Bought tickets online for a 2pm matinee of Elvis on a Saturday. Walked in at 2:02pm. Walked to the movie theater - and the movie was already going. No previews! The movie cut off about 29 min in, but they were quick to make an announcement to say sorry for the inconvenience and got it started again with five minutes. On 100-degree day, the air conditioning was FANTASTIC - but not overly cold that I needed a jacket. The seats were COMFY. The floor wasn't sticky. The bathrooms were clean. And the girls cleaning up the theater were laughing while they worked together. I told my husband we should just drive the 45 minutes to Union whenever we want to see a movie from now on.

Someone once said "time is money", well this place is all about taking your time. After the 4th commercial for Purina dog chow about 10 minutes after the "movie" was supposed to start, I was in utter disbelief, but little did I know that we weren't even half way through the 27 minutes of commercials and previews. Unbelievable. However, if you do not get enough commercials watching television at home this is the place for you. I nor my family falls into that category. Voting with my wallet and my feet and going elsewhere next time.

Seen a movie last nite Dec. 29, 2025 at this place . Have been here a few times. Nice place, nice…read moreemployees, very clean. Husband and I witness an issue last night. We both could not believe what went on with a female adult and her 4 children! This mother / care taker in her 40's brought 4 children into this movie rated "R" told them standing in front of us ( we're in our seats at this time ) "ok" go to the end of our roll (F) u have the last 4 seats. Their ages were 8-14 2 young boys no coats no jackets wearing shorts. Neither of these boys were above the age 10. The girls the same no coats ages 12-14 one had a blanket. She walked with the kids to their seats. Stood there seated them , while she stood looking toward the entrance to #5 theater. She dished out the popcorn to them. Then stated to them "ok" I gotta go ! She was gone !!!! I was in total shock. As they walked by us directly in front of us...I told my husband "This is not a movie for anyone under 18"! It's R rated. These kids never once moved at all. The movie was " The Housemaid"! Lots of sex and blood. Adult minds are very different than an 8 year old mind. Why would any mother / care taker drop these kids off at this movie ? They were 100% dropped off, I watched them wait for whoever to pick them up ! She was late too! We waited purposely to witness this. I understand we all parent differently. The bigger ? Here is Why was this allowed in this theater at an "R" rated show ?????? What is your policy ? In a place of business This Business is completely responsible for these underage children being dropped off and placed in a theater by themselves. R rated movies should be monitored more than what we witnessed for a 2 hour movie...

Such a great nostalgic filled night! We love they are keeping this going and you really can't beat…read more2 movies for the price and snacks weren't bad either. We got there early and got a really good spot and our daughter played on the playground which was a bonus! We ordered Chinese which was walking distance in the plaza with schnucks next door and brought some things from home as well. Can't wait to go back!

This was our second visit to Skyview, and it was as good as our first visit, last Spring…read more Surprisingly difficult information to locate beforehand is that Skyview is a Cash admittance business. While it is not plainly posted on their website, it is prominently displayed at their entrance. So... bring ample cash to cover your party's admission. The physical setup is dialed in, parking is organized by "white" spaces for regular sized cars and "orange" marked ones for bigger vehicles, like vans. You're told which to use at admission, and this ensures everyone's view of the screen is unobstructed. The movie itself started on time, the quality of the projection and audio were also great. We brought our foods this time so I can't comment on the food stand. Our family of 7, really appreciated Skyview's "kids night," as all kids under 12 had free admission. For $20 ($10 per adult), we were able to take our family to this newly released kid's movie. What a bargain... practically unheard of in these times! Combine that with their renovated playground and it's really unmatched anywhere else. Most attendees were respectful of others, though I did see a strong usher presence at the ready, so that may have helped! Skyview is a gem, definitely worth the visit and particularly so on family night if you've got a load of kids!
