Having recently moved to Parkersburg, I decided to try Kesterson Cleaners to handle a suit and a few jackets in preparation for some upcoming business trips. The jackets were done properly however one of the linings was ironed in a way that let the lining protrude below the coat fabric line. I've had this happen before so I can't really say it was an issue, but it is an attention to detail that some previous (out-of-state) cleaners I've used, successfully avoided. But here's the reason for my post - the jacket associated with my suit was an issue (see pic). It was pretty wrinkled when I took it in as it had been in storage. Unfortunately, Kesterson failed to get the wrinkles out. As my trip is imminent, I am now doing the ironing myself but it was disappointing to have this as an initial experience with a well-established dry cleaner. Hopefully, this can be used as a training opportunity for whoever handles that function.

Their hours are generous 7am to 930pm every day which is great, especially since they aren't 24hr. And they have vending machines as well as a sitting area with a TV, which is good because I often forget my books at home. I can wash my entire wardrobe for under $20! That's a bargain! Plenty of space inside, semi-limited parking outside, but not a deal breaker. Designated washers for greasy clothing and others for soaking, larger options for quilts, blankets...etc. And smaller, budget-friendly options as well. Living alone, I usually only do one or two loads of laundry a week and this place meets that need flawlessly. They also offer dry-cleaning services, which I have yet to try but have heard good things. The locals, although unique, tend to keep you themselves. Never felt uncomfortable here as I have with a few other places on the north end. There are even outlets abundant for charging a phone or using a laptop. No sense in not getting anything done while you're here!! :)

My review is based on two services: Dry Cleaning - great…read morejob. They've always accommodated me if I need stat pickup. My shirts & pants are always pressed to perfection. The service is great and the employees genuinely care about the work they do. Tailoring- I had a pair of jeans brought in from loose fit to athletic/skinny. They did a 5 star job. I've also had several shirts done. My neck size is 17.5 which usually puts me in an XL. I typically wear mediums. They've been able to tailor my shirts giving them all a much cleaner look. I highly recommend both these teams at VS.

Dry-cleaning service seems to be great. No problems there. The Wash-n-Fold service is not worth it. They return your clothes in plastic garbage bags, wrinkled due to poor folding, and smelling of cheap detergent. I was not informed that their process of accepting credit cards is to write down the card number and leave paper overnight before processing it. I am not comfortable with this.
