It is seasoned to perfection barbecued perfectly inside and out.! well worth the money! The employees are very helpful, polite, and eager to assist you in anyway. The store is a good family spot. They even have picnic tables if you would like to enjoy your tri-tip there. You can also purchase your tri-tip in front and then take it back to the butcher shop where they will happily slice it for you if you choose I strongly urge that next Friday when you were at Holiday market or even if you're passing by to stop in and purchase yourself some of that succulent tri-tip

I love this place! Sushi...coffee shop..made to order pizzas..hot breakfast station..deli..nice wines..etc. The employees are always super nice! To avoid this lunch rush, I do my shopping and get out of here before 11, or wait until it ends, then come in. Store is very clean and cheerful inside. I like both locations, but this one sometimes has some items you can't find at the Mangrove one. Really like their deli and bakery sections. They have great sandwiches and lunch specials. I love to get some barbecued chicken and some of their delicious pastas. The options for grabbing a quick bite here are fantastic. Overall, this is a wonderful store for shopping at.

Pros - clean - easy parking - reasonable prices, for a store of this quality. - this and WinCo seem to be the better stores, not just for Chico, but within an hours drive. Con - Are Trader Joe's over priced? If I was moving to this area, I would live and shop in a smaller town, such as Corning or Orland. Then I would be saving money on housing and food.

I ship wine for a living and after Katrina, RGO secured a few pallets of "heat damaged" bottles. We grabbed a few for a buck each and as it turned out, the vintages were all FINE; not a mousy or bretted bottle in the batch! Afterwards, I reviewed them at the WS (Wine Spectator) site and they were all upper 80's and 90's selections! Gotta love it! You can also get some decent cuts of meat, but I suggest cooking them as soon as you get home as they will typically expire within a week or so. I grab a $12 tri tip once every two weeks and we have some decent beef for a few days. Good times!
