Also, there is a bar in the lobby, and the guests are USUALLY quiet but if they get too rowdy and you have to complain about it, they do get told to shut up and go to bed. It really wasn't an issue. They have a small shop in the lobby as well, where you can pick up ice cream, hot pockets, TV dinners, snacks, etc. And free cookies all day. I recommend staying here. It was a pleasant stay.

There was an older lady working the desk when we dropped our keys off that morning, she wasn't very friendly. It was almost like she was upset that we took her away from whatever inappropriate conversation they were having in the back office. At one point my husband even overheard the way she was speaking to not only other employees, but to another guest too. Someone should really come into this place and either shut it down, or fire a few people and get someone new in there. This is ridiculous.. I never write reviews, but this upset me. Was down there eating breakfast and all we heard were staff talking very loudly cussing and being very inappropriat! We will never stay there again! The room wasn't very clean, and when we checked in about 1am the desk lady was sleeping in the back, we could hear her snoring, I guess we finally made enough noise she came up and you could smell the alcohol on her, she also looked as if she was very high on something! We didn't want to stay there but like I said we arrived really late and my children were already upset and tired. He lost his job & ended up having diabetes reaction that caused foot Amputation of his foot.. So my Dad donated his extra car to them along with clothing & food in the car & we drove it out to them.. But everyone was completely booked.. so we drove a few miles more at 9pm We called Hampton inn in Pecos , we were exhausted & out of our minds from driving . The Hampton Inn Night manager Jessica, was amazing!!! She was very kind & accommodating & went above & beyond the Manager position!! Our room was beautifully decorated, cozy & Sterilized.... After being cramped up in a car for three days, it was so nice to have a little room to spread out. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean, had lots of good storage, and had all the in room amenities we needed. The shower had good water pressure. There was also laundry out in the lobby that didn't require payment and everyone was using it courteously. The pool was indoors in a gazebo with sliding glass doors. The hot tub was broken, which we were pretty bummed about because we had sore backs from all the driving. The kids didn't care that it was broken though. The breakfast in the morning was a really good spread! There were options for every type of breakfast goer. You do have to show your buffet ticket in order to eat and you're not allowed to take food back to your room though, so we had to get everyone out all at once to eat. It was a nice stay overall, definitely recommend the plus over the basic Best Western.

My mom enjoyed museum hopping and site seeing with us. She also got a really good night's rest here. As we left she referred to it as "a neat place." My daughters absolutely loved the pool and hot tub here - we had it to ourselves the night of 1/13/2024 and the following morning. They also raved about the hot breakfast with a cute little Texas-shaped waffle and a variety of boba pearls, including blueberry flavor. Yes, I said boba! We stayed in Suite #203. It was nice and clean with two double beds and a sleeper sofa plus two flatscreens and ample outlets. After taxes and fees, my rate was $160.99 The only pitfalls for me was the interstate noise which wasn't too bad, but I could also easily hear kids running up and down the hallway a few times. Additionally, we had to use towels from our room for the pool. At one point I had to go downstairs to ask for a blanket that I thought should have been supplied in the room as part of the sleeper sofa. Nice, friendly staff. I'd definitely recommend for families.

He even called to see if his reservations were on their way to see if he might be able to give me one of their rooms. He wasn't doing it because I was a female or anything like that he was just doing a fantastic job and it was so nice to have somebody going above and beyond! Especially when he was going above and beyond because that's how he is doing good business not because he thought I was pretty. I was thoroughly impressed with his level of commitment and I really appreciate it after such a long drive and especially when the phone customer service did not take care of what I was needing. He's lucky there is is a boom at the moment in Pecos and beyond lucky he has good staff on grounds to cover what he allows.

I feel very safe here, which is important to me bcz i dont always have a traveling companion. The hot water lasted as long as I wanted & the showerhead's adjustable settings helped soothe my tired driving muscles. There are plenty of pillows on the king bed, & the mattress is comfortably firm. I will definitely stay here again. I'm a very particular person, and I highly recommend this hotel.
