We were sort of crammed in a corner and the staff, although friendly, seemed a little disorganized and slow. I ordered a steak and my husband a sandwich. My steak was def not cooked as requested, I asked for med rare and got more of a med-well, which surprised me considering it's a steak house. I ordered bernaise and it came out looking as if it was sitting for some time. the mushrooms on my steak were almost charred and the steak and mushrooms both SO SALTY!!!! I also tried the hash, which our waitress recommended. once again, so salty! I am usually a person who has to grab for the salt shaker for everything so this is definitely not something I would comment on unless it was pretty bad. We also had the recommended Brussels as a starter, great dish and nice big shareable but again, it seemed way over seasoned. I also ordered 2 of the same simple cocktail throughout dinner and they came differently. Just struck me as odd as usually there is consistency to glasses etc at a bar.

My husband ordered the crispy chicken sandwich with fries. The chicken breast was a little thin. Fries were decent. I ordered the salmon teriyaki bowl. It's a thin slice of teriyaki salmon on top of rice and pickled vegetables. I hate repeating myself but again, it was decent. Have had better elsewhere. Our friend ordered the chicken green goddess salad and she loved it. It was a generous size and with a side of pita bread. Overall service was great, bathrooms are clean, plenty of parking. I ordered the Texas Philly, and my husband had the brisket sandwich. We had to wait a while for our food, which we understood given how busy the restaurant was. Others around us were complaining about the wait, and those tables had a different server who was very apologetic about the kitchen being backed up. The hand-cut fries were piping hot and seasoned perfectly. It's so rare to go out to eat and get hot fries, let alone fries that are piping hot. That alone was worth the wait! My husband loved the brisket sandwich, and the Texas Philly was SO good--piled full of meat. We live in the south metro, but it was well worth the 30+ minute drive to get there. It seems they would benefit from having a FOH lead or hostess who also did bussing and other support staff duties. We ordered the Breakfast Burrito w/ brisket and the House Breakfast w/ brisket. There's something about the Touchtunes jukebox playing 80's tunes, the help yourself popcorn machine, and the footrail that make me nostalgic. When my husband picked it up, it was made with pepperoni, sausage, and green peppers rather than green olives. I hate green peppers! They took the pizza back to the kitchen and handpicked all of the peppers off the pizza, of course, missing many of them, and then added a ton more cheese to cover the taste. They sprinkled a few green olives on top and called it good. We had hoped they would have just given us a fresh pizza instead. We both ate one piece and threw the rest away. I called the restaurant, but there was nothing they were willing to do about it. So, the best I can do is not go back which is sad because we went there regularly with our neighbors. The cilantro rice that comes with the dish was slightly undercooked. It usually is good but this time was off. My tortillas were also a bit on the dry side. Overall, always get great service here. The restaurant is clean and provides for a relaxing atmosphere. I do recommend trying them out.
