We sat down with Ms. Kasey, giving her our information and all the paperwork. She quoted us a time frame of a few weeks and they were done within a few weeks. She also explained that someone else will double check her work to make sure they don't miss anything and how this is done for all their clients. The value of having our taxes done correctly and not having to worry about missing something was well worth the money. We will be using them for all of our financial needs.

On the advice of my sister, I called and made an appointment with Mr. Lecrone. Super easy with a pretty open schedule even during the rush of tax season. I arrived and Mr Lecrone got me in with no wait. He was super nice, super knowledgeable, and super fast. My taxes were done and filed in approximately 20 minutes. Now here is the best part... Each year, the chain tax preparers continued to raise the price. Last year I think I paid over $500! It was getting very ridiculous. For the exact same service which included no wait and actually more friendlier than the scared tax preparers of the chains, Mr Lecrone's bill was $125! He has earned me as a customer for life. A+!

I had…read morean appointment scheduled for today at noon with a selected tax personal that has done my taxes in the past. Only one and a half hours prior to my appointment time, they called and informed me my tax professional had an emergency and wouldn't be in so they needed to cancel my appointment. No problem, things come up, emergencies happen. They offered ZERO apologies, ZERO concessions. They informed me when I could re-schedule and that was it. Mind you that I'm a third shift worker and burned a vacation day last night so I could make my pre-scheduled appointment! I picked another tax professional who has also done my taxes in the past and picked am appointment time of the afternoon of the next day. After I hung up with Christie the receptionist, I thought, "wait a second, I'm receiving $50 off coupons in the mail from Jackson Hewitt and they're also offering $100 Walmart gift cards for doing taxes with them, H & R Block at the very least should do SOMETHING for inconveniencing this DEVOTED customer." I called back and again spoke with Christie who immediately put me on hold. A few minutes later, Christie came back on and stated, "My manager said when you come in tomorrow, your tax professional will take care of a discount for you." She failed to tell me how much of a discount I'll receive, and when I asked who gave her this information, she only replied with, "Karen." No last name, no anything. I then said, Thank you, and Christie then only replied with a couteous "umm hmm." I'm going to call the corporate office, and if they can't give me a definite discount amount to discount my tax preparation, H & R Block has lost a lifelong customer.
