    Three roll combo
    Reagan T.

Our visit to Wasabi Bistro was for dinner on a Monday evening. We had forgotten that they don't serve the bento box meals on the dinner menu...we really with they would. Anyway, I had the three roll combo, which was definitely plentiful and tasty. The combos are reasonably priced and offer a lot of value for the money. Our server was prompt, friendly and helpful. The restaurant is a nice and quiet place to eat.

Great sushi -sashimi as always! Very good service! Otoro tuna sushi, salmon sashimi, ahi tuna tower, skydiver roll, egg drop soup ( really good!) and miso soup were all delicious

Food is good but major concerns on cleanliness. See photo of their salt shaker. I mentioned this to them last week. No change. They need to make cleanliness a high priority.

Our waiter created this amazing gray and white mural on the side wall of Wasabi Bistro! Check out the details on the little boat!

Chinese/Japanese fusion restaurant with sushi bar! Really fun atmosphere, crowded for lunch (even on weekdays), and our waiter today made the amazing gray/white mural (shown in pictures)! Delicious, crispy egg rolls, tasty house Lo mein, generous serving of walnut shrimp! A super cute restaurant, too! Worth the drive!

Service is always attentive here. The food always tastes great and you really do get a lot of food. We had a ladies night out and it was a great time. The Shaggy dog is the best roll! I also really enjoy the walnut shrimp, but really anything I have eaten here is good.

Where to even start?!?!!! This has become our new go to sushi spot since moving up to conroe... This place is an absolute GEM! I must say that our server mr.Steven never fails to make our experience here unforgettable. his down to earth personality and IMPRESSIVE attention to detail... this place would not be the same without mr.Steven.

I haven't been here in many years since they did their remodel and move to a different location. I am going to give them a second try however I am 5050 about the experience. Food: Everything we tried on the food side from sushi to a bento Box was pretty good. Really the only thing we didn't have was dessert so we did a sampling of everything and were content we're content with the food and how much the portions were. Location: This is a strip mall type parking lot situation we were able to get really good parking but I can imagine maybe when it's busy that it could be more of a challenge however we went during lunch and though it was a bit busy we were able to get in within about 10 minutes. Service: So the waitress that we had was nice however I had to ask her to take away a dish that was physically dirty and I didn't want to drink from it. When I told her it was dirty I was very surprised she wanted to leave it on the table. Also my food for the bento Box came out very very late so much so that I truly thought that they had forgotten that portion of my order. I was so full however that I would not have cared and almost was hoping for the mistake. Which says good things about the food but again not so great about the service and timing. Atmosphere: Atmosphere here is decent it's not really anything to write home about and it's definitely a busy spot a tiny bit cramped. It's not terrible and it is nice to see they did try to put effort into the décor by putting butterflies on the wall and putting in initial effort. Overall as I said the food was good the service was OK but the dirty dishes was kind of a huge turn off considering it wasn't just one it was 2 different things. Maybe they just have a c***** dishwasher maybe they just like didn't care or maybe it was completely sanitized and just happened to be really stuck on either way it's super gross. I'm willing to give this place another shot but if it's not kind of a slam dunk I probably am going to keep looking.

The cuts of meat for hot pot were incredibly tender and the wagyu offered was beautifully marbled. Although each slice was generously cut, they were easy to split and share with the table. I thought it was pretty good and not too spicy for me but the wife was choking with the spiciness. We normally get 3 rounds of meat at kpot but we only went through 1 round here because the serving portions are larger. I was asked about or inquire about the "member price" shown on the menu. The wait staff came by frequently to clear plates and trash.

Not terrible, not amazing--just kind of there. The shrimp was tasty, the noodles were decent, but the fried rice (my favorite part!) was a real letdown. Somehow managed to taste like straight oil with a side of disappointment. Overall: come for the view, stick to the sushi, and maybe let the fried rice sit this one out.

I genuinely wanted to give this place five stars, but unfortunately our experience was disappointing overall. When we first arrived, there was nobody at the front to greet or seat us, and we waited several minutes before anyone acknowledged us. Service started off decent enough, but once our food arrived, it felt like we were completely forgotten. Nobody checked on our table afterward, we never received water refills, and our server was essentially unavailable for the rest of the meal. We were also seated next to an extremely loud party that was yelling throughout dinner. We wanted to request another table because it was disrupting the experience, but our server never returned to our section, so we never had the opportunity to ask. For a restaurant that presents itself as high caliber, I was surprised that management allowed such a disruptive atmosphere to continue. As for the food, the BBQ Pork Buns and Siu Mai were both very good. The award-winning Beef Rendang was easily the highlight of the meal and the best dish we ordered. Unfortunately, the Mee Goreng and Malaysian Fried Rice were major disappointments. Both dishes had an unpleasant smell and lacked flavor or seasoning, making them very unappetizing. Another issue was finding a bug on our table during dinner. I understand things can happen, but combined with everything else, it added to an already frustrating experience. We even wanted additional napkins, but again, our server never came back to check on us. Eventually, we became so frustrated waiting for service that we got up and paid the bill ourselves. Ironically, that was the moment our server finally reappeared. To make matters worse, gratuity appeared to already be added to the bill, which honestly did not feel deserved given the level of service we received. Overall, the BBQ Pork Buns and Beef Rendang were the only parts of the experience that saved the meal for us. It's disappointing because the restaurant itself is beautifully designed and has a great ambiance, which made us even more excited to try it. Unfortunately, the poor service and inconsistent food quality overshadowed what could have been a much better dining experience.
