The tone is often irritated or short, which makes even simple scheduling questions feel uncomfortable. Please work on the front office staff and the people who answer the phone. There are PLENTY of people who would be happy to work at their capacity. I've also found that the bedside manner of the two doctors I've seen--Dr. Goldstein and Dr. Rosmarin--is severely lacking. Again, speaking only from my own interactions, they come across as unsympathetic and dismissive. Many times, it has even felt like I was being spoken to in a scolding or condescending way rather than being treated as a patient needing care. The remaining doctors are excellent. I dread to take my child knowing that one of the two are serving sick appointments. Yes, I could go else where but the remaining group is what has kept us there. I'm willing to wait to see any of them for a visit.

Dr. Jamee was incredibly professional and personable. She asked a lot of questions . got to know both my wife and I before we moved onto bigger topics. She asked about our family our goals, our concerns - offered valuable insight and great advice. Bottom line she gave off very good vibes. If everyone at Monroe pediatrics is like Dr. Jamie then we recommend them highly!!

My 11 year old son and I had to deal with an unprompted police encounter because someone jumped to the worst conclusion without even checking on my well-being first and finding out the actually situation. She accused me of being under the influence, and little did she know; 1). I am prescribed medication that makes me drowsy 2). I had my father in the parking lot who was waiting who drove us 3). I have photos in my photo library with time stamps showing my son and I taking funny snapchats together 4). I probably seemed drowsy after the fact they made us wait 45+ minutes just to see us, and then another 45 minutes just for us to find out it was they were secretly plotting to call the police on me. Might I add the trauma that experienced put on my son was horrendous, it is making me shake as I even type this. We were completely singled out because I not white and I am a young single mother on medication so they automatically assumed I was on drugs and was prob hoping to get cps involved. It was so disgusting they never even asked me first to see if I was a ok or had someone to take me home? OR even apologize to my son and I formally. I also have had other experiences with the Spanish lady at the front desk involving discrimination. Dr Jeffs cool, that's it.

We've been going to Dr. Beth and Jessel for two years. It's honestly hard to imagine a more perfect…read morelevel of care for our 4 and 1 year olds. From basic treatments and checkups to their 24/hour on call services, we've been extremely satisfied in every way. First on Dr. Beth and Jessel. They are both extraordinary and I'm never concerned getting scheduled with either one. They are knowledgable, caring, sensitive and sweet with our kids and bring that same level of care when you have to call them at 3 am with a screaming baby. I get the sense Jessel may be more experienced, but it honestly hasn't mattered who we see. But I suppose for a really serious matter that's who I'd want to talk to. The staff at the office is also great. I've gotten great over the phone help from nurses and even the crew behind the desk is very nice. And overall the office is cheery and nicely decorated. Finally, when my wife gave birth to our second, we never got to St. Peter's hospital where they have rounds and instead had to go to RWJ in Somerville. Even though they couldn't go into the hospital to see us, we got fabulous support from Dr. Jessel when the baby was having some difficulties. She was available on the phone, super supportive and provided our baby wonderful care. Can you tell we love them? My wife and I say that nearly every time we leave.

Dr. Jessel now has her own practice in a beautiful new office in Bridgewater (by the Bridgewater Mall). Her calm demeanor, professionalism and knowledge of pediatric medicine are excellent. She has worked with us very closely through medical issues with our second child and gives us the comfort of knowing we are getting the best care possible for our children. She is extremely responsive and always makes us feel like our concerns are important. We recommend her highly to anyone looking for a pediatrician as an expecting parent, parents who are new to the area or are looking for a new doctor for their children. Jacobs continues to care for all four of our children. I can honestly say that they treat our kids like their own. We scheduled a visit prior to our son being born. The 2 of them spent over and hour with us answering dozens of questions and never once pushed for our commitment. After the meeting my wife and I were very confident in their abilities as physicians. They are parents themselves and this was evident right away. It has been 9 months and at least a dozen visits now and I am happy to report that our expectations have not only been met but exceeded. I would not hesitate to recommend this team to anyone I know.

They see the child as a whole person and not just a cough or a rash. I have often had to wait (ex a 2pm appointment can often turn into a 3pm appointment or once for me, even turned into a 4pm appointment when a child with an urgent issue came in). If you hate to wait (or have a tight schedule), it might be frustrating. When my child is sick or has an issue - I don't want to feel like I have to go home and look things up on the internet to confirm the pediatrician gave me all the options and was up on the most current guidelines, research etc. I trust Westchester Pediatrics to tell me what I need to know and that's it. For an anxious mom who is a compulsive looker up of things, that's huge. I trust the care - no need to look anything up.
