If you care about regenerative agriculture and nutrient density, this is the gold standard for Northern California. The absolute standout for me was MyHarvestValley.com . I'm a huge advocate for soil health, and their regenerative walnuts are a masterclass in what happens when you treat the land right. You can actually taste the difference, it's not just a snack; it's high-quality fuel. I ended up spending quite a bit of time there just appreciating the transparency of their process. Beyond the walnuts, the entire market is a treasure trove: The Meat & Produce: I was struck by the selection of properly raised meats and organic produce. Finding proteins raised with this much integrity is rare, and the variety of healthy eating choices made it easy to load up for the week. The Nursery Finds: I didn't expect to be scouted for my garden, but I saw some of the prettiest Japanese maple starts I've ever laid eyes on. The health and structure of those starts were stunning. It has a thick fat cap that my boyfriend likes. IT IS DIFFICULT TO FIND! If you get their grass fed one it will run about 17 bucks. If you go for the regular one it will only cost about 6.50. I love this place! Sushi...coffee shop..made to order pizzas..hot breakfast station..deli..nice wines..etc. The employees are always super nice! Best of all is that they have outside seating for pets and will allow well behaved small dogs inside while you are shopping! Ps. Two men can only accomplish so much and they work their butts off! They are the only reason that I'm giving 2 stars. This store did not need to spend so much time and money with the recent remodel. The energy could have been much better served building an efficient store that was perhaps not quite as short staffed and maybe just a little bit outdated. What a wreck this place has turned into!!

This grocery store/food facility should implement and enforce a dog-free policy…read more I was in and witnessed a dog, with no service animal vest, sniff and graze its nose across tomatoes and avocados. This is not sanitary by health code standards. Dogs carry pathogens that can spread to food and cause illness. I expressed my concern to staff and they stated they were unsure of their dog policy, but would relay this to a manager. I hope that my concern is taken into consideration.
