Exceedingly cool! I was looking for a same-day dry cleaning service to have a suit and dress shirt pressed for a business engagement. Imagine drive thru service where I'm met with a smile at 7am, told it's a 25% discount as a new customer and that the garments would be ready no later than 5pm! True to their word, I return that afternoon in the drive thru lane and they bring out the garments and ask if the back seat is OK to place them in. I mean, if this isn't bespoke service from a local Tide Cleaners location (they'll likely tell you this is all part of their customer service) I don't know what is. I am over a month late, but better late than never. People in Omaha: let us rejoice over the great customer service at Tide on 158th-ish & Maple. We all know that customer service has all but died since the pandemic. But good people know that hardship is no reason to become an almighty jack@ss. It's actually the time to focus on service more than ever. (If we all did that we could fix this mess...lest I digress) I had been using Tide to wash my bedding, but had been going to my previous dry cleaner for about 20 years. I swear I'm not 100 years old! The previous dry cleaner closed and I brought my 2 most expensive cashmere sweaters to Tide for the first time. Sadly, one of them was completely shrunken and ruined. I was upset, but kept my cool and called. I spoke with Kim, the manager. Kim needs a bonus, Tide. I was wanting to pack the shrunken sweater for a long weekend trip I was leaving for that day. Kim understood this sucked. She offered to buy me a new sweater. I wondered what she would do/think once she saw the sweater was $425. I went out of town that day, sans sweater, and honestly - I worried how this would turn out. I got back to town days later and stopped by to check in. Kim walked out with my brand new packaged sweater in her hands. She really did buy me a replacement sweater. Same brand, size, color. We don't know what happened, why one shrunk and the other didn't. Maybe it was machine error, maybe it was human error. But either way, Kim did the right thing. She resolved my $425 problem with class. Hooray for Kim! read more

Dropped my stuff for the first time at Hyvee on Center St where they contract out to Tide. When I picked up no one told me they didn't attempt to get a stain off my shirt. I only found out after I paid in FULL and I got home to unpack my stuff. The stain they claim was too delicate to get out was on a nothing special, not super delicate shirt and was COFFEE. If they can't handle a plain old coffee stain, they shouldn't be in this business. Not to mention their prices are insanely high. Do yourself a favor and take it to the Hyvee in Peony Park, they contract with another local cleaner and do a great job for half the price. read more

Talk about a forward thinking business plan that may very well turn the industry upside down. I have been a loyal Tide customer since they opened in my area last year. Unfortunately, their work has gone downhill in recent months and a less than acceptable customer service experience recently has led me to go back to the cleaner I'd used before Tide. While I loved the convenience, the kiosk, the friendly staff who delivered my fresh-smelling garments right to my car, the email notifications my orders were ready, quick turnaround, etc. I could no longer overlook the work especially after yet another error that the manager wasn't willing to make right. I was a very frequent customer and it would be much easier for me to stay with Tide, but I feel like I pay good money for their service and would expect my business to be of more value. read more

Good service. Great prices. I had a hunt coat caked in mud. It was pretty bad. I fell off a horse and into a ditch full of water and mud. I took it in thinking that they were going to turn me away or charge me a ton of money to get it dry cleaned. They took it in, but asked if they could keep it a few days longer to make sure they get everything off. Totally fine with me. My only criticism is that my pick up date was confusing. They gave me a date on my ticket, so I showed up on that date and the girls there told me it wasn't ready. I asked them when, and they ran round a little bit trying to find the status of my coat but couldn't give me an answer. They said they'd call me. Despite that little bit of confusion, they did track my coat down. It was good as new when I got it back. They gave me a discount for my inconvenience, and I don't think I paid any more than 6 bucks. I will be coming back for all my dry cleaning needs! read more

What a great service! They come to your car when you pull up. Each person working there has been super friendly, super helpful and very prompt. What prompted this review was that I brought in my comforter (that the cat puked on) and I didn't realize it would take 5 days usually. Although I was a little disappointed, imagine my surprise when I was notified by email and then a phone call to tell me that it was ready the same day! They have me as a forever customer! Not until I tried another cleaning service did I realize how good these guys really are. They have been amazing and helped me with washing and folding multiple big bags of clothing. They dropped off my stuff personally and even gave me a better bag to hand over my clothes in next time. I tried another laundry service recommended by the hotel and the experience was horrible. I want to start this off by saying that I rarely write reviews. I am in a wedding and was put in a situation that had no light at the end of the tunnel. The bride and I got our dresses back from our alterations lady and they had a terrible odor to them. The bride was a mess and thought she would have to spend her whole wedding day with this awful smell. Did I mention that we got our dresses on 9/19/21 and her wedding is 9/25/21. I sent am email on Sunday evening at 8pm to Tide Cleaners off of 147th and Maple to see if they had any suggestions or guidance. I immediately received an email from the owner Kimberly that read 'A manager will be contacting you IMMEDIATELY first thing tomorrow morning'. I thought that was amazing customer service as I was not expecting a response that fast! The next day, I received a call right at 8am from the manager Kim. Let me tell you the moment I spoke to Kim, my stress seemed to go away. This world needs more people like Kim as she was so genuine and she honestly took ownership of a problem that was not hers to begin with! Kim had me bring the dresses so that she could see them and access the work that would need to be done. I was so thankful for them even giving me the time of day addressing my concerns and giving me options. I am so blessed of the customer service this team has provided my friend and I. Kim and her team were able to freshen up our dresses to help with the odor. We cannot wait to wear these dresses to the wedding! Kim has been in constant contact with me during the past few days and Kimberly has been great following up as well! Kim has given me so much hope and turned a terrible situation into one I can now laugh at. If you haven't had the pleasure of doing business with Tide Cleaners you are missing out! I highly recommend to give them a call and trust them with your belongings! I will be a returning and forever customer to Tide Cleaners solely based on my relationship and interactions with Kim. I only wanted my blazers that were brand new and only needed pressed so I called the 178th and Welch Plaza location and I was told yes, they offer this service. When I arrived I was told it's really dry cleaning with 20 % off. I explained the blazers are new and they don't need dry cleaning. I had one blazer that needed dry cleaning with a stain, baby diaper cream on the front from changing my granddaughter. . Long story short. They dry cleaned new blazers and the fabric was hand washable. Brand new blazers are now ruined. The material is stretched out and the entire shape of the blazers changed. I'm so angry right now and I spent a lot of money to purchase the blazers and now they are all ruined and going to the Goodwill. I was told they freshen up the fabric with the dry cleaning and it would not hurt the fabric and that is why I agreed. They should have realized this was too harsh for the fabric. The chemical smell is so bad that I had to move the clothes to my basement because they try to hide the chemical smell with some type of freshener. Then they charged me $45.00 and now I cannot even wear my new blazers. I only wanted my clothes pressed. What a total rip off plus they ruined my clothes. I wish I would have gone to Fashion Cleaners. I never had any problems.. I'm just sick about this. I lost a lot of money. read more

I cannot say enough about the amazing customer service I received from Tide Dry Cleaners this past week. I had a last minute dry cleaning order that I needed before 1:00 on Christmas Eve. When a snowstorm hit I understood that I probably wouldn't get the clothes on time but Tide went above and beyond by hand delivering the dry cleaning to my house, which is on the opposite side of town from the shop. Not only did he (I believe his name was John) get to my house on an unplowed street, he had a great attitude and didn't seem at all like he was upset he had to be delivering dry cleaning in a snow storm on Christmas Eve. I have had horrible experiences with dry cleaners before ruining clothing, and my skirt turned out good as new. Will make the trip when I need dry cleaning in the future. read more
