the crown was poorly put on wrong. Watch out for this place. I took my daughter here after we moved, and it's been a very disappointing experience. First of all, the waiting room was overcrowded--no place to sit, and some people were even standing outside. Every visit has been extremely costly. They always seemed to "find" something new, and one time they sent my daughter out for a consultation that cost us $300 just to be told nothing was wrong. At the most recent visit, we were told treatment would cost around $1,500. I decided to get a second opinion, and that doctor said he couldn't even see what they were referring to on the X-rays--he believed my daughter didn't need any of the treatments listed on their paperwork. Billing Fruad and Harassment I've had a terrible experience with Anthem Dental. For over a year, they've failed to properly bill my insurance, and now they're refusing to see me--claiming the insurance hasn't paid. When I contacted my insurance, they confirmed that no invoice was ever submitted by Anthem Dental. To make things worse, the front desk staff, especially someone named Josophia, was extremely rude and unprofessional. She harassed me during the conversation and told me I wouldn't be seen for at least three weeks unless I paid out of pocket--despite having valid insurance. I hate when dentists feel like they are just running a business to get the most money out of you. They were quick to ask me for a lot of money when i was in a sensitive state. I went in to have my teeth cleaned. I had been in twice already bethis year and had x-rays at the beginning of the year. I had my teeth cleaned in January (with x-rays) even though I had x-rays 6 months prior, they insisted my new insurance company required it. Cleaning was fine. My second cleaning was in May or June. I was in and out in 20 minutes and did not feel like the hygienist did anything. Shortest cleaning I have ever had. Now i go back in October and they say they need to do x-rays. I said no thanks as I already had x-rays in January and I was not having any issues so no need to expose myself to unnecessary x-rays. I had to decline the x-rays twice and then was told they could not do the cleaning without doing x-rays. Sounds like a money making business. Very dissatisfied. Also, they make you pay before they provide any service. The staff here are incredibly helpful, the admin, X-ray technician, the dentist, and hygienist were warm friendly and made me feel welcome! They even complimented my style & eyes. At first they were really kind but I went there for cleaning and to get teeth removed. As he numbed me he asked if I could feel anything. On one side I was completely numb but on the other side I could still feel and I told them I could. But he continued to rip out my tooth. I understand they were in a rush but never rush tooth care and removal. They are currently understaffed and rushing. Some of the employees didn't even know how to work the equipment. read more

I have visited twice now, the first time I left feeling like I did not want to return, but wanted to give the dentist office the benefit of the doubt. Boy was I wrong, my gut instinct was correct. After waiting 45 minutes past my appointment time, the dentist briefly looked at my son and said she was not able to treat him due to his autism. He was seated in the chair stimming (making quiet vocalizations with hand flapping) but was following instructions to open his mouth and turn his head in the direction the doctor requested and was not engaging in inappropriate behavior (other than the stimming). She noted he had some plaque and said (in front of my child) that he needed to be sedated to receive treatment due to the autism. We have moved a few times (military family) and have always had wonderful experiences with our dentists. My son has had 6 month check ups his entire life (he is 13 now) and has zero cavities. We have never had to sedate him for any dental or medical procedure. Furthermore, no dentist or doctor has ever suggested that we needed to do so for him to receive care of any kind. I was absolutely flabbergasted that the dentist did not even try to treat my son. She (and her hygienist) were obviously uncomfortable with the outward signs of autism (the stimming) and dismissed us as quickly as they could. No attempt was made to begin the usual dental check up/cleaning. I did tell the dentist office when I made the appointment that he had autism and I would need to remain with him throughout the appointment. I have always done this with previous providers and all have been understanding and emphasized that it would not be a problem. As I mentioned earlier in my post, this was my second visit. My first visit left me feeling like I was not listened to, like the dentist was trying to sell me or recommend things that were unnecessary. They also pushed me hard to write a review since the dentist needed more reviews (their words). I said I would write one when I got home as I felt so