Service was decent. Not busy at all on a Thursday later morning. Friendly and pleasant employees. They even helped me unload my truck. The only thing is the cost. What happened to go by weight. It's been awhile since I've been to the dump and first time in Lodi. $40 to unload a few closet shelves and rods. With everything else going to dump isn't as affordable as it used to be. read more

Terrible company, terrible service. They've broken multiple trashcans and expect me to pay for them. Disconnected me from customer service when I was asking to clarify if the pickup was really at 9pm. Just an absolute shit ass company that we're forced to pay for. read more

WM is a joke! They miss pick ups all the time for me and my neighbors...schedule a 'missed pick up' and they still never show up! Why do we pay for a service that sucks. And don't get me started on their customer service, can never get anyone on the phone and when I do, nothing gets done. read more

I had WM for many years. They are nor reliable, and it takes a long time to reach someone on the phone. After that, you can never reach the same person again. They also make it hard to cancel the contract which requires a certified letter which is not valid at ANY time in the last three months of the contract. Also all disputes are adjudicated, according to the contract, by a litigation firm, and not the US legal system. They also raise and change prices without letting you know and for no apparent reason. Horrible company! I got KMG now--so much better. read more

I had a small wine refer which they charged me $100 just for the refer and then almost $18 for the small pick up truck. They would not take the computers I want to dispose, so I went to north county landfill and they took the computers for free and told me the refer would have been free. I asked the lady at Cal Waste what would the county charge be and she played dumb. The correct answer was $0.00 at the county landfill. Cal Waste is run by crooks. read more

If I can place zero I would. I tried to call them and got transferred 3 times! Horrible phone customer service.

Ever since I moved here, the trash people just skip my house and I'm backed up in trash and recycling because of this!!!! I've gotten a second recycling can and now I had to pay for an upgrade in trash to a bigger size because of all the times they've skipped my house and left me backed up!!!! Calling this place is such a joke, I've been speaking with a robot that doesn't understand what I'm calling for!!!!! ZERO STARS AND WHOEVER KEEPS SKIPPING MY HOUSE YOU BETTER COUNT YOUR DAYS OF EMPLOYMENT!! I've called and they told me that it says my trash was dumped, but it wasn't!!! So somebody is LYING!!! MY CANS ARENT EVEN OVERFLOWED I DONT KNOW WHY MY HOUSE IS SKIPPED IS THIS A PRANK???? AT LEAST 15 TIMES SINCE I MOVED TO LODI THIS HAS HAPPENED!!!!!! read more

Waste management is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. I've been using WM at my business for 15 year, I recently reduced my bin from 3 yards to 2 yards because the bill was soo high. 1 month later I learned their competator company, republic waste, was charging $235 instead of $489 for monthly service, and when a transient leaves the lid open overnight, republic charges $37 while WM charges $300 every time the lid is ripped open. When I went to cancel, WM informed me when I reduced my bin size to 2 yards I entered a 3 year contract, and to cancel it will cost $3500. Now I know why Tony soprano was in the trash business. read more

I've had service from Waste Management for years and this is the first time I've had my "hand slapped" for putting one wrong item in recycle. Since I missed the pick up two weeks ago my container was full and lid SLIGHTLY lifted. When WM came for service they only used one truck to "dump" both trash and recycle in same truck. In which I've seen them do before. What's the purpose of separating recycle and trash then? This is totally BS and this whole new container for "food waste " is crazy too. Way to rip off people! DISAPPOINTED IN WASTE MANAGEMENT and the City of Lodi for passing the new food container "law." This City is going downhill fast. read more

