Then you drive around in a semi circle and pick up on the other side of the cute little building. Daily special which could selection of chips and soda and something sweet for a set price every day. No substitutions but a set price.? This would allow for a faster "grab and go quote experience and may expedite service and wait time. I'm giving the business 4 stars for concept, 5 for personal service, and 3 stars for ease-of-use. Asked the store clerks if other pumps are working and was told yes. Pulled to pump 12 and read my card. I realized that the pump's display was not showing the price, amount pumped or total price. I pumped a tiny amount and shutoff the pump to end the sale. Told the lovely people inside and suggested they put a sign on the pump saying "out of f'in order" . ( I did not drop the f bomb) . Got even more blank looks and a sarcastic "have a nice day". Did not get the feeling the clerks cared at all.

Not a word of English spoken. This is Mexican food for the Mexican population of Wappinger Falls. Tacos, on a corn tortilla, with meat, onions and cilantro. Finally, proper tacos for my Mexican food deprived mouth. I had just eaten dinner, but decided on a taco con carnitas y un taco con chorizo. Jesus, it was almost as if I was back in Highland Park, Los Angeles. Moist, fall apart in your mouth carnitas. No weird, hard chunks of gristle. A perfect balance between fat and meat. The chorizo was pretty standard for LA, nothing too exciting, but spicy and pretty goddamn epic for this side of the country. The salsa roja was smokey, spicy and delicious. Damn. I'm still thinking about these tacos. For me, they lack some crucial elements: no carne asada, no al pastor and no radishes served with the tacos. But they serve lengua. And have awesome salsa. And it's authentic, which means a lot to me for tacos in upstate New York. So yeah, if I lived near here I'd become a fat mess REAL quick because these tacos can complete with LA. Seriously.

I noticed I had little in terms of gas and needed something in my tank to get me home. The exit led me southbound only and thought about "the first gas station I see, I'm pulling in -I don't care of the price I'll need to pay or the brand name I have to use- I ain't budging." I was alone, so pushing was out of the question. You were the first gas station I saw going south on (US) Rte 9, so I pulled in. I saw you were a little more expensive than most stations I tend to use, but it's always good to use ones like you every little while. I pulled in and at first I did pay at the pump with my Plenti card. I knew I'd have a receipt that way and I'd at least would be getting points for the gas I purchase, but my gas stations I tend to use give me pennies off per gallon with a card, but I do like a printed receipt. Afterthought machine asked me if I wanted a receipt, I chose yes. But pump number 8 didn't give me a receipt. I opened the receipt door bin but their was no receipt there. It gave me no indication that an error occurred or a reason why I didn't get one, so I headed in to retrieve a duplicate. The clerk was nice when I explained the problem and had them print out a duplicate receipt for the transaction. Again, I'm not the type of person who'd spend more for gas than some nearby stations, but I was desperate. I don't generally see many convenience stores with mechanics shops in Northwest Dutchess Co where I was hailing from, but this was awkward to me. I saw the door leading to the shop which threw me for a loop at first, but I figured it out after a second or two...

I sat there for over 42 minutes, and they finally called me up just to tell me that they did not have my prescription medication available at the time. When I asked, when would they have it ready or available, they told me that they could not say at the moment, and that I should come back tomorrow...wtf? This is WALGREENS!! This is supposed to be one of America's Trusted Pharmacies. Dried and Sassy staff working there just to get a paycheck, that don't really care for the customers well-being!
