Her knowledge of the business helped us with the choices we had to make in the difficult for us time. The price was the best among the competitors. The outcome was amazing, quality and specially the portraits are the best I ever seen. The artist for the portraits is very talented. P.S. strongly advise to start your process early, everything takes time, but you'll be happy with the outcome.

I ask to see a picture she said they do not take pictures I said what if you guys make a mistake? She (Robin) said we do not make mistakes. After going back and forth over a few issues I got suspicious and call the cemetery to see if they had an application for my mother to have a tombstone placed on her grave and they did not. long story short As of today May 21st 2026 my mother's tombstone is still not there . All I get is one excuse after the other. I put in a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. ROBIN didn't respond to them. So I was instructed to get in touch with other agencies like Attorney General's office etc. which I am in the process of reaching out to them. This has cause me to be mentally and emotionally stressed out. I am trying to keep my composure. I cry a lot cause I'm so angry sleepless night. Most recently Sylvia and Sharlene were great as we laid my Uncle to rest. They were both so kind and patient dealing with last minute requests. It made such a terrible situation a little bit easier.

They barely covered the container let alone the casket. I tipped the limo driver in advance as per her instructions and give her the money but he ended up asking for an additional tip in front of your family. She didn't offer the additional money back. Of course the driver denied it. The worst was desecrating my father's body. She used a person unfamiliar with working with clients of color. She tried to light me into thinking it was the church lighting. Black people know what we look like in church with makeup! We ended closing the coffin early because he looks so unrecognizable. She's used person of European descent who was older, he did not provide a haircut and gave his mustache a 70s cowboy look even though we provided a picture. Sylvia had a picture of my dad post cosmetics to "prove" the quality. I of course declined. Who wants to see their father with skin glue on his lips and eyelids. Blotchy make up. No caps underneath the eyelids so he appeared to be squinting. It was a horrible experience. She states the funeral home works with a Haitian community, but that was obviously wrong . As a healthcare provider I am aware that the deceased don't resemble themselves but family and friends didn't know who that was lying in state. This is not my first funeral but this was by far the worst. She will make all sorts of excuses and offer no apology. The experience made me lean towards cremation, no viewing,no funeral home for my own final affairs.
