Don't leave your laundry unattended. I needed to wash large items like mattress pads, blankets, etc. This layout is poor and has the large washers on one side and the smaller ones on the other, so you can't keep an eye on all the washers you have running. Because the soap quantity the attendant advised me to use (I seldom use large capacity washers) created so many suds, I had to run the mattress pad a second time without soap to get rid of the residue...another $10. I could have dropped it off and had it cleaned cheaper. I had not checked on the smaller washer right away. When I did, I noticed there were no other washers running on that side. However, a man I observed lounging around previously, had a cart next to my washer and when I approached my machine, he quickly turned away and left. I never saw him come in so don't know if he even had clothes to wash. The attendant stays in the back room so never sees who comes in or is in the laundromat. She should. It would serve as a deterrent for anyone entering with no clothes to wash. As far as the functionality of the laundromat, I find that you have to pay for extended spin to properly remove excessive water from your laundry. Otherwise, you will be spending the money on drying which results in clothes shrinking. read more

Our family is new to the area and we are still in the process of moving. We had some larger items to wash (like comforters) and needed them done today. Highly recommend Wash World, here's why... Firstly, customer service was impeccable. The staff were extremely welcoming, helpful, and patient explaining how to use the machines. You can bring cash up to $20 bills and use the quarters to pay, OR, you can download the "FasCard" app and electronically upload money onto the app, then scan the QR codes on the machines. Their largest machine holds 13 loads of laundry which costs $22.50 (gigantic - it's like 8ft tall), and the smallest machine holds 2 loads which is $3. You can toggle the water between cold and hot. The dryers come in 3 sizes: $1.50/$1.75/$3 per 15 minutes. I don't encourage bringing large bills because they may not be able to break anything larger than a $20 bill. Now! Onto the environment. I came a littler later on in the day around 5-7pm, and it was immaculate. The staff are constantly cleaning, sanitizing the tables, and smells really good. They have like 7 TV's playing, so you'll always have something to watch. The WiFi is really great - we were able to watch a movie with no lag. The bathrooms are extremely clean and I didn't feel like I had to "watch over my shoulder" the whole time we were there. All in all, 10/10! read more

Ripped off of $3.25 just to restart washer due to dropped article to put back in washer and another $3.25 to start it again. I've took my wash to my on site washers and wash them there and I'm drying the wash at another laundry facuilty. The washer barely was running a minute when I stopped it and I can't get it started again without getting charged another $3.25 are you kidding me?? I saw others saying too that others couldn't get a refund either due to malfunctioning equipment. Do you all yourselves a favor and stay away from this place. You know I'm never returning there again. I've used all of my wash credits and I've destroyed my rewards card and right into the waste basket. read more

How bad can a laundry mat be? Pretty bad when they offer the use of a debit card as payment on their machines and then hit your card three times, $25 each hit, for a total of $75. They blame the hold of $25 on "your institution" however I called my bank and it is the establishment that determines the amount. I used two machines that were the second smallest and by the time you add an extra spin, extra rinse, and extra wash to it, the cost is $9.75. Well it was not worth it because with all the extras it only ran for 28 minutes and the clothes were wet when I took them out. I then went to the dryers and they are $1.75 for 15 minutes. Ran my card again then After finding out they hit my card for $75 I decided to use quarters for the second dry cycle. Their only saving grace is a woman attendant gave me 4 gain pods since they only had one soap to purchase in the dispenser. I will update this post after the additional charges "fall off" as one of the attendants told me would happen. If you run your bank account close to the empty zone DO NOT USE YOUR CARD HERE or you will get over drawn doing laundry. Thank God that is not the case with me but it is still pretty upsetting. Obviously there are a lot of people that get super mad at this issue here as the attendant said she gets yelled at pretty regularly. read more

So, I have not used their drop off service, but this is where I go to do my laundry. The machines are relatively new, and they're fast. I dont care how much laundry you have, they have machines here to fit it. It's good value for your money. You can pay with cash/coins, credit card, or use their app. I downloaded the app, added funds to it, and do my laundry that way. I an come here wash, dry, and fold my laundry, and the whole thing only takes about an hour. It's CLEAN. There's always attendants working, and vending machines if you forgot anything. This place is great. The sun really heats up the inside due to no sun shades on windows. Probably 78 degrees inside during the summer. High prices to wash and dry due to the electricity bill, air conditioners are unable to keep up Lol. The humidity inside here is like a vacation in the swamps of Louisiana. I came in to get laundry done. please be warned if you pay by card you will be charged a $25 fee initially for each transaction. I just came in to wash and dry one simple load and left with $50 in fees. definately will NOT be back. nowhere was this warned to us if customers are paying by card. I would have given more stars but the fact that I was called a liar and the woman who had video of me putting money on my card continuedly told me I was full of sh*t and refused several times to allow anyone else review the video. She told me if I don't like it, then to email corporate, but NO response was received. I will say the place is clean and the young gentleman who assisted me was very patient and helpful as I found using both the washers & dryer confusing. Since moving into an apartment without a washer and dryer (WTH was I thinking!, oh yeah they have an awesome doggie park and rent was reasonable). I've been to several laundromats and washed at friends houses, while I like washing at my GFs house, it takes all day and I end up getting drunk, so I go to laundromats when I can't afford to loose a whole day and don't need to be drinking wine. Anyway I digress, the laundromats I have found have all been the cliche for a laundromat, kinda dirty, poorly lit, machines broken and attendant is MIA. But Wash World blows all of those out the window, plus they will wash your clothes for you for $1.00 which is well worth it, IMHO, I will go that route the next time and update my review to reflect it. Plus an attendant assisted me in how to use the machines and steered me to one large enough for my items. Did my wash in 18 minutes and dried in 32 minutes. This is just a great laundromat! It's fairly new, and as such the place is clean and full of all new machines. And, it is also full of new 'technology' which brings this laundromat into the 21st century. The washing machines accept credit cards - no more rolls of quarters from the bank teller. The washing machines dispense their own detergent - no more lugging bottles of detergent, softener, etc. (Plus, the machines are cleaner with no spilled products.) The washing machines use ozone treated water - it not only cleans deeper, but it also sanitizes the machines between customers. (Think of that fancy carpet cleaning company that removes stains without residue.) Finally, the laundromat has free wi-fi for your phone and tablet. No need to see old newspapers and magazines lying around. I will return. read more