uncomfortable with the pressure and I was not happy with my experience during my first visit. My complaints were many (waiting almost an hour past my appointment time, staff being unorganized/rude, recommending services that I have been told by multiple other dentists were not needed). I would also like to say that our family has had wonderful dentists over the years. Shoutout to Dr. Watanabe in Pearl Harbor, Dr. Gibbons in Washington, Dr. Chellappa. I must of called at least 10 times to get my refund back and corrected and they still couldn't get it right. I did get $508 dollars refunded however they still owed me $150 dollars. I visited Anthem Dental last year in 2023 for the first time. I had to get some cavities filled and I was very nervous about the numbing process and politely asking for them not to show me the needle. I was a bit giggly because of my nerves and tried my best to relax. The woman that was preforming my fills straight up put the needle up to my face with no warning and said "Stop! Be serious or you'll pass out!". She was very rude and very aggressive. After the procedure she gave me only a little explanation on what I should be expecting after my fills. She told me if my teeth were still sensitive I would need to get a root canal! I also asked the doctors about possibly getting some tooth bonding on two small teeth I have in the front. They straight up tried to upsell me on getting veneers. I explained that I would much rather do bonding than veneers because of the price and because of the simplicity of the procedure. Both doctors seemed to get upset and gave me an estimated price for veneers and then gave me one for bonding. I still have two other fills I need to get done but I refuse to go back to this place. I had never been to a dentist before and I was honestly excited to get some work done on my teeth and perfect my smile. But the doctors there were so judgmental and were shocked that I had never been to a dentist before. They had asked me why and when I explained to them why I had never been to a dentist they said "oh that's not good!". I felt so judged. Next step is to find a new much nicer dentist. read more

I was scheduled for an appointment to receive an exam, cleaning, and three (3) composite fillings. I arrived early to sign any necessary paperwork and was ready for my appointment. I received the exam and cleaning, but was informed they could not perform composite fillings due to short staffing. This left me under the strong impression that the staff knew I wouldn't receive the full care. Instead of canceling the appointment, they chose to participate in a "money grab" by charging for the exam, x-rays, and cleaning. I drove 1.5 hours for this appointment and cannot be reimbursed for the time and inconvenience. I will NOT be referring anyone to this establishment in the present or future. read more

I am finding that the dentist's HMO on Delta Dental lack sound business practices when dealing with the front office to estimates and billing. I had nothing but issues with the front office and the office manager whom in my estimation attempted to bill me without using my insurance benefits. Serious lack of communication. The back office dental technicians were great. I do not recommend the office whatsoever to anyone. As far as Delta HMO, this is my third attempt at a finding a reputable office who is trustworthy and competent. I am so upset. I went to Dr. Abraham at Anthem Dental today to pick up my upper partial that he made for me due to Dr. Kayley's mess up. At first, I really like the office. The staff was so nice. I went to the one in Menifee. Very clean and it made me feel hopeful. Dr Abraham came in and I explained why I needed the new stay plate. He said he would do a try in first, then teeth try in and then the final. He wasn't nice at all. He was abrupt, rude and seemed like he didn't want to be there. I made sure on my first visit with Dr. Abraham to ask him to please make sure on the lab slip that they used metal clasps and to put them high up in the gum line. I went back for the teeth try in and it looked fine. The try in is just meant for bite and fit. The teeth used in the try in are usually not the same as the ones for the final product just in case the shade is wrong and need to be changed. Dr. Abraham is fully aware that the teeth at the try in or not necessarily the permanent teeth used. He sent it back to the lab. I went in today to pick it up and have any adjustments made. The assistant was very nice to me and made me feel comfortable. He had me put it in and did a few adjustments and it still felt tight on the left side. He said wear it for 10 minutes and then come back and he will fix it. I went to the store and went to the bathroom, and I was looking at it in the mirror when I noticed that the teeth were not the same shade as my teeth. It was very noticeable. I went back and told the assistant that there were 3 things that didn't feel right. 