Review for Stockton WM. I remember when they would come to your back yard to empty trash. Now we place container at the curb and sometimes they don't even provide weekly service. When you call, they say they have until 5pm and before you know it, a week passed by. New bill which is quarterly (3 months) because they want to get paid months in advance for services they "might" provide. There's only an invoice date, no "due date." Oh yeah, they do notify on bill the fees for not paying on time. Again, there's no due date on bill. We should be able to charge them for services "not" provided. I have a huge oak tree & a city planted tree that drops acorns. I fill up the container not even half way and it's heavier than cement. I haven't even added yard trimmings. But if you need another container, that's an additional $13. Multiply that for the quarterly (3 month) billing cycle and that's an additional $39. There is leaf season where more containers are needed, I don't need to be charged an entire year for a container I need 3-4 months a year. Used to be great service for the $$. Now it's great $$ for mediocre service. Street sweeping is included in the fees. During leaf season, they are "supposed" to provide weekly service. Very inconsistent. Leaf season is October to the end of December, then it's every two weeks. They haven't swept around my house in over two weeks! Thanks, wish we had options but this must have been a sweetheart deal with WM and the city. read more

I would give this company less than 0 if possible. Because of their monopoly and use of tech as an excuse to not provide customer service, today four homes in my neighborhood will have to wait a week for a trash pick up. Want to schedule a pick up on another day? Nope! Extra trash pick ups can only be scheduled for the same day as would normally be a trash day. Great solution for a company interested in squeezing profit without picking up refuse. If I could get rid of this service for another company, I'd gladly do it. read more

Waste Management - Lodi - Glad your tech said we didn't have our trash cans out. - Junk Removal & Hauling Near Me - Lodi, California

It is now Friday and my garbage has YET to be picked up. My pick up day was Wednesday!!! I called late Wednesday afternoon and the lady I spoke to at Waste Management was informed me it should be picked up by 6pm at the earliest if not Thursday morning at the latest. Thursday morning comes around, no pick up. But they were able to pick up at the businesses in front of my house. So I call again, this lady at Waste Management informed me they got notification it was picked up. She said they had VIDEO of it being picked up. I informed her that's entirely impossible as I have cameras all around my front yard and no garbage truck came by. Turns out, IT WAS VIDEO OF THE WRONG HOUSE!!!!! She apologizes profusely and disputes. Informs me she put in a new request and it could take 24 hours for the request to be completed. So here comes today, NO PICK UP! So I call, and this lady was COMPLETELY rude. I informed her this was the THIRD time of me calling and nothing has been done. I told her I was promised it would be picked up in 24 hours, she then begins to give me attitude cutting me off kid sentence and saying "that's 24 BUSINESS hours, you know? Like the hours the trucks run? I'm so sorry if someone told you otherwise." So condescending. So she puts in ANOTHER request saying it will FOR SURE be picked up today. I get back to my house after 6... ITS STILL NOT PICKED UP!!! This is ridiculous! I cannot believe how hard it is to pick up some dang trash! At this point, I'm going to have to wait until next week to get rid of trash that's been sitting in there for longer than a week!! Our trash from this week is piling in our garage, and it smells awful! Not to mention my can has been sitting in the curb since Wednesday since I was told not to move it, and it's only a matter of time before a Karen or someone comes by and complains. I pay for these services, it's not like there's a balance due, the bill has been paid. I don't know what to do at this point. read more

I recently ordered a dumpster roll off from this company. First they messed up delivery and we had to re order it. When the dumpster was full I went on line to schedule the pickup. I entered the date I wanted it picked up. Lo and behold they picked it up AND dropped off another empty and charged it to me!!! I called immediately to correct the mistake and was told that when I went on line I ordered a "switch out". No where on line is there a selection for a switch out. I scheduled a pick up. It turns out that to them, pick up means to switch out for an empty one. I was told that you have to CALL them to order a removal, and that you can't schedule a REMOVAL on line. There was nothing on line that said pick up means switch out and that to have a full dumpster removed you have to call. They charged me for a second dumpster and refused to refund me. On top of this misunderstanding on their website, the person removing the dumpster tore up my yard and left big trenches as he parked it in soft ground. Beware working with Waste Management! read more

Always friendly service, they follow a schedule, Yes, we have to roll our cans to the street. Its not their fault that the Prior Jerry Brown-out hacked up another hair ball to put garbage in L n G cans without thinking the problems through. He never did. Like Gavin Gruesome they hack up hair balls without thinking about how they will work on a state like Kalifornia. read more

