I did not have any issues while my son attended k-4th; however, once he entered 5th grade everything went downhill! Bullying is a major issue at this school. My son was continuously bullied and nothing was done until my son took matters into his own hands. He had to start protecting himself and fight back. He was literally drop kicked onto his tail bone. The student was at school the very next day with no consequences. Other incidents occurred with other students when finally my son had enough and fought back. I was contacted that he hit a student with his binder in the head after the other student knocked items out of his hand and attempted to steal his book that he purchased from the book fair. Also, while this was going on with my son, my daughter entered kinder here! She was repeatedly punched on a daily basis from the same student. Paula, the principal, tried to tell me the majority of the children do not know how to interact with other children and in a classroom setting. I understand that; however, this happened on a daily basis and nothing was done to the student. I was also told that my daughter, in kinder at this time, was falling behind. My daughter was reading before she even started at this school! Thankfully I was able to move her to another school where she is succeeding now and was tested for gifted classes. Now, what does this say about the teachers here? The moment I move my child and she is succeeding! Her reading level is three grade levels above her grade level. I highly recommend looking into an alternative school if possible. I was lucky enough to be able to move my children.

My daughter came home from school devastated about her photo ID informing me that she was bullied over her school photo by other children. She was telling me that they teased her for smiling with her missing teeth. So i asked her if they had any teeth missing and she said no. As i brought this to the front desks attention they told me basically it was not their issue to deal with amd redirected to me to the teacher WHOM IVE NEVER MET, and said handled it in the app. This frustrated me and made me feel like they were just not handling it professionally with explaining that the teacher will contact the parents and then maybe a parent teacher conference would he conducted JUST something settling. They assumed i wanted a physical reprimanded? Excuse me. This is a school.. Why would i expect them to whoop someone or discipline them physically? Just frustrating to hear them say that. So i asked them are they not taking bullying seriously in this state because we're new here and i dont yet know how they conduct things here and they said theyd just send a social worker to the class to talk to the kids and let them know everyone grows at different rates, dont bully anyone. However, we requested a new ID they made us pay for it because i refused to give the one she was BULLIED OVER BACK! hahah, so i paid. but i feel like i shouldnt have. anyways, so far.. not the best

North Pointe's faculty is committed to providing instruction that meets the needs of all students. The new administrative team has brought positive changes that were felt immediately across campus , as teachers, students, and families alike felt respected and empowered to get back to what we are good at, educating children. Student actors were talented, student lighting, sound and technical crews were skilled, and the student created sets were beautiful! You could tell that the director taught the students about their craft, and had them fully invested. For parents seeking a school with a strong Theater program for their students, North Pointe is a great option! Well done, Falcon Players!

The teachers often come across as rude and seem more focused on enforcing dress code policies than providing quality education and meaningful lessons. The school also does not reflect the Christian values and kindness it claims to promote. Everything seems centered around money, and some wealthy families appear to receive special recognition not because of their children's achievements, but because of their financial donations to the school. Overall, this has been a very discouraging experience for our family.

And please read Ms. Li's responses, pointing the finger back at the parents. The gaslighting and lack of accountability by Ms. Li and her husband are not acceptable. There's a reason they always have openings. We had ongoing issues, and every time my wife or I tried to bring something up, it felt like we were met with defensiveness instead of a real conversation. We often left those discussions feeling dismissed and blamed rather than heard. There was no genuine engagement with parents. We were asked what we could contribute to the "community," but we never experienced any real sense of one. Communication felt controlled and one-sided. After we set boundaries around comments we felt were inappropriate, our child was removed from the program without notice. As far as we know, our child had done nothing wrong. It was abrupt, upsetting, and incredibly disruptive for our family. This was not the supportive, respectful Montessori environment we were expecting.