1. The left upper tooth felt tight, and it was rubbing against one of my other teeth. It hurt. 2. The back of the upper against my palate and jaw was rubbing and it hurt. 3. The teeth were the wrong color. It really stood out against my other teeth. The assistant looked at it and said yes, I can see that the shade is too dark to match your own teeth. He then went and got the Vita shade samples and we put them next to my teeth and the new partial and he could see a difference. He told me he was going to get Dr. Abraham and have him come in. I waited around 15 minutes and Dr. Abraham came in and he was mad. He said "Why are you saying this, you ok'd it at the try in? And I said it's not the same shade and you can see it across the room. He told me that I ok'd it at the try in and I told him at the try in they looked fine since they are not necessarily the permanent teeth. The teeth are not permanent at the try in just in case they are the wrong shade or shape. In fact, one of them fell out on the floor at the try in. He said he refused to send it back to the lab and that he did everything I asked for which I am not upset about. I worked at this lab and they would have remade it correctly and not charged the Dr for it. I said to him "so I am just supposed to wear this like it is, because it hurts, and the teeth are darker than my teeth?" He grabbed the bag the partial was in and told the office girl (I think her name is Cassandra) to throw it away and then told me he would not bill Medi Cal and I can go to some other dentist. I started to cry. I don't have any stay plate to wear! I only have 4 teeth on top, my 2 front teeth and the teeth next to them are missing and then 2 more teeth and all the rest are missing. I have had 30 surgeries and with each one, I have lost a tooth. He stormed out and Cassandra felt so bad, she kept asking if there was anything she could do. I just sat there sobbing. The exam rooms are not closed off, they are more like cubicles so the patients in the next one can hear everything. I told Cassandra that I can't figure out why he doesn't like me. I only met him 3 times and he was so rude and nasty to me. She got up and left and came back with the Dr. and he was so nasty to me. He said why do you say I hate you. That wasn't what I said. I just asked the girl why he doesn't like me. He doesn't know me. He was so unprofessional and everyone in the office could hear me crying and him humiliating me. He took the bag away again and I said I need that. I don't have anything on top to eat with or talk with. I have never been treated like that before in my life. I couldn't stop sobbing. He left again came back with the assistant who was adjusting the partial and said wait until she makes up her mind. That poor assistant sat down and apologized to me and said he would just wait till I stopped crying. I cried for another 5 minutes and then he tried to adjust it so it didn't hurt. I was so humiliated that I said it's fine, took the partial and left. I went to my car and sat there for another 20 minutes crying. I couldn't even drive home I was so upset. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a Dr. He was horrible, mean, rude and made me cry. NO ONE should ever be treated that way by anyone. Shame on him. read more

I actually went to Dr. Abraham years ago at their old office on Temecula Parkway, but it was not a great experience. Years later...nothing has changed. I got a new job, and with it, I got new insurance with Dr. Abraham assigned as my dentist. Let me start off with when I went to my appointment. I honestly was exposed to 6 different people in the hour I was there...we are in a middle of a pandemic. Aren't we supposed to be limiting exposure?! I first met with the receptionist who gave me paperwork and walked me back to my room (1), then the person who took x-rays of my teeth (2), then a dental hygienist who performed the teeth cleaning (3), then Dr. Abraham (4), then another dental hygienist who finished the polishing (5), and finally another receptionist who walked me out (6). It was an overload of people, and what was weird is that majority of them never introduced themselves. Some were nice (which is why the 2 stars), but who are you and what are you doing to my teeth?! Being a new patient, you would think they'd be personable and explain their role and why they are there. Even Dr. Abraham didn't say anything. I had to ask, "Are you Dr. Abraham?" No joke, lol. And exactly like the first time I went, he just peeked in my mouth for a minute and recommended all of these different treatments. Then he walked out without saying bye or anything. Nice meeting you too?! When I was leaving, the receptionist said she would give me a call to talk about estimates on all of the treatments that Dr. Abraham recommended. Almost a month later...still no call. But it's okay. I don't want them to call me because I am waiting for the day re-enrollment begins, and I change my insurance so I never have to deal with Dr. Abraham and Anthem Dental again. read more
