Review on Harmony Funeral Home located at - 2200 Clarendon Road Brooklyn, NY 11226 Due to the unfortunate passing of my Aunt this past June, my family and I immediately made appointments with four different Funeral homes in which we visited within one day. Our purpose obviously was to discuss prices and to view the facilities. Harmony Funeral Home happened to be the last on our list but had the BEST to offer. Although, it was a very long and stressful day, we were so happy that we kept our appointment to discuss the various Funeral packages that they provided. This is a new facility which is beautifully and tastefully decorated and most importantly well maintained. The rooms that the services were held in are very large and absolutely lovely. The rest rooms are immaculate and provide plenty of stalls and sinks to easily accommodate your guests. It was absolutely imperative to me to have parking provided to our guests. It is not fun driving around and around looking for parking when you are trying to pay your respects and or mourn a loved one's passing. This Funeral home provides valet parking on the day of your loved ones services. This in my opinion is a huge convenience and a service that is definitely on my must have list. Demetri and Alex worked with my family and me to stay within our budget and yet provide us with everything that we requested. Alisa provided all administrative needs down to the details of our loved one's hair, makeup and clothing. Thomas escorted the family to the final resting place and read a lovely poem at the end of the burial, which added a special touch while concluding the service. My family and I were one hundred percent happy with the services that were provided to us and I strongly recommend Harmony Funeral Home. My experience at harmony funeral home was beyond amazing I never knew making funeral arrangements to bury a love one can be so relaxing and at ease. I was given the contact number and address by a friend I also over heard radio soleil speak about them.From the time I called this funeral home I knew my search was over I didn't need to search anymore this was the place .The young lady that answered the phone was so nice I connected with her right away, she made me feel that my husband was just as important to her as he was to me.She answered every question and made me feel extremely comfortable.I made an appointment to come in later that day along with the rest of my family. When my family and I Walked in I couldn't believe it was a funeral home. It is beyond beautiful.It is the best funeral home I have ever seen. I was welcomed by ms.spencer she was so polite and professional, she took care of all my concerns. Everything I ask for I received,everything she promised me I received plus more. In a challenging period, I made excellent decisions. The facility was aesthetically pleasing, offering a welcoming atmosphere rather than the typical somber funeral environment. The staff's warm reception created a comforting, familiar ambiance. Each team member played a crucial role in the arrangements, executing their responsibilities flawlessly. My mother's prolonged illness resulted in significant weight loss and emaciation. Initially, I considered a closed casket to avoid distressing visitors. However, after consulting with cosmetologist Alicia, I agreed to a post-preparation viewing. The results were transformative; my mother appeared remarkably beautiful, exceeding my expectations. Her appearance was very much improved, it even reversed the effects of age. Alicia's attention to detail, including perfect makeup and expertly shaped eyebrows (a long-held wish of my mother's), was exceptional. The open casket allowed extended family to pay their final respects. I am profoundly grateful for the exceptional care and support provided to my mother, extended family, and me. My sincere appreciation goes to Adriian for his kindness and diligence in ensuring a seamless service. The cemetery director's thoughtful inclusion of my mother's favorite music and words of comfort, along with his patience, were deeply appreciated. I cannot praise Harmony Funeral Home enough for their professionalism and courtesy they extended to my family and I. To start, I went there to pre-plan for my mother who was becoming more ill and I was EXTREMELY nervous about the whole process. The facility looks so AMAZING!! It has a "RED CARPET" appearance!! I was impressed immediately!! I was so fortunate to have spoken to David because he was so understanding and took a step by step approach with me to help me make the best decisions for my mother's home coming services. My mother's passed away 2 days after our conversation. I was able to call Harmony and I spoke with Alisa who was such a sweetheart and very patient with me as I waited for family to come over to say their final goodbye's. Thomas and another gentlemen came to pick my mother up and they were so professional and gentle with my mother. I returned and spoke with David to finalize the paperwork. Alisa did a beautiful job on my mother!! My mom was so beautiful and everyone that saw her agreed!!! Let me tell you that if it was not for David and his PHENOMENOL staff I do not know how I would have made it through this process. Thomas recited a poem at the burial that made us all teary-eyed!! My husband was laid to rest in 2017. Because of the connection with Rev. Gilmore who performed the services on my precious mom five years before, I immediately contacted him for my husband. He was affiliated with Harmony Funeral Homes which was attentive to me needs and absolutely beautiful. Rev. Gilmore walked us through every moment and in the process of grieving, you want someone who is caring and understanding. He was all of that. The staff at Harmony Funeral Homes were accommodating and friendly. My beautiful brother died suddenly in April 2020 and we were all so devastated. Because of Covid, it was very hard to have his body released so that we could at least have a small ceremony. Rev. Gilmore knowing that we were all devastated and grieving, stepped in and helped to release his body and have a beautiful ceremony for him. He made the incident that happened more bearable with his knowledge and compassion. The Harmony Funeral Home is a wonderful Funeral Home in your time of need. Kudos to Harmony and Rev. Five stars all the way. I lost my mother during the height of the pandemic and amidst all of the grief, chaos, and confusion, Harmony Funeral Home made me feel at ease every step of the way. Compassion and understanding from each person I came into contact with. Unlike other funeral homes I visited before making a choice, Harmony did not allow the stress of the pandemic to impact their customer service. After choosing Harmony, my anxiety was handled with care by Dave. Daily texts and phone calls were responded to promptly. Delays caused by the pandemic, out of Harmony's control, were addressed and staff did their best to keep me informed. Dave was so caring and personable that months after my mom's service, I text him to wish him Happy Father's Day. It has taken me over six months to write a review. Bottom Line: I highly recommend Harmony Funeral Home!!! I hope I won't require the services of a funeral home anytime soon but if I do, it will be Harmony! read more

First of all, I never though I'd be writing a review for a funeral home. However, this place is definitely worth mentioning. My friend lost her mom and Alex at Harmony Funeral Home handled everything from A to Z. He and the staff are the reason why they are named the best funeral home. From the first meeting you can tell they genuinely care and want to make everything seamless. Alex went as far as giving us his personal cell number and telling us to call anytime. His knowledge of the process and what to expect next was remarkable. It's not often that you get such an amazing customer service. They were honest, sympathetic, and no one tried to up-sell or take advantage of us during this tragedy. If you ever face this type of tragedy, I highly recommend Harmony's funeral service.
