We were fortunate that none of the massive oaks and poplars surrounding our house landed on the house, but it left us with a high level of anxiety... Would they fall during the next storm? I met Adam at the park with his dog and kids, and happened to notice the tree company on his shirt. That same day he came to our house and gave us a good overview of the trees that posed risk to our property and which ones he wasn't concerned about. Adam was extremely knowledgable about types of trees, their strength and overall tree health. He gave us a quote that was very reasonable and told us the time frame to get the work done. Everything was outlines in a PDF document, including pictures with the trees marked. All in all, everything was very professional, and I appreciated knowing that we were on the same page. Now after two massive jobs, I can say they did a fantastic job. The team is incredibly skilled at this type of work; they climb the trees, manages to make branches / trunks fall exactly where they want. Joe at Earthworks was the first to respond. I had four outfits visit the job site and provide quotes. Joe's quote came in right in the middle of the pack, and he could schedule me the next week. And he very much seemed to be on the same page for what I was trying to accomplish. He and his crew just departed. They showed up on time, and took the time estimated. They were very careful around my landscaping, and did a great job of the tree work. They have completely cleaned up and left my yard in great shape. My front garden now will get the light it needs, and bigger than that, I now have a year round view of the Blue Ridge from my front porch.
