I should have known based on the smell when I walked in the first time, but I tried it anyway. There is an odor in the place when you walk in, and I was hopeful that it would not stick to my plastic-covered dry-cleaned sport coat upon pick up, but it is unavoidable. It smells like stale food, and bad breath. Now I have to have it dry cleaned somewhere else in hopes that I can get this stink out. I will never set foot into this place again. Awful. read more

i rarely find myself needn' to tailor my apparel, but then I thought to myself "treat yo self mama!" And mamas tailoring was just the place to lend a stitch In a sitch!! i found myself in somerville on a professional business trip, and the highly trained associates there fixed me up with a real nice special: tailored pants AND free room and board, AND whatever food was in the warehouse cabinets!! It was right on the edge of the big city, yet the neighborhood was still so safe! First, the owner is really helpful and they do a great job. I'm shaped more like a quadruped, who thinks he's a biped. This often makes buying a suit or sport coat, of the rack, even the right size makes me look like I'm wearing my dad's clothes. I needed both altered and dry cleaned. Then, I found out the event I need the suite for changed dates, as I expected. My wife ran straight away and the owner did some kind of hoodoo and it was done in time for my event. Let me just say that I never come to Omaha without bringing clothes to alter for Mama. I'm a San Francisco based flight attendant, and over the past 3 years or so I've had everything from uniforms to face masks repaired by her! She's efficient, sweet, meticulous, and her prices are very fair! There's a changing room available with a short sturdy platform sitting in front of a full length mirror, a bench, and several wall-hooks where she takes all the measurements and welcomes your feedback on the semi adjusted alterations. Highly recommend I brought a dress in and had a rush alterations and was done in no time

The least that I can say about this place is HORRIBLE!!! The good old customer service along with the customer satisfaction is absent at this place! I took my dress blue Navy uniform for dry cleaning and pressing to this place, and it came out being black and pink. When I tried to take it back and ask them to fix the matter, the owner of this place told me that her shop does not guarantee anything, that her store did a great job and its no body's fault the uniform turned pink, and that I ,probably, need to buy a new uniform (which is very expensive) because "that what people do when it happens". Really?!!! The lady owner came up with any possible and impossible excuse to defend herself, did not even try to apologize for ruining my uniform nor offered to return the money......vise versa she kept on yelling what kind of an excellent job she did and never had any complaint's. Her last words were (when my wife and I were walking out the door) "There is nothing I can help you with." P.S. I just wanted to let people know about this ridiculous experience of mine at this place so nobody will go and waste their money there, especially military people before the uniform inspection. :) save yourself a headache. read more
