Not necessary at all over something we had already paid for. Claims we will get a credit on our account but we will not be back after this experience.

Note: they are only 5 mins from my house. So I called a different vet, Grant's Lick Animal Hospital, and they told me to bring her right away even though she'd never been seen there before. She wound up with 4 staples and they wound up with a new lifetime customer, a dog mom of 3. I'd give Zero stars of that were an option right now, I have never heard of a vet's office that wouldn't just look at a pet to make sure they're stable enough to make the journey to somewhere like Med Vet.