My go to place to wash my clothes if I don't feel like using the machines in my building. The facility is clean (including the bathroom) and the staff is friendly. It's also not in a bad neighborhood. They offer a loyalty plan where you earn points for cash back/free washes. They have free wifi and MOST importantly the machines actually work. The dryers are quick and only 25¢ for 6 minutes on high. The machines vary in size and cost. I always go on Wednesday when their machines are cheaper. An 8 load is $5, 5 load is $3.75 and, 3 load is $2.25 on Wednesdays. Their machines are usually all in working order and their change machine is working. Don't have quarters? They now take credit cards or you can load money onto a gift card to use. I highly recommend wash world; specifically this location. read more

First off, I haven't had to use a laundromat in forever! I was apprehensive, but the environment was very clean, bright, inviting and did I mention clean?!? I even felt comfortable leaving my items unattended (although I didn't). They had a large TV with Wolverine on screen! Love it! Coins and card are both accepted and they also had vending. I washed 3 very large loads including a king sized comforter WITH ADDITIONAL items in 15 minutes. Drying was done in 30ish minutes. Considering the size of my loads, it's impressive. At no point did I feel like it was taking FOR-EV-ER...as a matter of fact, it made me question if I really wanted the washer and dryer that I was getting in a few days!! We use Wash World for comforters and blankets that overwhelm our little washer and dryer at home. They have a big washer that can handle six blankets at once so it doesn't take forever and a day to get them done. Staff has always been friendly and helpful, like today when I was about to point out to the attendant that the floor was wet and slippery, but she got to me first to show me that my mattress pad was leaking all over the floor. I have a washer and dryer at home, but Mamacita and Papi Chulo were coming into town, so I needed to do the comforter laundry. I came about at 11am on a weekday. It had a decent crowd there, but it wasn't too noisy. There were a number of good machine options of varying sides. As laundromats go, it's pretty clean--on a couple of the tables, you could tell some rugrat had just eaten his Lunchables there, but for the most part, the tables were clean. There were laundry supply and food vending machines. The people on duty seemed to be doing other people's laundry (they have drop off service), so they seemed to be regularly moving around, emptying the trash cans, wiping off some of the tables. I hate laundromats with a passion, so I had been dreading coming, but it wasn't too bad. It's got it's usual cast of characters-single mothers with a couple of noisy kids (although most seemed pretty well-behaved), bitter looking older men who haven't had a date since the Ford administration, cat-loving, Nook-reading middle aged women who are overly possessive about you touching "their" cart, etc., but all in all I got in and out in no time. And the hot dog/burger place in the strip mall its in, has decent food. read more

Update: They offered to re-wash our stuff, even though it was obvious that it was NOT washed the first time. Well they did actually wash the hanging clothes this time. But since I didn't talk about the folded clothes (towels and sheets) they apparently thought all they had to do was refold them and I'd be so stupid as to think they were washed. Our FIFTH trip here in 3 days. We are taking the folded clothes back and showing them the dirty sheets and towels. I am not paying for this lack of washing. read more

I have never seen such a clean laundromat! I've been so many places where detergent spills have built up and the facility just smells funky. Not at Wash World. The lady who runs it keeps it spotless. Even the tables are cleaned, I actually saw her cleaning them, and they didn't even look dirty. I happened to stop by on a Wednesday when they have specials on the washers, it was a dollar to use the front loaders. The dryers work very quickly, it's 25 cents for six minutes. All the service attendants were very accommodating and friendly. First time customer and got the great impression one is always looking for from any establishment. Quick and easy registration process and very fair pricing once you factor in all the variables: time, soap, dryer sheets, washing, drying, folding and packing it all up. Dropped it off early afternoon and picked it up right before closing no mishaps to be had. The important questions are asked i.e. fold and/or hang for certain clothing articles, and if you have a detergent preference from options such as Tide, Gain and one other. The perfect alternative to getting laundry done without the hassle of getting laundry done. Time and money saved = priceless. read more
