Appreciated the honesty when first visit was told to wait another 6 months to allow more maturity for the young trees. Gave advice on where to tie them to direct growth. When called back out after trees really popped and got crazy, they were on time, careful with the surrounding plants, cleaned up the clippings well and were courteous. Felt price was reasonable. First: I didn't employ Walt's service; my neighbor used them to clean up their desert landscaping. Two day job and they appeared to work hard. I was waiting for them to finish and I was going to ask them for services on my yard. However, as they were finishing up my neighbors job, they used their leaf blower to blow literally every piece of remaining small debris from my neighbors yard out into the middle of the street and at some place completely across the street into mine and adjoining neighbors yard. Very unprofessional and inappropriate. To Walt's Tree service - you lost this customer before even getting the opportunity to earn the business. Walt sends his inexperienced workers. Birch tree is ruined from their winter trim. Branches appear ripped off, not a smooth cut. His workers also mistakenly removed 2/3 of my backyard tree hedge, leaving it unsightly. Walt took no responsibility. read more

Everything was itemized. There was no pressure for me to approve all what was quoted. I called the next day to set up a date/time for the work to be completed. He and his crew showed up on-time and the morning glories that completely took over the yard were removed. Walts services are just what we need. He and his staff have taken care of our trees for the past 7 years. The quality is much better than prior experiences with other tree services. We have a spanish pepper tree which can be huge and unruly. We were pleasantly surprised how thinned out and open the results were the first time he trimmed it. Neighbor's gardeners asked who trimmed it and said the trim was very good as those pepper tress are hard to look good. From the first contact with the owner, Sandy, to the Foreman Chris, I received nothing but great attitude and work ethic. Not once was there any laziness or rudeness, on top, they also had some of the most aggressive pricing on the market for the job at hand. I had a large, very invasive pepper tree in my front yard and we had just got a new driveway put in and the tree was a pest with all the sprouts and little bits that fell off the tree. I contacted Walt's via text yesterday evening, included a photo, and received a response in an hour saying I would have a firm written quote in the morning. 8 am today I opened the my front door happily surprised to see on my doorstep the quote! I received service within one day of calling for a quote. The price was three times less than five other quotes, the service was extremely fast and very efficient. Several very tall juniper trees in a very narrow space between two apartment building were completely removed, hauled and the area cleaned up. We have a huge magnolia tree (that I love), the roots were so raised in some parts you couldn't open a car door if you parked in the street. Nice guys reasonable prices. Had a tree removed and a strawberry tree planted. The first crew came out and had to the tree removed in about 12 minutes.
