I would give this company 0 stars if possible. I booked this company because it had decent reviews on another sight. This is the first time we have attempted to hire someone to put lights on our house and I'll admit that I was pretty excited about it. They emailed confirmation when I booked and emailed that our appointment was coming up and emailed the day before that our appointment was the next day and the last email was the night before, which was last night, stating that they had successfully modified our appointment from noon to four. They moved it to eight to noon. The weird thing is that we didn't request this. I had not seen that email and didn't see it until about 1:30PM today. By the way, they debited our account for the full amount last night, which was the day before our supposed service. I went over to our account page after I see the modified appointment and it tells me that the job is completed when they have never even shown up. No light people have been here and my husband and I have been here all day. I call the company's number and a receptionist answers. She has no information about our appointment or anything else. It appears as though she's a third-party receptionist. She just answers the phone and takes messages. She tells me she attempts to call James and he is not answering so she will leave an urgent message. I give them about 20 minutes to call back because at this point it's already 2 o'clock. No one calls back and hasn't. I would've given more time if they had not already debited our account and moved our appointment and said the job was completed Next, I called the bank. I should've looked at Yelp first, though no one has a story quite like this one. I'm both disappointed and disheartened. read more

Ordered a 2 story house roof installation, 1 tree Christmas light install. A guy showed up, didn't knock the door or inquired where or how I'd want the lights installed. He just started working. After 2 hours of installation, without saying anything, he just left. No explanation, no nothing. Tried to see if the light works. The tree light works, but roof lights did not work. After the guy left, no one called me, emailed me, no communication or explanation. They charged me $781 dollars for everything. Updates: The owner James came over next morning and fix the power chord for the roof, and added a few more strands to our trees for free. He plans to come back on Monday to put a few extra feet on our roof top. Updates: James came over to fix the power of the roof which wasn't installed in the first place, and have added a few strands on the tree and on the roof for free. That's pretty cool. I'd say overall they started weak but really tried their best to do right afterwards. read more

Last year I was charged 360.00 to hang my lights this would be my 3rd year this year I did not get a reminder so I sent a e-mail they sent me a quote still did not get it they texted me and said they sent it I texted back that I did not get it so they sent a new one this one is for 525.00 thats 165.00 more I decided to look in my spam folder and they had sent a quote for 425.00 I pointed out that 165.00 over what I paid last year is too much its 45 % higher- this is just labor its only the front we bought the lights from them read more

Great and professional service! My install was delayed by a day because of the volume of customers for the new season, but it wasn't an issue. Warriors for Light was in constant contact with me to let me know what was going on and easily rescheduled my service for first thing the next day. UPDATE: After stating my displeasure with theor less than honest business practices, see below, the company reached out to bring back the items. They stated that they had to change their business model this season due to issues with customers storing their own lights. I am increasing my original review at the request of the company as they have returned the lights and garland. However, I am only increasing it to a 2 star review as the entire process after install is still not one I would recommend. The entire process was very much a bait and switch of services from when we booked the service to the time of removal. ORIGINAL POST: This business is not being honest with their service. We hired this company to decorate our house with roofline lights and door garland. When booking the site stated you were buying the lights the first year and that the lights would be stored with you in bins until the next year, at the time you would call them back out to hang the lights. When installed the team was polite and professional. Again it was confirmed the equipment would be stored at our house. When a different person came to remove that is where things changed. Now you only rent the lights and they are to be taken back to the company. This company is a rip off and had we known we were only renting the lights and garland there is no way we would have used this company. A quick scan of their website shows it is now riddled with old and new information. However, someone attempted to update the site with statements of "now you rent the lights," this was not present when we hired them. Additionally, there are still statements on the site that the lights are stored at your house in bins they provide. read more

They did my lights in 2020 and it turned out OK. The main problem was they did not come equipped with the tools needed to properly install my lights. I told him I had a 30 foot roof and they were to bring a 50 foot ladder. They showed up with a 20 foot ladder and went and rented a lift which messed up my yard for several months. Nonetheless, they got the lights up. Fast forward to 2021, instead of bringing the 50 foot ladder they want to charge me $500 to rent an unnecessary lift. They want me to pay $2000 to have my lights put up, that's $100 less than I paid to begin with. They promised it would be 40 to 50% of the cost to reinstall the lights. Do not believe them. I would highly suggest not using this firm if you have a two-story house or plan to have them put lights up multiple years. They are not trustworthy based on my experience. read more

Completely disappointed with the customer service of this company. I booked appointment weeks in advance (second year), and waited past the time they were supposed to show before reaching out to see what happened. I was completely floored by the response I received when I messaged the on facebook. I never spoke to anyone, just booked online. When I told them there must be a mistake, they had a manager call to say there is no appointment, they don't know about any online conversations, they did not like that I held them to quoted price last year, and did not want to pay the $200 additional they wanted to tack on when they got here, they banned me and I should have know they canceled my online booking. They can't help the emails don't always work. A conversation would have been greatly appreciated (this year or last year), but they agreed last year to stick to the price- The customer service I appreciated was actually a knife in the back this year. Although easy to schedule, the job and subsequent customer service to try to fix the job are far below what you pay for. Inconsistent descriptions on their website (renting vs. buying the lights), misperceptions on height of tree wrapping and number of strands, and to top it off, belligerent and inconsistent customer service communications when simple questions are asked. Would absolutely recommend looking elsewhere. Sad to be this disappointed especially at this price point. read more
