The staff were exceptional from start to finish. A special thank you to Joe, who was outstanding. He was thoughtful, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to help our family. His calm presence and professionalism made a very challenging time much easier to navigate. During this very difficult time for our family, they were professional, compassionate, and incredibly supportive. They handled everything with discretion and care, and their experience was evident in the way Joe guided us through each step of the process. We had countless questions along the way, and Joe was always responsive, patient, and knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure we felt comfortable with every decision. We are deeply grateful for the care and respect they showed our family and highly recommend their services if needed.

Hands down he is a true professional. This was a difficult time for my family and I and Joe took care of every step. I could tell he has a lot of experience in the funeral industry. Any question I have he already has an answer for. Also, just as important, he is VERY organized, punctual and DOESN'T FORGET things that we requested. This is hard to find nowadays with all of these qualities. His planning was impeccable. I cannot stress how smooth everything went on the worst period in my life. I would give 10 stars if there was an option.

Everyone we worked with, Bruce, Pat, Jimmy, Mike, and others who I didn't get the names of, were extremely sympathetic throughout and we never felt pressured by them; they made sure the process was easy for us and that everything went smoothly during this difficult time. Communication was great and they always made us feel like we were priority even though they were working with multiple parties--I know they value each client and their service is phenomenal for everyone who chooses them. There's plenty of parking, clean restrooms, and just a comforting environment. My aunt who had attended funerals held by another funeral home who share the same space as Aievoli commented that this was by far a better experience. I will highly recommend Aievoli to anyone who will need funeral services in the future!

A close family friend recently passed away and McLaughlin & sons handled the transport to St Patrick's church and also to St Charles Cemetery ( there was no wake) The gentleman who served as Pall Bearers were just wonderful in every aspect. They took part in the Mass at both locations, and were also very gracious, kind, respectful, professional and, yes, personable. The staff at this funeral home really were helpful to my friends family during a very stressful time. So i felt the need to show a little Yelp recognition to a long time running Brooklyn establishment.

They barely covered the container let alone the casket. I tipped the limo driver in advance as per her instructions and give her the money but he ended up asking for an additional tip in front of your family. She didn't offer the additional money back. Of course the driver denied it. The worst was desecrating my father's body. She used a person unfamiliar with working with clients of color. She tried to light me into thinking it was the church lighting. Black people know what we look like in church with makeup! We ended closing the coffin early because he looks so unrecognizable. She's used person of European descent who was older, he did not provide a haircut and gave his mustache a 70s cowboy look even though we provided a picture. Sylvia had a picture of my dad post cosmetics to "prove" the quality. I of course declined. Who wants to see their father with skin glue on his lips and eyelids. Blotchy make up. As a healthcare provider I am aware that the deceased don't resemble themselves but family and friends didn't know who that was lying in state. This is not my first funeral but this was by far the worst. She will make all sorts of excuses and offer no apology. Side note, I am pretty sure it's free for solo people, but if you go with a large enough group, they have a $5 fee per person, which is reasonable. In general, I would recommend coming here in the fall, not just because the weather will be nicer, but also because the trees are beautiful, and winter is nice as well, due to the frozen lake, among other things. The spring is nice as well, but there are better places to see leaves in bloom, as there are more wintery shrubs here. The area is massive, and you could honestly spend many hours going to various corners. There are highlights such as a well-known view of the Statue of Liberty, many sculptures, and graves for people ranging from Samuel Morse to Boss Tweed to Leonard Bernstein to Louis Comfort Tiffany to Henry Chadwick, among others, along with many people from various wars, of course, such as the civil war with one particularly interesting grave having a confederate and union soldier next to each other for reasons. The place is particularly well-maintained compared to other cemeteries I have been to, with the entrance being striking among other things.
