Diesel $5.19 Ethanol Free 93 Octane $4.59 Regular 87 Octane $3.59 Plus 89 Octane $3.89 Super 93 Octane $4.19 The biggest gripe I have with this place is that there's no provision to clean your windshield while fueling up. This and the fact that there's always a ton of people inside (like everyone just left the Magic Kingdom and has come here before going home. ‍ ), is why I rarely stop here. There are plenty of food / snack options as well as drinks. The bathrooms are huge and clean. If you've never been here, you should visit and draw your own conclusions.

The stretch farther east, between Statesboro and Savannah, is better because it has a relatively new QuikTrip. This Love's has 12 standard pumps and doubles as a truck stop. There's a Chester's Chicken and Subway on site. The restaurants and convenience store are open 24/7. This is Love's Store #320 and it's located about halfway in between Atlanta and Savannah at I-16 Exit 49: SR 257 - Dublin, Dexter.

Right after we noticed it, our phones gave us a touch-down warning about a quarter mile away from us -- probably closer. We took the first exit, pulled into a gas station, pulled the baby from her carseat, and I threw my 12 year old daughter, who cannot walk, over my shoulder. I'm talking this happened so fast that my children didn't have time to put their shoes on. We ran into the back and hid in the bathroom. Lights flickering, the building's creaking, I mean this feels like a horror movie. The power went out, and Penny, who was working at the store, screamed "No customers in the store when the power is out, you have to leave." We were not the only family with children in the store, there were other parents with small children. Someone said "There is literally a tornado right outside and there are children in here." She said, "I said get out, no customers in the store when the power is out, boss's orders." I said, "I have a baby and a child who cannot walk." And she just looked at me and held the door open. All of my children were sobbing. She watched me carry my hysterical daughter back out to the car in storm conditions so severe I could barely walk without even an ounce of sympathy. We got back on the interstate to another tornado warning -- this is when I took the screenshot of my maps below. Drove for 10 minutes with tornadoes on either side of us. Literally could not see the road in front of us. We finally found an exit and ran into mcdonalds. It has since passed, we are safe. My kids have calmed down and are eating chicken nuggets. I cannot stop shaking and my heart is probably going to race for the rest of the night. But mostly, I cannot believe the audacity of this store, sending children out into terrifying conditions because of "policy". This is the gas station. Marathon on Sgoda Rd in Dry Branch, GA. Figured people who are more local to them would like to know how much they care about their customers. So Penny, I guess thanks for giving my kids a nice traumatic experience and a new fear of storms. I'm glad your fear for someone stealing store merchandise is greater than your compassion for my children's lives. Frankly, I would've told my boss to kiss my ass and kept those kids safe.

Just a few minutes ago we had one of the most pleasant gas and restroom stops. The experience was…read moreduring travels in Georgia. We do travel a lot. We are traveling with our three grandchildren. After leaving Savannah to go toward Macon, we were traveling on I-16 where there are too many miles between gas stations and convenience stores. Our youngest traveler needed to use the restroom badly. Suddenly, Exit-71 was there with a Chevron gas station and convenience store. I followed my wife and three kids into the convenience store. We were greeted by a woman with one of the friendliest faces and beautiful smiles one could hope to meet during travels. Sandra, the employee behind the counter, smiled at our family and said, "Good morning". My first thought was that she saw our desperation, and like a flight attendant she pointed us in the right directions with "Women's room this way, Men's room this way". Then, as I waited in the store for our two boys who were in the restroom, I saw that she greeted everyone as they entered the convenience store. The convenience store seemed so clean and orderly. I checked to make sure that our boys left the restroom clean. The restroom was very clean. My wife said that the women's restroom was also very clean. I talked with Sandra for a few minutes. She told me that she treats the store as if it is her personal home, and we are her guests. If someone came to visit her at her home, the first thing that she would do is to make the guest feel welcome and tell them, "Restroom is that way and the fridge is that way". When I like someone's refreshing personality, I comment to my wife, "I would have coffee with that person". I would have coffee with Sandra. What a unique, fresh personality. I recommend 100%, a refreshing stop at the Chevron, Exit 71 on I-16 between Macon, and Savannah.
