Paved and off flat trail options throughout. Plenty of parking, benches, bathrooms and natural serenity. Quiet and uncrowded on this beautiful Sunday. Great for walks, biking, kayaking, picnics, nature photography and simple relaxing. Will definitely return. No cost to enter.

Time to walk it all off LOL what a view

Walsingham Park is a great park with a fantastic dog park...There is so much to do at this park. Great trails to walk and you can take your kayak or canoe and paddle around the lake. Lots of wild life to see, a nice playground for the kids, and tons of picnic areas make this a beautiful spot to relax for the day. Great for picnics you can also use you bicycle around the trails. I even saw a police presence driving around the park which always a good thing on nature trails especially for the ladies to feel safe.

There is a great 5 K Trail here. It will take you through a wooded area and around a small lake. There is a dog park for small and large dogs. There is a playground for children and it is well shaded. There is not much traffic in the park so it is conducive to cycling through the park and on the trail around the park. There is plenty of parking throughout the park. I always feel safe when I am walking at this park because there are a lot of open spaces and plenty of people.

I have always loved this park , due to how big it is . They have tons of trails that wrap around the park. If you like to run in trails this would be one park I would suggest due to the variety of trails. We have mostly gone here for pier fishing since we do not own a boat but today we decided to tag along with his brother that does and let me tell you it is a different view from a boat. You get to see how big the pro really is and how beautiful it is . I love fishing here because you are always challenged in what you can catch, may it be Minos to large mouth black bass. We always go for the sun fish to catch to get the bass. There are a lot of wild life, if you like them from turtles to gators. The park can get busy when it is summer time and you have to watch what's around you when you fish so you do not hot anyone who is walking up to see what your up to. I would say I would wish that they would take care of the overgrown of the lily pads and see grass it makes it difficult to fish from the pier. I love the park in general because it has a variety of what you can do. I love the openness of the park and how you can do what ever you want . Ride your bike, fish, picnic, throw a get together, run, and walk around. The park is very safe and I love being in it. At closing they do kick you out of the park so your not there when it's dark. They do close the gate, so if your a night runner it is not the park for you. Overall it is family friendly place to be .

My dog loves the park, but the people are extremely homophobic. Makes for a drag of a visit for me, though my pup has fun.

Several of her family members and her five (5!) children. It is a beautiful place, well laid out, plenty of parking, gorgeous views and dedicated to all veterans, so a special meaning for me as a veteran. With beautiful, covered areas for grilling and eating, lots of paths for walking, jogging, and dog walking. A huge playground for children, which made for hours of fun for the kids. Plenty of parking all around the lake. A nice dock for feeding the ducks and fish, not sure if they allow fishing or not. A nice workout area with lots of different exercise equipment. Plenty of war memorials for veterans and families of veterans. Several areas of names of local veterans that served. And really nice and clean restrooms for after a couple bottles of water. Most impressive though was the placement of a combat jet lifted high in the air. A beautiful and thoroughly enjoyable park nestled right off a main road. Just watch the GPS carefully, it's a small road leading in. We missed it but the jet caught our attention and we turned about.