I'm a Disabled Veteran 100% P & T and have requested Handicapped Service Pick Up for a year now. They DO NOT HONOR Veterans with Disabilities! The Drivers are crass and Nasty and have even damaged their own toters, attempting to intimidate or be mean! The Customer Service LIE EACH TIME I've interacted with them. They place me on HOLD and NEVER return to the call. Then their automated system hangs up! They should LOSE ALL of their Federal Contracts! read more

Worst customer service! 2 weeks later still waiting for our trash can to be upgraded when we are paying for the bigger one already. Alicia was so rude on the phone (she answered with attitude) and they will only exchange on your trash day. So assuming we would have a bigger can we have over flowing garbage now. Stay away from waste! I wish we could pick a different company! read more

I just spoke with the Waste Management in Lodi, about a garbage can that was not completely emptied 2 weeks in a row. They claim that the can was picked up and it is my fault that the garbage was packed in to tight to come out. I figured they would say that so before I called i reached into the can and was able to remove the garbage without any effort and i am sure if I were to turn my can over it would have emptied onto the street. The customer service rep stated that I was at fault and they had a video to prove it and I needed to fix the issue. When, I explained to her what I did before calling it made no difference in fact she got very rude about my trying to explain my side. The attitude I get from them is since they are the only game in town and they don't have to worry about providing anything close to good customer service. If I could switch I would. But, I honestly think the City of Lodi, should take into account the poor customer service that Waste Management provides and look for another company when the current contract expires. In fact I will be calling the city of lodge an official complaint against the company. read more

Run away from WM if you can. They've decided to start fining you for over filled cans in Stockton. Problem is, they can't even figure out the pictured cans belong to a different house and not yours. Prices here for the smallest cans are outrageous, and god forbid you have to go up a size! They miss pickups, growl when you call about it! If you have a choice, stay away from any house in their area. Oh, did I mention, the leave rubbish all over the neighborhood, and when they drop your cans, they can even make sure the y are standing so you don't run them over? read more

Horrible! I am so disappointed the City of Stockton has stopped managing the garbage and has turned it over to this joke of a company. It is not fair that I am forced into a quarterly billing cycle. I would like my monthly billing/auto pay to continue. Also, we no longer get a free "dumpster" per year; it is now over $200. The customer service on the phone is horrible so I tried going online to look up the information I need. It always asks for your address and then it tells me you already have service so you need to call the 800 number, which I do not want to do because it's getting me nowhere. I put in a fake address and then it tells me looks like you don't have service with us so you need to call the 800 number. Again, no thank you. I've already done that. Just like PG&E, this is an unfair monopoly and I feel like we deserve other options. read more

If we could give it a zero we would!!! What is up with the barrier A.K.A. Obstacle that is over 2 feet high of cement in front of you!!! In order to empty out your trailer you have to be able to lift your refuge over the barrier now!!! We were told it was there now to protect their workers from getting hit! We've been here for years and have never seen nor heard of any worker being struck by a vehicle and if one did it would be due to their negligence because they were so busy scavenging through the debris to see what they could salvage for themselves! They obviously don't have any concern for their customers now! I guess they don't have to since there isn't any competition! read more

We live in Thornton, CA The record says that our recycles were picked up at 10:41 AM on Friday 01/07/2022, but this is the exact time that our trash was picked up??? Our recycle bin is still full and NOT serviced yesterday January 7, 2022. There was a truck delivering new bins across the street so we think this might have something to do with the missed can. My husband always watches out the front window, so he knows at 10:41AM the recycle was not picked up. He has Parkinson's and has a tough time getting the bins out there so it was two extra trips for him for nothing. Of course it's now Saturday and nobody at WM is picking up the phone. The phone robot isn't helpful at all. We thought maybe the driver was really late, so we left it until 11PM and found it still full of cardboard from Christmas packages. Really disappointed in your failure since now we have no room for anything else for two weeks. Not sure why the driver neglected to empty it. Please deduct this from our bill. Thank you Glenda R : read more
