We stopped by to look at twin bed headboards, frames and mattresses. I checked Yelp and this store…read morehad rave reviews. The business was a little busy on a Thursday at 12:00. We walked around the showroom for 20 minutes waiting on a salesperson to free up. Their selection of twin headboards was one. We needed a bed quickly for my MIL so we agreed to buy the one headboard and frame. We had to order a twin mattress and were assured it would be in on Monday for a Wednesday delivery. Tuesday I ask hubs to call the store to ensure they have the complete bed and are on track to deliver the bed on Wednesday. The representative tells him the mattress did not come in Monday. We emphasize we need the mattress and are given a loaner. If our mattress comes in Wednesday morning, it will be delivered is what we are told. Wednesday morning the headboard, frame and box spring are delivered along with loaner twin mattress. We are called and told that the mattress we ordered will be delivered Thursday. I go to the assisted living place to meet the delivery team and as they put the mattress on the floor I realize it's the wrong size. The guys called the store and were told they had the wrong mattress and to return to pick up the correct mattress. They wanted to remove the loaner mattress. I told them their chances had run out and I was keeping it until the purchased mattress was delivered. MIL would be on the floor if I didn't keep the loaner. Thirty minutes later hubs received a text that the purchased mattress was not part of the delivery from Chattanooga. I will update this review when we receive the purchased mattress.

Railroad Station Antiques is a fantastic place with three floors filled with a great variety of…read morewell-kept furniture. From authentic antiques to more modern pieces, there's something for every taste and style. The selection is impressive, and everything is arranged beautifully. Prices really seemed to range from low to very high depending on what it was. The building had impressive water damage that leaked in all the way from the roof down to the bottom floor which you could see in the one building corner ample water flowing in when it rained. A bit surprising this was happening in a well kept antique shop. The only drawback for me was the staff on the first floor. I felt a bit hovered over, which gave the impression they were judging us based on our appearance. Despite that, it's a must-visit for antique lovers, and I'll definitely be back to explore more if I'm ever in the area again!

My sister and I had a nice time visiting railroad station! We came primarily to see Carol Foret's…read moreart, which is to the left as you enter, on the first floor. I've driven by this place so many times in my life and have even turned around in their gravel parking lot out back at least once and just did not notice it! [Too busy driving?] As everyone noted, it is 3 floors. We only made it to the second floor. I found it to be art centric, some handmade soap products and lotions, minimal clothing, a good bit of jewelry and furniture, some books, kitchen items, just a little bit of everything. We enjoyed a round silver ice bucket we recalled from our childhood, the one with penguins around the edge...sister didn't buy it because she said it was not in good shape - although I didn't notice anything wrong with it. Also, we enjoyed looking at the glass colored "grapes" that were so popular when we were growing up. I liked how one of the artists whose work on display was various oil paintings, included the size, media, and a personal anecdote on each title/price placard and would suggest all artists do this. None of the booths we visited were manned which was a plus for me, since we could take our time and explore various items uninterrupted. Like I mentioned, they have a dedicated [kinda small] gravel parking lot on the back [west side of the building]. Also please know, they do NOT have public restrooms which cut out trip short. It's not far from Melt, so I'm sure you could walk the block and easily use the facilities there.
