Its actually a pretty good one (despite the fact that someone has graffitied GRIM on the side of the shop, see my photos). As you enter you probably won't notice that you're being greeted by a lovely chappy as you'll be distracted by a lovely warm fuzzy feeling as the smell of hot steamy cotton fills your head. They offer dry cleaning and ironing services, and are cheaper than almost everywhere else I've used (with no repercussions for the cleanliness of your clothes). There's also no other similar services in the area, so you haven't even got a choice. Strangely, they also advertise a load of music and local events, so if you're about to host a gig or comedy night, and want to attract a clientele with really clean clothes, ask if you can put a poster up here!

This is a treasure of a place which does all your ironing for you. Although it also operates a service washing service, this is of no interest to me. It does IRONING!! Shirts will be made pristine for a mere 95p, the dreaded duvet will be made as smooth as silk for only £3.50 for a double and any child's item costs only 60p to be perfectly pressed. This is a vital community service in my eyes and it is run by a lovely mother and daughter team. If you are a busy working dad or mum and you have a family of 4 then all your weekly washing will be taken off your hands and ironed for approximately £30. Hyjean also undertake repairs and alterations and charge a very reasonable price of £10 for a coat and £8 for trousers. This multi-talented team also dry clean clothes and everything is handled with care rather than like a stress ball.

Two knee length dresses still had stains on both the inside and outside, to which the assistant stated "we don't look on the inside or clean them", despite paying £12 per dress. The steaming was of such poor quality that the inner lining was hanging below the outer dress. When I complained stating I was unhappy with the service the assistant repeatedly shouted at me and threatened to call the police on me. At no point was I rude or aggressive, I was simply asking for a refund for a poor service. The assistant has both poor dry cleaning skills and customer service skills I would really recommend that people avoid this business. There are more reputable dry cleaning services in both Royton and Lees who offer an exceptional service.

So I started to take it there for a service wash, I can not recommend highly enough, everything is perfect. It is family run and I don't know where I would be without them - buried alive under a mountain of dirty clothes probably! When I finally moved into a house I didn't own a washing machine and besides the only place to fit one is in the worlds creepiest cellar - so I have continued to take our family washing here.
