I put my job - major trim on four trees, and two trees to remove - out for bids via yelp/projects and have been very happy with the results. I had seven responses within a day. Joe at Earthworks was the first to respond. I had four outfits visit the job site and provide quotes. Joe's quote came in right in the middle of the pack, and he could schedule me the next week. And he very much seemed to be on the same page for what I was trying to accomplish. He and his crew just departed. They showed up on time, and took the time estimated. They were very careful around my landscaping, and did a great job of the tree work. They have completely cleaned up and left my yard in great shape. My front garden now will get the light it needs, and bigger than that, I now have a year round view of the Blue Ridge from my front porch. I'm very happy with their work, and believe I received very good value for the cost. Very highly recommended. read more

Excellent service. They communicated about arrival. They took down 6 trees in a few hours and completely cleaned up

Stay away from Earthworks. Each time I look over at our meadow covered with tree trunks and branches I'm furious over their lying about our verbal agreement. "Around here we just need a handshake" we were told when we noticed that some of what the worker said was not on the contract. We'll be here until your happy with our work.". They were long gone when they got their money, promising to be "back the next day. When my phone call was finally answered by Joe, the owner, he told me I was a "f.....ing liar. Classy guy who just wants the money and has no scruples whatsoever. We made the mistake of trusting them and were out a very large amount of money. Never again. read more

Joe and his crew came to my rescue quickly today when a tree fell on my roof last night. The job was a tricky one and they did excellent work. I've recommended Earthworks Tree Services to my next-door neighbor, my parents down the road, and several friends who are looking for high-quality work at a fair price. Thanks, guys! read more

Earthworks Tree Services - The crew was professional and the equipment used was next level. - Tree Services Near Me - Weaverville, North Carolina

The Earthworks team was great! We needed two mature birch trees trimmed and supported so they wouldn't threaten the house, and we wanted several ugly Virginia pines removed to provide room and light for nicer-looking trees (sourwood, maples, and tulip poplars mostly). They showed up with a team of six and some very capable machinery and worked their tails off all day long. They were very capable, professional, knowledgeable, and safety conscious. They cleaned everything up at the end and the price was more than fair. I can't recommend Earthworks enough. Top-notch work. read more

My wife saw the truck driving down the road and took down the number as we were in major need of tree work. The owner Joe came out and gave us a very good price that made all happy.. however,, when his crew came out they took the game to another level. Props to Orson the crew leader and his guys.. for sure we will use them again ..From Quote to pay was easiest transaction ever. Got our view back: priceless read more

Joe Brady and his crew arrived on time and immediately went to work. They took great care not to disturb nearby flower garden area. They were very professional, polite and had great team work. Joe Brady and his team did a wonderful job at my farm. They took down dead trees that were leaning on my fence by the road as well as other trees that would fall down eventually. They cut one dead tree near my pasture fence without dropping anything on the fence line. Trimming areas that I asked for, as well as some that they noticed that were in need, they did a very professional job. I have already scheduled them for more work. They cleaned up the site better than I'd hoped. I highly recommend them. read more

I have sunlight again! Wow, this is a great company. They worked quickly, cleaned up after themselves, and were completely professional. The price was fair too, so I feel good about getting the work done.Their Arborist came out to my home, asked all of the right questions, gave me information about the work I wanted done, and made recommendations. Then, the expert tree cutters arrived on time, worked efficiently, cleaned up beautifully, and were on their way. read more

Joe was a true life saver! He made time to come on a weekend and took down a giant tree limb that was threatening to destroy my brand new deck and ruin the access to the entry door. He was quick, fair, and I got a little time to have a nice chat with him. He's a wonderful person all around and I will certainly be calling the next time a tree needs trimming around here! read more

I needed to reduce the crowns of seven overgrown trees. As well as removing one that died a couple of years ago. The work wasn't easy due to the size of the trees and the steep terrain. Earthworks Tree Services did exactly what I wanted and went out of their way to reschedule the job around my busy schedule. The price was very reasonable. Great guys you can always rely on. I hope to use them in the future and I would wholeheartedly recommend them. read more
