This facility was the answer to our prayers. we were visiting out of state when my father became ill. Had emergency surgery to remove and bypass hernias causing obstruction. After our extended stay at Hospital we were given options of were my 85 yrs young Father could recover. Not knowing area or DR. we prayed faithfully, seeing one review for this facility and it answering questions we came to Warm Springs Luling, Tx.. It is the older of the warm springs facilities, but it had private rooms and we could stay with my father in room and not motel. wonderful care through out! in house wound care was soooooo important to us because my father had developed MRSA. they took pictures for wound to refer for progress or new development. they were awesome, testing antibiotic levels, just let me say, they were thorough, family friendly staff, Qualified nursing and the Doctors were in daily, sometimes twice a day. They even call a podiatrist in to take care of my fathers toes!
the nutritionist helped my Mother understand the nutrition and diet for my Father because of constipation and malnutrition from surgery, so she could continue after he was released.
Public relations helped me in all needs;Insurance, of setting up home health , to arranging return visit to surgeon in New Brausfels, TX.
From the time we arrived to the time we left we were treated with professionalism and a true loving environment.
My Mother said" first time I am crying because I am sad to leave " they took such good care of us and made us feel important!"
