Where do I start over this type of treatment that we've never experienced by any other business before in our lives...This man is the rudest most arrogant old man I have ever met! I had him tow my vehicle to my home which should have been easy money for him. After all, I was paying him to work for me, not the other way around , which his arrogant behavior made me think he thought otherwise. It was explained to him over and over again that I would let him know where to drop the towed vehicle at our residence ( I also told him it was a very tight fit and I would let him know where we wanted it.) I repeated myself about this several times to him only because wherever he dropped it was where it would have to stay until it is fixed due to the front Axel being broken. I even told him that I was doing some things in town and I was worried that I wouldn't make it to my house before he got there with My Towed vehicle. He also knew that I had things I had to do while I was in town before I went home ( which is outside of crawfordsville) but never once offered to wait thirty minutes before he left or to ask me how long I'd be ... etc. etc. He was very condescending and and i don't know how he is even in business this long by the way he treats his customers. Either I caught him on a bad day or he's just arrogant and inconsiderate to the ones he's already getting paid for by insurance. It's like he didn't care or listen to anything i said to him before the drop off of my vehicle. I have a double paved Drive way on a dead end street , so why he thought it was ok to drop our tow off right in front of my garage door is beyond me!! He knew that there was a specific place I wanted it dropped off at at my residence, so why he refused to call my cell phone beforehand to be sure is absolutely disrespectful and rude in so many ways. Yes, Completely inconsiderate and rude is the only reason I can think of for this kind of behavior to a paying customer. A Good Towing Business ,who cares about their customers, do not drop a vehicle off in front of their
Customers garage doors and leave because no one was there to GREET Them! Come on! He was told over and over that I had other obligations and I might not make it back in time. He also was told over and over that I wanted it dropped in a specific area at our residence. But instead , he went as quickly as he could to our home and dropped it right in front of our garage door so no one can get into our garage now until it is fixed because it's unmovable. ( and he was well aware of this). I think that some businesses get too high and mighty after years of being in the community that they become un empathetic & a disregard to pleasing their customers. They then become more interested in the money and their own selves. When someone calls for a tow and specifies that they want it dropped in a certain area at their residence and that they are worried they won't make it to there house in time , then please be a little considerate, and call them at least, before you drop it at any old place that is most convenient for yourself rather than what would be most convenient to the customer who already paid for rude unprofessional services... Thanks for causing our family" more "severe problems because we are now unable to pull into our garage which is very crucial for us to be able to do due to chronic conditions we have. Even when I called him to ask him why he didn't call me ,like I ask him to , since I specifically told him I wanted it dropped in an area out of our way and that when he got there to call me , he replied to me very arrogantly, that he parked right in front of our garage doors. I then told him that it was very important for us to get into our garage with our other vehicles and now he had made that impossible for us. Once again he said nothing! Maybe he has some kind of hearing problem and if so I apologize, but if he was just not answering ... PLEASE take my advice and go to Wilson's or anywhere else other than this place. Unless maybe , you don't mind being unheard & invisible to the people you are hiring to do work for you. A simple apology or an offer to come back and fix the problem and to put the vehicle where the customer wanted it to begin with would've been a better outcome of this horrendous situation rather than a complete disregard of what your customer said and then to beat it all , he actually hung up on me as if he was letting me know that nothing I said was of any importance to him because he was big time Walt! All I have to say is show a little more empathy and compassion toward your customers. They are paying you for a job to be done the way they want , not the other way around. Get off your high horse and step back into reality , it might make you feel better to care about someone else's feelings before your own for a change...you never know. read more
