Saturday, 12/28, I visited twice (late morning and mid afternoon) while passing by the area on a long road trip. The restrooms were spacious and available. The entire site was an eyesore for trash, unfortunately. The trash cans at the pump were full, the trash cans at the entrance were jam packed with litter on the sidewalk, and the men's restroom was similar with full trash, paper towel debris on the floor and in the sinks. Coffee was well priced and decent! Hopefully, this was just a staffing issue and increased holiday travelers that was a rare depiction of the site's cleanliness.

There is one kitchen employee we have not had any troubles with ordering ,but that is it. We buy a pizza here at least once every two weeks because it is good pizza for a good price but we often wait 2-3 times longer trying to get staff to take our order for pizza than it does to cook the pizza and checkout.

I've stopped at a many Pilot Travel Centers across this land and I must say most are dirty and…read moregrungy, it's tough out here on the road and nothing comes easy as you burn up the blacktop, whether you have eighteen wheels or two these travel centers are popular. Cars and Bikers out front jockeying to get a spot at the pumps, the diesel rigs out back, the truckers like it that way, just ask them four wheelers are a distraction, a pain in the ass and are nothing more than rookies behind the wheel. The locals use this place as a convenient store, some of their mommas work here, they step out the front door to sneak a smoke and they'll tell you "I'll be right in hun" - this place turns and burns and there ain't much time to take a break so excuse the butts on the ground, some twisted and smashed some still have a ember and the homeless pray they find it before it gets snuffed out, they hit is while digging through the trash looking for a empty aluminum can or a half eaten honey bun. My rigs hold a little over one hundred gallons so I have time to people watch and see poverty first hand. I don't feel anything but empathy for those that struggle and I never judge those that are less fortunate. I think most are doing the best they can in the situation they're in even though some are living with a history of bad decisions we rather know what landed them here. They don't scare me and I don't look down on this percentage of our population, I help them out when I can and if I'm honest when can't I help them out? - it's my choice, so judge me on my actions instead of judging them on their situation. The pump nozzle just kicked out, my break from the road comes to an end and I know I may never pass this way again. I hope I made a positive impact, my payment at the pump is an invisible contribution to a cause I may or may not knowingly support. I didn't go inside so I don't know if the restrooms are clean or dirty, I didn't interact with the staff so I can't comment on the level of service - this place did provide me a place to see a little piece of the world today and I'm thankful for that. I'm committing to paying it forward - all of us can spare some pocket change so leave some on the edge of the trash bin, on top of the pump or on the curb, we'll all be better for it. I only come here on the way home to ATL from Sav. If you're going to Sav from ATL with a full tank…read moreof gas... on the way home, you'll need to fill up in Dublin. This BP I like coming to because there are several gas pumps & out in open. It's also next to Mickey D's - super easy way to see where BP is. It does help I can pick up a quick ice cream cone from Micky D's. Haha. Service inside is fine. Haven't had any trouble at all.
