When I first arrived, I noticed a police vehicle and police officer was helping one of the gentleman vacuum his patrol car. After scoping the scene, my specialty, I found that Chesterfield County law enforcement vehicles as well as school buses are granted a complimentary bath. Great service and a great cause! I randomly decided to get my cash washed today. Typically I wash it myself but it was 95 degrees outside. They were really welcoming and did a fantastic job. I drive a Jeep which often gets covered in bugs (fellow Jeep drivers can attest). Car washes are never able to get the bugs off with just the machines. I went there suggested by a friend who goes there all the time but my first experience was terrible went through and the back end of my truck never got washed sad because the men told me they cleans my truck and it was ready. paid $5.00 extra for amor all was never done. I had purchased the monthly loyalty card and went back the second time the men are great this time the hand washed my truck looked great until I saw all the smears from them using the same towels to armoall the dash they cleaned the windows with the same towel. They're sponsored by New Life for Youth, a non-profit training center to help youth with life-controlling problems. I first found them when I used a coupon I'd purchased. I bought the Groupon for $11 and it was definitely worth it. The services that they offer are not unlike other car wash locations, but the thoroughness and attention these guys show the vehicle set them apart from the competition. They start with a vacuum, then pre-wash, put it through the belt-transported machine, then finish by drying the car and wiping down the inside. I paid $15 more for the armor all (I think its called the Manager's Special?) and the guys did a great job with that as well. I was pretty upset that it rained the next day and ruined the great job they did on the exterior of the vehicle, but the inside remained spotless. My car was covered in pollen and bird poo and was in desperate need of a spring wash. I was going to just head over to my local Car Pool but I was browsing on Groupon and saw that a local car wash had a special. I had never heard of Wash and Roll but it was not far from my house and the deal they were offering could not be beat with a stick. For $30 I purchased 3 Blue Suede Shoe car washes at Wash and Roll. I normally spend $30 on one car wash at Car Pool so I thought this was a steal. I was sure to read the fine print of the Groupon to ensure I would not be bamboozled. I also googled the car wash and saw that this was a Christian Based Organization that helps employ at risk youth. I decided to go ahead and give it a try. The young men that worked on my car did a phenomenal job. I was really impressed. They were polite and efficient. They were hard working and seemed to enjoy what they were doing.I loved that the money I was spending was going to help a great cause. My only complaint was when I told the young man that I had a Groupon some of the services that was suppose to be included in my deal was not. He stated if I wanted the Armor all body shield and the interior of my car dusted and wiped down that would be an additional $15. It clearly states on the Groupon and the company website these services are included in this type of car wash. Dusting the interior of a car is normally part of a basic car wash but the car washes I purchased was for the deluxe car wash that they offered.I understand that the company is attempting to make a profit but be truthful when you are offering a discount or don't offer it all. I was let down by the dishonesty but I went ahead and redeemed my car wash. I will use my remaining vouchers and definitely continue to tip the hard working youth that work on my car when I come but I doubt if I will come back after that.
