Such a cold and uncaring Rabbi, it made the excruciating and awful experience even worse. The service by him was so impersonal and rushed, which wasn't even the bad part, he steered us wrong with the Shiva information, didn't bury properly, didn't recite and ran off in 10 minutes after barking orders. Business is business, but, if he wasn't trying to sell us something he was barking random information at us. He wouldn't know a Mitzvah if it slapped him in the face. It's like an impersonal conveyer belt. Give your loved one more respect that we got at this place. read more

It is hard to keep calm in the times of sorrow over the loss of a beloved family member. Our experience with Lisovetsky Memorial Home was superb. The staff was courteous and prompt, accommodating us on Friday late afternoon. The Funerary package was reasonably priced and included the wake, the burial at the cemetery, tips for the grave digging crew, the flowers, the temporary plaque, and rabbinical service. Prior to contacting them, we reached out to another, very popular funeral home in our community and they said that they were booked till February? What? Are you burying people or are you marrying people? How is this even possible? Our next call was to Lisovetsky and right away, we knew we were in good hands as they have clearly explained everything and handled it all from start to finish. We worked with Victoria, she is very compassionate, on point, and walked us through everything, giving helpful suggestions. It's a well-oiled machine, and the atmosphere is very calming. I have used the services of Lisovetsky memorial home in August of 2013 when my father past away. I took time in his final days to arrange everything before he passed away, so it was an easier process for me. Alla Lisovetsky, Funeral Director,indeed answers the phone herself, and her stuff is well trained and courteous. I was explained all options in advance, nobody tried to up-sale me with more expensive options. On the contrary, I got a discount for pre-arranging the service. What was most amazing is that the funeral was arranged in less that 24 hours (the fact that I pre-arranged it helped a lot!). My dad passed away on Thursday afternoon, and his burial took place on Friday morning. All paperwork was prepared in order and in no time, Death Certificate were issued as were supposed to. Second thing that made me pleasantly surprised, is that since I had to have Death Certificate notarized and apostatized to be accepted in the country other that the USA, i was given all the info on how to do it and was even handed a printed out directions of how to get to offices and save money in ordering the right paperwork. I am very thankful to Lisovetsky Memorial Home for making those very unpleasant moments of my life hassle-free. read more

It is a difficult time when someone passes. A lot to deal with. And your emotional state may be preventing you from rational decisions. When my father passed, I literally had no idea what to do. I called the number on their web site at 11:45pm, and owner answered. She setup an appointment for me next day, personally handled my case. This place handled everything. I brought documents, and they did everything themselves. They left me in control, but handled everything that I wished. Their facility offered private viewing area, a separate room for family. This is the most terrible experience I have ever witnessed. First problem that they had no tissues In the back of the room . Is it really that expensive to buy tissues ? Another thing it was extremely freezing in there. I know it's supposed to be cold but this was unbelievable absolutely ridiculous . And the most craziest thing they did was decided to close the coffin unannounced and the family was asking them why did they do that they said it was time . Okey I understand it was time but why don't you announce it 10 minutes before so everybody could say goodbye . This Family are not close to me but I felt really sad how the owners is so nasty and all about the money , I get it they need to do it fast to make 20k + in 2 hours that's fine. But at least have the decency to do it the right nobody's asking for special treatment . They basically take advantage of people who have lost a loved one in the family and absolutely can't think about anything else. Please don't use them and consider using someone else. read more

On September 2015 I ordered a monument for my moms grave. The only little think I could do to say thank you for being the best mom. I contacted the company named Lisovetski Stone Tributes (Owner Vadim Tsipenyuk) Part of Lisovetsky Memorial Home. We signed contract and I paid full $2650 for the monument. Monument was promised to be on place by Jan 6. After 3 month of talking nothing was done, I was advised to pay extra $300 as he explained that he doesn't care about a contract and that design I want im not able to use as portrait is 4 inches bigger than he planned to do, Of course in contract it says I can use any design any size and any style I want. He also stated that he needs another 3 month to deliver order. Moreover he was extremely rude and unprofessional. Please beware! I think there are some things that you cant make fun of and cant be unsatisfactory to the customers, especially when its about their loss. I contacted another company and they was able to deliver my order in 2 weeks! Amazing! 2 weeks and the monument was in place! Even with lower price ($2400)! Again im not the kind of person who ill write bad stuff even when someone is trying to rob me out of my hard earned money, but this type of experience puts shivers on my spine every time Im thinking about it. So here is my experience with Lisovetsky Stone Tribute and Vadim Tsipenyuk. At the end I contacted my CC and cancelled transaction as he refused to give refund too.
