Been coming to this theater for 15 years and it's sad to see its decline. I know movie theaters in…read moregeneral have struggled since COVID so trying to keep that in mind. Unfortunately, our issue also dealt with the staff not just the state of the theater itself. This was so nice when it opened in 2010! It was one of the first theaters in Missouri to launch with 100% digital projection screens and known for its luxury reclining leather seats. Sadly now, pretty much every theater has ripped seats and the bathrooms are unkept every time we visit. I've just watched the theater deteriorate over the years with no new additions or upkeep. They still have a space for private parties and events but I've yet to see anyone book this room with a bar. In this specific experience, we got a combo with a refillable drink and popcorn. During the movie, I went to the front counter to find an employee for a refill and there was no one to be found. I was missing the movie, waiting for at least 10 minutes at the concession counter and could see into a back room so I said, "hello," several times. A man, a customer, viewing another movie walked up to the concession counter and I explained I'd been waiting and there were no employees to be found. I didn't want to keep missing the movie so I went back to the movie without any refill. I really hope the movie theater owners consider renovating a little bit especially because of their investment in the new apartment complex being built directly next door to the theater. The apartments will have brand new mixed use space available for businesses to come in which people will probably visit before or after a movie. I've met the movie theater owners several times and they never seem to be physically present at their actual existing business. Higher expectations for a business in Wildwood!

Fix the seats! I love this small hometown movie theater but please invest in new seats. Some do not…read morework and others are grimy. The staff is always great and they offer retro films, blockbusters, and throwbacks. It's easy to join their rewards program. It's hard to just walk in and check in for your film. You have to provide your card or phone number you pre-purchased your tickets with instead of simple scan and go. I do not like the popcorn of b&b but they get the most interesting candy/drink options not at some other chains. I love that they have adult beverages for purchase and a coca-Cola freestyle drink machine. For accessibility they have great parking and the screens of the theatres are not directly in your face. If you sit in the recliner chair, wipe it down, then adjust to your needs to enjoy your film.

I came here to watch Hadestown because it had the earliest showing out of all of the theaters…read morenearest to me. So charming! I love the art deco lamps and style that was sprinkled throughout the building, but especially in the actually theater room. It was nice to watching jazz sad songs and looking over at the deco lamps faintly glowing - such a vibe! The theater I was in was also small (Dreamlounger), so I think it's great spot of solo movie dates. My husband and I don't have the same taste in films, so I found these much better than the larger theater rooms. I hope to watch Six the Musical here if that's an option! Note: I think staffing shortages are hitting all movie theaters because even if you have a ticket already, you still need to check in with the Box Office. Oh - also, there is so much parking!

Go to the theater!…read more For a date night, the spouse and I treated ourselves to a double header back to back movie night. We played arcade games (could use a few more). Had some cocktails (ask about the specials). Ordered some foods and later came back for popcorn and candy. I will say their brand of popcorn and "butter" is way better than b&b theatre. Yes this trip was costly, but we had some gift cards. We should all be able to enjoy ourselves and have a good time without fearing the price tag every once in awhile. This location is widely accessible and even has an elevator for the big screen.

Walked to the movie theater - and the movie was already going. No previews! The movie cut off about 29 min in, but they were quick to make an announcement to say sorry for the inconvenience and got it started again with five minutes. On 100-degree day, the air conditioning was FANTASTIC - but not overly cold that I needed a jacket. The seats were COMFY. The floor wasn't sticky. The bathrooms were clean. And the girls cleaning up the theater were laughing while they worked together. I told my husband we should just drive the 45 minutes to Union whenever we want to see a movie from now on.

Someone once said "time is money", well this place is all about taking your time. After the 4th commercial for Purina dog chow about 10 minutes after the "movie" was supposed to start, I was in utter disbelief, but little did I know that we weren't even half way through the 27 minutes of commercials and previews. Unbelievable. However, if you do not get enough commercials watching television at home this is the place for you. I nor my family falls into that category. Voting with my wallet and my feet and going elsewhere next time.
