From the very beginning, they treated our sweet 2-year-old daughter, Lizzie, with so much dignity and love, and they guided us through every step of the process with patience and understanding. One of our biggest fears was not recognizing our little girl after she was prepared. We were terrified that she would not look like herself, and that thought weighed heavily on our hearts. But when we had our private family viewing, we were overwhelmed with relief and peace. Lizzie looked just like herself -- peaceful, beautiful, and so lovingly cared for. It meant more to us than words can truly express and gave our family a sense of comfort during an unimaginable moment. Every detail was handled thoughtfully, and every interaction reminded us that they genuinely cared about our daughter and our family. Their compassion, professionalism, and gentleness will never be forgotten. We are deeply grateful for the way they honored Lizzie's life and helped us through such heartbreaking days with so much grace.

An Exceptional Experience During One of Life's Most Difficult Moments…read more There truly are not enough stars or words to express my gratitude for Cherubini Funeral Home and the extraordinary care my family and I received during the passing of my grandmother. This was the first time in my life that I had been responsible for navigating final arrangements for someone I loved, and I entered this process grieving, overwhelmed, and unsure of what to expect. From the very beginning, Ruth, Josie, and the entire Cherubini family made what could have been an incredibly difficult and intimidating experience feel manageable, dignified, and deeply compassionate. Their attentiveness was remarkable. Their patience was unwavering. Their compassion was genuine. I never felt like another client, another family, or another transaction. I felt cared for. I felt heard. I felt protected. And most importantly, I felt like family. There were moments throughout this process when emotions and circumstances became difficult, and Ruth and Josie handled everything with such professionalism, grace, sensitivity, and understanding. They helped ease burdens that they probably never realized I was carrying. They answered my questions, guided me through unfamiliar territory, accommodated my needs, and continually reassured me that my grandmother would be treated with the dignity and respect she deserved. What touched me most was that they didn't know me from a can of paint when I walked through their doors. They had no obligation to care about me beyond providing a service...but they did. And you cannot manufacture that kind of compassion. It comes from the heart. Cherubini Funeral Home is family-owned, and after experiencing their care firsthand, I understand exactly what that means. The warmth, humanity, and sense of family are woven into the way they serve people. During a time when I desperately needed gentleness, they gave it freely. Choosing a funeral home for someone you love is an incredibly personal decision. Looking back, I am truly honored and grateful that Cherubini Funeral Home was placed in my path and entrusted with my grandmother's final arrangements. I could not have chosen better. To Ruth and Josie, thank you. Thank you for your kindness. Thank you for your patience. Thank you for your compassion. Thank you for your professionalism. Thank you for answering every question, calming concerns, and simply being there. And thank you for treating both my grandmother and me with dignity during a chapter of my life I will never forget. People often wait until someone is gone to give them their flowers. I want to give Cherubini Funeral Home, Ruth, Josie, and the entire family their flowers now. The work you do matters. The way you do it matters even more. You helped carry me through one of the hardest experiences of my life, and I will forever remember how you made me feel during a time when I needed compassion the most. From the bottom of my heart, thank you. I wholeheartedly and without hesitation recommend Cherubini Funeral Home to any family looking for compassionate, professional, respectful, and genuinely caring people to entrust with their loved one. Five stars simply aren't enough. Abundant Blessings Alethea Jones Andrews Granddaughter of Jonnie Jones

The facility is meticulously maintained and beautiful. Sadly, my Father in Law passed away on June 1, 2020. We live in Nevada now. My Father in Law was with us. We once again used Harmon in Staten Island as our Family plot is in Staten Island, New York. I worked directly with John LaGreca. He was extraordinary. He went above and beyond to make sure all the arrangements were taken care of so the Family didn't have to worry. He stayed in constant contact with me each step of the way. Losses like this are never easy but John relieved the Family of having to deal with all the arrangements that were necessary. My Father in Law was a veteran and John even made sure the Honor Guard conducted a service. John handled every detail perfectly. Pat Ledoux, at Harmon, was also wonderful. Very supportive, sensitive to us and so helpful. John, Pat and the whole Team at Harmon were amazing to work with. We are so appreciative to them all. Cant recommend Harmon Funeral highly enough. They made everything so easy for our Family. Absolutely five stars. Thank You Harmon! Mike S. Henderson, Nevada

My sisters, husband & brother in law and some of the staff sat in the conference room. Very unprofessional. Staff kept coming in and out and our whole process was continuously interrupted. Shawn even thought it would be a good idea to make a personal call while we were supposed to be making my mother's burial arrangements! Thankfully we didn't settle the financial aspect that day. We returned the following day and Compton (who was the first individual we dealt with the previous day) looked at us like he hadnt just seen/talked to us the day before. But it got worst -we received the same treatment from the owner Shawn. He had the nerve to justify his confused unprofessional treatment by telling my sister "I haven't eaten since Monday". My sister responded with "what do I care? I haven't seen my mother since Monday!" Why in the world would your eating/fasting schedule be relevant to a family grieving the loss of their mother?? The cost is cheap-but you get what you pay for. Despite the crappy service-we were eager to get our mother out of this place. And of course these crooks not only quickly brought her over from the hospital but insisted on charging us for moving her despite the crappy experience. Stay away from this place. Your deceased loved one & family members deserve so much better. We decided to go to Matthew Funeral Home and oh my goodness-what a difference!!
