Things started off on the wrong foot here. Our party of 5 was seated right away, then the a server took our drink order after 5 or 10 minutes. We were there on a Sunday evening, and were the only customers. After taking our drink orders we waited 15 minutes and still no drinks or a server to take our food order. I had to go over to the bar and ask what was happening with our drink, plus let them know we would like to order food. A few minutes later a different server brought our drinks and apologized about the mix up about who would be taking care of us. After that service was great. I'm still downgrading them one start because this shouldn't happen. The ambiance was welcoming, the large size of the restaurant surprised me. We arrived for lunch around 1:00 and was seated right away. Our server was very personable and friendly. He knew the menu well and helped my partner decide between two dishes. The restaurant itself was on the quiet side which was nice for a Saturday afternoon. My partner ordered the Kimchi Fried Rice and she loved it. Definitely happy with the selection and she said it was just what she needed today. Very flavorful and perfectly cooked egg with a gooey center. I ordered 3 rolls which were all excellent. One special roll called the Marilyn Monroe and two house rolls. I'm a sucker for a sweet potato Roll and the mixed veggie was light and fresh. Everything was excellent. My one gripe is the price for dishes and house rolls. Specialty rolls I expect to pay more for but most of their house rolls are between 8-10 dollars. There were no lunch/roll specials which might be a difference between weekend vs weekday but spending 50 dollars on lunch is a bit much. Would definitely still recommend this restaurant with the stipulation that you'll want to be ready to spend more than usual. read more

Bottle Tsingtao and draft Karin beer. Everything tasted wonderful! Mr W loved the fried rice. He said it had a unique smokey flavor in it that he really enjoyed. Service was lovely. We dined outside. Very busy! Every table was full of patrons. Patio area is connected to the neighboring brewery so it made it look very large and busy. Tables were spaced out nicely for distancing. I felt the sushi menu at other locations were much larger. This location seemed to have less cooked rolls. Menu was nicely labeled for different food preferences. Vegan/plant based options were some. What turned out to be a mid-week date night (my husband is going out of town on a fishing trip with his nephews) turned out to "why did we ever come here." Even though we asked to sit in the bar area doesn't mean we want to watch world wresting federation. I didn't realize Wasabi was a third-class joint showing that crap. The waitress was friendly enough but she forgot to bring my husband's seaweed salad and took forever to bring a second glass of wine. We asked for both to be taken off our bill. When we're told that manager needed to take off the glass of wine, the manager didn't even stop by. The entree I ordered was absolutely huge -- a little guidance would be appreciated when a meal needs to be split. I cannot eat nine large jumbo shrimp deep fat fried and drowning in your house sauce. We shared the crispy shrimp Rangoon ($8) and the crispy Brussels sprouts ($6). They were delicious. The majority of the group ordered sushi. Unfortunately due to medical reasons I could not order sushi. Their sushi is awesome. So I ordered the teriyaki chicken ($14j. I was expecting anything......but instead I was blown away. They teriyaki chicken was AMAZING. it came with rice and cooked onions. It was a generous portion as well. I took about half of it home for the next day. My next visit will be a tough decision between the teriyaki chicken and sushi. read more
