Frederick Maryland - GNC (North Location)…read more Went in to purchase pre-workout a few weeks ago. Won't be making this mistake ever again. Salesman outright lied, increased the pricing of Lit AF to more than the price that was listed online by GNC. Only happened to notice this due to me checking online as I was walking out the door. To make it worse, this wasn't the first poor experience I've had here. High pressure sales tactics, quoting information regarding supplements they carry that aren't even remotely correct. Pushing customers to purchase supplements that are drastically more expensive. I've even tried to use coupons that the salesperson mysteriously can't seem to use when trying to complete my transaction at checkout. All in all, if it was a one-off situation I could look passed this. Fact is, it's not. I'll be shopping online or at my local Vitamin Shoppe. End of story.

Unfortunately, some customers fail to follow the directional arrows placed in the aisles. This is by no fault of the store - just of irresponsible shoppers. However, during this visit, my checkout time was amazing and as always, Franklin was kind and friendly. Franklin asked how I was doing and made conversation instead of just sitting there like average associates. He is personable and made friendly banter that made checkout even more enjoyable. I am sure he had a smile under his mask. It's great to have friendly interactions during these trying times. The selection is always great and the store is very organized and clean. You cannot beat the prices!

I think this location is a little bit smaller than the one on 7th Street in Frederick. The selection is still great, lots of organic and vegetarian options, I love the juice selection! Lots of juices with 1 or 2 ingredients. I like getting snacks here for my daughter's lunch because they're not filled with junk. It is definitely more expensive than other grocery stores, but they have so many healthy options.
