We have done a few ATV tours in the past and this one has been my favorite! Our guide, Dawson, was knowledgeable, friendly, and took great photos! He knew when to pause and let us know what was coming, gave us the opportunity to go through two giant puddles and assured our backseat duo they would get minimally wet. We went one of the last days of the season on a guided tour and it was really fun. I had never snowmobiled before but they were really patient. Explained everything. Never acted like you were stupid. Went on some fun trails. We rented their gear for 30.00 so it was worth it. (Came out of town) The snowmobiles are new. Have heated handlebars (nice) Felt like our guide was always keeping a good eye on us and showed us some cool stuff. Would do again. Our guide was a girl with blonde hair. Great place. Great gear. Great equipment. Great guide (Paul's the best, ask for him). I've worked in the service/guiding industry for most of my life so I wanted to leave some constructive "criticism" although it's not really too serious. If you go to apple maps the address takes you to the wrong place (not sure if this is user error or not but might want to look and see if "wasatch excursions" on apple maps does the same thing for you guys) Second, I had a trade voucher through Sundance and you guys were unable to take the voucher # through the phone so you asked if could bring it in. I forgot to put the voucher in my car and by the time I realized i was almost there (I live about 40+ minutes away). I figured it wouldn't be too big of an issue especially since I had a photo of it but I was kinda bummed out when they required me to leave my card on file AND bring it in the next day... no problem if I lived down the street but taking over an hour of driving to drop off a piece of paper that could've easily been emailed seemed silly. I think that's the only area that seemed like you guys dropped the ball with customer service. read more

We loved our UTV tour with Wasatch excursions. I went with my 20 year old son and 16 year old daughter. This was my and my daughters first time in a UTV. My son is pretty familiar with ATVs and UTVs. Our guide was great. I believe his name was kyler. He was newer to this branch of the company. He had been at a different location for quite some time prior though. Being that we are from Colorado, we have seen mountains before so we were primarily out for the experience of off-road vehicle. Somethings to note: 1. they will ask you to arrive early so you can get checked in and they can get you fitted with your helmet and goggles. And also get you a bandana. (to make sure you are not eating dust) 2. wear long sleeves/pants or a jacket. You will get very dirty! like really dirty. 3. the tip for the guides is not in the price of the excursion. If you like your guide you can venmo or do cash. You can also add a tip onto your credit card with your reservation if you just want to keep it easy. 4. It was easy to book. You can do it online or you can call. They were happy to entertain all my questions when I called to make our booking. 5. You can pay an extra $25 as insurance that will cover above $2000 in damage if for some reason you were to wreck their vehicle. I was told incidents are extremely rare with guided tours. We enjoyed our experience and hope to come back some day to do snowmobiling with the company in the future. Thanks for a really fun time! read more

Ryan took us on a great little tour around the hills and was an all around great guide. Affable and charming he enjoyed learning our limited knowledge about the wildflowers that were still in full bloom thanks to the heavy wet season this year and was great at not making the more timid drivers in our group feel rushed. He even got some great shots for Mum to add to the album. My parents really loved the side by side especially as the cushy seats and good suspension allowed Dad to enjoy the ride without aggravating the metal plate that was placed on his spine a while back. In spite of this comfort the four seater was able to handle the rough terrain beautifully. They are excited to checkout the other locations and their options and while I am not sure if Dad would be up to a snowmobile tour, the rest of us are looking forward to the opportunity in the coming winter. AMAZING! I was researching for an adventure that 4 very different people would enjoy. So excited to have come across Wasatch Excursions. Their staff is awesome and super accommodating. We took a two hour guided snow mobile tour. Our guide was amazing. She did a great job of explaining how we can have fun safely and also took great photos for us. We will definitely be back in the summer to try other tours. The tour was beautiful! Also they had equipment rentals for all sizes, which is great! As we were getting set up, it was comforting to see our guide sanitizing or separating used equipment. Our adventure with Kyler was the best of our trip to Park City. I can't say enough about what a wonderful, fun tour guide he is. And a genuinely bright light of a human. He gave clear directions and helped my mom (who usually hates heights) feel so calm she even drove! Every part of the trip was fun thanks to him, and he was so patient with our family. We did the 2 hr guided UTV tour with Tim as a tour guide. Tim was great - took a bunch of pictures and videos for us, gave us some unique info about the mountains, plants, animals, etc. Overall we had a blast. If it wasn't obvious already, don't wear your Sunday's best for this... you will get dusty, muddy and possibly wet depending on how fast you go through the rivers. I'd give this review six stars if they added a couple zip lines on the peaks!! read more

Um. Awesome!?!!!? Yeah. Pretty great experience. A whole group of us work colleague types (12 in all) went out for an afternoon of snowmobiling in Utah, and these guys & gals made is a great time. First of all, they have everything you need. Everything. If you show up and it's 2 degrees F outside, and you are in shorts and a t-shirt, the gear they provide is enough to keep you warm enough. Seriously. Plus, the sleds (Skidoos, mobiles, whatever you call them from where you're from) have heated handlebars, which, while may seem difficult to believe, can warm your whole person. Second, the team of guides and staff at the base are top notch - concerned about keeping you alive, but not so safety driven to not let you go fast (where appropriate) or wipe out in a deep drift. All in all, it was a kick in the arse. Added bonus, one of our guides was the nephew of an old buddy of mine from the east coast. Small world! Thinking about this? GO! read more

This was my first time riding in an ATV. We had a group of 12 so there were six cars and then two guides. The trail was very rocky and didn't allow for a whole lot of speed but but the mountain that we got to climb was worth it. The trail also went over three little creeks and the whole ATV would fill with water so that was also really fun. But do not wear anything that you don't want to get dirty. We went snowmobiling with Josh and it was a great time. He's a conscientious and kind guide who gets to know his customers. He worked hard to make sure we didn't just have a good time, but also learned about the area and snowmobiling in general as well. We have two teenage boys and he connected well with them. One great thing about Wasatch Excursions is that they have rights to ride in the state park and not just on the roads.
