I was surprised when the driver, Chad Goodman, called at 7:15 am to tell me he was waiting for the yard to open at 7:30 and he would be by shortly after. I had a tricky location to dump because it was right next to a long leaf pine that was very close. Chad maneuvered the truck to dump the load right where I wanted it--I would have been in big trouble with my wife if that tree was injured. Thanks for keeping me out of trouble!

She looks like a younger, less cynical version of Gemma from Sons of Anarchy. Angela is always really helpful, unlike the online experience, which is never helpful at all. By helpful, I mean she scrutinizes my water bill and says "Geez, that looks high. Let's send someone out there right away to look at your meter. Let's get to the bottom of this." That's nice. Nobody from Duke Power ever took extraordinary measures to save me money. Woodfin water gets 3 stars on account of Angela making my life painless every time I run into her. If it were based on their online billing UX, they'd scarcely rate 1 star.

I had a nightmare experience with Willy's Moving and Trucking, and On D Move came to my rescue. We are first time Home OWNERS now, no longer looking, thanks to Mitch. We found the perfect piece of Asheville to make ours. Mitch took us under his wing and made this stressful process so much better than it could have been. He answered all the questions we could possibly have and went above and beyond with that. He had us in mind, he kept us afoot with new listings daily and even some that hadn't yet hit the market. He answered our texts and calls quickly at our very different hours. Every time we saw a potential house we got to walk through the house the very next morning. If he noticed something off about a property, he let us know. If he saw us discouraged, he assured we would find it. He said we had time on our side. He knew exactly what we wanted and he knew what would disappoint us. He was personable and down to earth. We are restaurant people and can be a little more colorful in our language and he didn't skip a beat when communicating. I got upset once and sent a not-so-nice email to a realtor that I felt had wronged us, maybe not intentionally, but it hurt. She then forwarded the email to him and responded condescendingly. I was embarrased. Mitch called me and we laughed a little and he made me feel better. When alot of money and your future is on the line, you do tend to get a little more emotional. He understood that. He knew we found our house when we did. He gave us step by step information on what to expect with the process, what we will encounter financially and even told us jokingly we might pull our hair out once it really got into the thick of the financial stuff. MAN WAS IT STRESSFUL. I couldn't tell you how happy we were to have Mitch. He helped me keep a level head and got us set up with his truly wonderful team of people. We got hooked up with Leanna Lewis from Atlantic Bay and a super great legal team at Asheville Law offices. We kept at it. We put in several offers, it fell through. Then days later I get a happy Mitch on the phone, my house was yet again about to hit the market. Anyone not familiar with real estate law and the craziness that goes along with it would be lucky to have him. Anyone with an idea of what to expect would also be lucky. He made every step of the process a little better. Thank you Mitch! We are happily in our home, now almost a month. Thank you thank you thank you.

We reached out to the office on very short notice, explaining that we needed to see more than a dozen homes that same weekend. Looking Glass immediately connected us with one of their agents, Amanda Jonnala, who proved to be exceptional from start to finish. From the first phone call, it was clear that Looking Glass Realty is committed to customer service. Amanda met us that Saturday and spent the entire day showing us homes, returning again on Sunday to help us find the perfect fit. She arrived fully prepared with organized packets for each property--MLS sheets, photos, disclosures, everything we needed. This level of preparation and attention to detail speaks volumes about the standards Looking Glass sets for its agents. Throughout the entire process--touring homes, making an offer, navigating inspections, coordinating contractor estimates, and preparing a counteroffer--we felt supported, informed, and taken care of. Everything moved efficiently and smoothly, and the communication from the agency was excellent. Looking Glass Realty clearly values hard work, professionalism, and client-centered service. Our experience with the company exceeded every expectation, and we would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a home in the area.
