I loved the lake, the water was beautiful and even though its only April, the day was warm and people we boating, fishing and walking around. Definitely had the summer vibe going. The parking is tough because its roadside, so very limited. We made our way down the stairs to the restaurant which is on the lake. We entered and waited to be seated. There was one person waiting ahead of us. There were 2 servers and a bartender (who I think was the manager as well but idk for sure). We stood there for a good 20 minutes until someone else even ACKNOWLEDGED our presence. We were discussing whether or not to stay when the server finally spoke to us. There were several tables empty, but dirty. They clearly needed a busser to help turn the tables over faster and maintain the cleanliness of the dining room. The server took our drink order and after about 20 more minutes, took our food order. I ordered the ribeye medium. We got our food at 755pm. One hour 15 minutes after we walked through the door. First of all, my steak was super fatty. More like the prime rib they were selling, but maybe put a piece on the grill and called it a ribeye. Secondly, it was raw. Not just pink, but raw. Disgusting. The potato that came with it had probably been sitting in a warming drawer for hours because it was all brown and gross. There was oily butter all over the plate. I chose green beans over salad and they served a small amount that were soggy and really greasy. The "dinner roll" was literally hard as a rock. The server became very interested in clearing the dirty tables and didn't check back with us until we were ready to go. At this point, I decided I wasn't eating the steak and just wanted a box. When she finally checked on us, she asked if I wanted my steak put back on the grill. No ma'am, its after 8. I just want to leave! She did deduct $6 from my bill because the dinner was so bad. Now I have had bad dinners from restaurants before, but this place charged me $33 (-$6) for this "meal". I expected a higher level of service, a cleaner restaurant and better food for the price they charged.

It is close quarters and you must walk carefully so as not to run into items, etc., this place is not for someone who has trouble getting around as there are tight aisle ways and potential breakables everywhere you turn. We took our time looking through the items, however, the YS was not as interested as I was. I didn't find anything I couldn't live with out on this day but I would stop back by again. The price points are high. Used Coach bags vary from $90 to $200, etc. Most shoes in the place were marked $70 and the YS found some Hawaiian shirts priced at $60. A little pricey but I think this place is geared for people that are not afraid to part with a buck or two. Stop in and take a peek, it's an interesting place.

Offut Lake Resort is a fantastic place to spend a few nights. This is a friendly, clean, and…read morewell-ran resort with a true local family feel to it. First of all, the lady at the general store (main office) is incredibly friendly and warm. We stayed in the Angler's Den cabin and called ahead a few times with questions. She answered all of them and was very kind and helpful. The cabin came stocked with pots, plans, dishes, silverware, wine opener/bottler opener and really pretty much everything you would need. The cabin was actually quite large and had a true living room, kitchen (with large refrigerator), bathroom, and separate bedroom. There were multiple TV's within the cabin as well. Plus a large comfortable recliner chair! The cabin also had an air conditioning unit, which was much needed during the month of July. Not all cabins have AC, but most do. Offut Lake Resort is also in a densely wooded area with plenty of tall trees, so the shade throughout the resort keeps it much cooler. Even though the temps were in the high 80's when we were there, it was surprisingly shaded and comfortable throughout. The actual resort is nestled within a few neighborhoods near the lake. It is a quiet area and everyone seemed friendly. It was very safe and we were able to take our one year old son on a few long walks throughout the bordering neighborhoods. The resort has a playground with swings, a basketball court, and a larger grass area for other recreational activities. The general store/main office sells items you might need (or have forgot), and also sells beverages such as soda/juice/beer. The Lady of the Lake Restaurant is fantastic and is truly one of the best things about this small resort. It is incredibly convenient to be able to order takeout food for lunch or dinner from the restaurant and bring it back to your cabin. The restaurant is a short 3-5 minute walk from the camp sites and cabins. All of the food we had there was delicious and exceeded our expectations. The food was higher quality and tastier than what you might find at most bar & grills. Eating at the restaurant is also a nice option, and there is a bar there as well. It is a busy restaurant and seems to be a popular place with the locals. The fish & chips were delicious and something we would recommend! They also had a band play at the restaurant on Friday night. The lake is very scenic and tranquil. It is a shallow lake making it fairly warm and the water seemed clean. There is a small grass beach front area with rock wall that leads down to the lake. There are steps to walk down to get to the lake. We would recommend bringing water socks (or some type of water shoes) because the rocks at the bottom of the lake are a little harder to stand on. We brought sand toys, but then when we got there we realized there was no sand or beach area. Not a big deal at all, but just something to be aware of. It is a great lake to bring floaties to and float around. Next time I go back, I'll bring floaties with an anchor to anchor out in the middle of the lake. You can also fish off the dock or rent boats for the day. This is an underrated lake resort for people in Western Washington! I have lived in the Seattle area my whole life and I've never heard anyone talk about this place! The prices are very reasonable, it is a short trek from the Seattle area, and it feels like a true lake getaway. We stayed for two nights, but it would be easy to spend three or four nights there, especially if you rent boats and spent the day out on the lake. The Lady of the Lake restaurant is a great place to end the day and have drinks/dinner. This is a fun family resort, but would also be a fun option for couples or groups of friends. We stayed there in July during a nice streak of sunshine, but this could be a fun place to go in the Spring or Fall as well.

The lady that waited on me is very nice and help me put my arm band on. I went down to the dock. The dock is in very good shape with a new crafts meaning boats. I've never been to the restaurant, but it looked very sharp and very clean. I might try that soon if you wanna place to go and have some dock fishing and it's very quiet This is the place to go.

Also got the potstickers, which I swear are ling ling ones from Costco that they likely just popped into the air fryer. Good, yes, but that was like $11! bruh service was good, too. I am surprised that there was not commotion at this spot, especially because there is karaoke. I feel as though the people working here are better off at dine-in or take-out restaurants because I just did not get the bartender vibes. I trust that they make the drinks well here, even though I did not order any, but maybe good emphasis on their $10 walkout fee would have been nice. that and making it quick with giving the bill because it took them hours. to be fair, we could have asked, but I could see those who are under the influence to walk out and end up paying a fee that they were not aware about at all. came here during a time that nears Christmas, so pretty cute with the Christmas lights and decorations. Very cozy feel with reds and greens on the walls, doors, etc. but, not many people performing for karaoke :(

My main course was king salmon and it was perfect. I ordered a lemonade and was disappointed that the tall skinny glass it was served in was full to the top with ice, so there was very little left to drink. Parking is interesting i guess Sunday mornings it is free at all other times it is metered and you walk up a 2 story ramp. There is a Parking lot that does not belong to the bar. The waiter said you could park there (Sunday morning) but I didnt trust it.
