It is seasoned to perfection barbecued perfectly inside and out.! well worth the money! The employees are very helpful, polite, and eager to assist you in anyway. The store is a good family spot. They even have picnic tables if you would like to enjoy your tri-tip there. You can also purchase your tri-tip in front and then take it back to the butcher shop where they will happily slice it for you if you choose I strongly urge that next Friday when you were at Holiday market or even if you're passing by to stop in and purchase yourself some of that succulent tri-tip

Your organic options have been life changing and im grateful to call this Magalia store my store. I love walking into the store and everyone knows my name. It's very obvious that all the employees love their job and also love me. Thank you for bringing back the original Holiday market back to Magalia. The organic strawberries on AD this week were phenomenal too. I haven't tasted a strawberry that delicious in 15 years. Please continue with the great work, but also the expertise your buyers have in selecting the best produce to sell in my store. Everytime I walk into the produce department I have to stop and admire the skill of the produce manager...No kidding, it's truly a beautiful site to see. The best part is my countless options and varieties to choose from, on top of, everything is so fresh...It truly feels like it's just for me but I know others are enjoying it as well...Match made in heaven, you keep filling those produce racks and we will keep buying organic, fresh products. I'll take a photo next time so you can smile too! Thank you, organic girl

I don't shop here to get a bargain, but it's convenient being located off a main drag. The customer service is always exceptional and even the baggers are pleasant. One complaint I do have is the deli department. I have never ordered anything directly from them but the folks behind the counter are quite loud and talk about non- work related stuff. I can hear them all the way past the produce department sometimes. Other than that, I always have a positive shopping experience.

Not only that one item that I bought, which was spareribs had the correct price on it, but the the barcode tag weight said one thing and it charged for a heavier amount. I spent 15 minutes for them to try and fix the problem for this one item. Eventually, they just had to weigh the item and just charge me the sale price for the weight and it didn't even listed as meat. And in their produce department just today they had a sale price on red bell peppers but the only bell peppers they had in the whole store weren't the ones on sale. Additionally, they have prices on the shelves for chips that show one thing, but in very fine print that I can barely see with my glasses. It says you have to buy four to get that price. This store is intentionally misleading people and ripping them off anyway they can lately.

It has a thick fat cap that my boyfriend likes. IT IS DIFFICULT TO FIND! If you get their grass fed one it will run about 17 bucks. If you go for the regular one it will only cost about 6.50. The one thing I discovered I do not like is their stuffing. I didn't want to make stuffing this year for the holiday so I purchased the premade stuffing from the hot bar. Unfortunately, it was the most disgusting, bland, beyond tasteless mushy air (lol yes, REALLY) food I have ever tasted. That's all I did was taste it, and threw it straight in the trash. What a waste of money, and it wasn't cheap! I could've bought three boxes of stuffing for the price I paid for this one portion. I guess that's what I get for being lazy. Next year, I'll definitely make the stuffing on my own. With that being said, that might be the only downside to the store. Now you know, don't buy the stuffing, it's nasty. Lucky for them, that's the only nasty thing in the store, everything else is absolutely amazing. If you're finicky about everything you put into and onto your body, this is a great place to go shopping, you're sure to find everything you need. 4 stars!

Pros - clean - easy parking - reasonable prices, for a store of this quality. - this and WinCo seem to be the better stores, not just for Chico, but within an hours drive. I ship wine for a living and after Katrina, RGO secured a few pallets of "heat damaged" bottles. Afterwards, I reviewed them at the WS (Wine Spectator) site and they were all upper 80's and 90's selections! Gotta love it! You can also get some decent cuts of meat, but I suggest cooking them as soon as you get home as they will typically expire within a week or so.
