I used to go here faithfully . Got to the point where I knew most of the staff until I ran into the owners MOTHERS . My parents raised me to be respectful , however it took everything in me to lose that respect . She talks to ppl like she's their mother and very rude . I've never had any issues until I ran into this wicked lady . You can tell the staff are scared of her because of how she is. Not to mention all the good dryers are taken for drop off only . I'm officially done. FYI this is not the 1st time this lady approached me . This is actually the 2nd time . Last weekend as I was there she took my stuff out of washer and I told her ma'am I have it I am here . I was sitting in front of establish me . I asked to allow me to take my belonging out and she told me GO FIND A DRYER. This lady was not nice about her deliverance so . Not sure how the owner can make an excuse for it . I have been here a few times over the past 8 years. On the plus side, they upgraded the washers and have many more front-loading​ washers. On the downside​, the owner can be a little grumpy. He came up to me and noticed that I was using one of the washing machines for a dog bed and gave me a lecture that I would have to clean and wipe down the machine after I was done. Not quite the warm and friendly feedback I was hoping for. With the exception of the newer machines, I get the sense of being in a way back machine to the 80's with the tv shows​ blaring, magazines scattered about and locals in a fog. It seems a little cliquey too and for me, I just felt like an outsider. read more

Horrible customer service...old miserable man sleeping when I came in..I joked that he was sleeping, he yapped back "I was not sleeping!" then he lectured me on how to do laundry saying that the machines were not made for filling and could only be half filled. This was a way to get me spend more money and to use more machines, he then lectured me putting in soap, and said this is not Bubbles in Norwood, we do things different here. I took my clothes out of the machine and put them back into my bags and abruptly left, the guy behind me who the old miserable guy was making gestures to me about, said he's leaving..this miserable person said I don't care, let him..I will never go back to this place..I did my laundry there, and gave them the benefit of the doubt after they damaged my clothes years ago when I broke my ankle and the owner Diane also had an attitude. I was desperate after my usual place had a fire. I found another place...Bubbles in West Roxbury, where the people that work there are kind and professional. I would have given this place even less than one star..read others reviews and stay clear of this place..they are unprofessional, and try to force you to spend more money than you have to , it starts from the top as the owner Diane is rude and argumentative as well and sets the tone for her "employee" working...I mean sleeping there. read more

I am new to walpole and was horrified by all the negative reviews of Laundromats in the area. I took a chance here as they were not dinged by cleanliness thinking I'd rather be watched and perhaps screamed at than come home with bedbugs. The gent greeted me warmly, offered immediate assistance as it was clear i didn't know how to get started. All the machines worked as they should have. I inadvertently put too much detergent into the washer and the owner, who was lovely, recognized the error and bailed me out of a jam. Twice. This place is busy, friendly and clean. Even the ladies' room was spotless. I'll be back next week! read more

This was a great experience. I was overwhelmed by the amount of laundry piled up and two tired old laundry machines. I dropped of two trash bags at 1:00 in the afternoon for the wash and fold service, which was done by 7 pm the same day. Everything looked and smelled so neat and clean. They even hung up my pajamas! The friendly service at both the drop off and pick was superb! I'll be back with blankets and tablecloths. This isn't a service I'd use every day, I just needed to get caught up, and im so glad I found this place. Thank you! read more

I would like to share my experience with the "gentleman?" who micromanages the Walpole Landerette. He informed me in the most unprofessional way that I was overloading my very large washer and I would be responsible for the washer if it breaks. I told him I did not like the tone in which he spoke to me and I would appreciate it he would not speak to me in such a rude way. His answer to me was: "I speak to everyone this way" and I said, "I know you do, but you don't speak to me in this tone, got it?" He then proceeded to say "don't come back here to do your laundry again?" Repeat customers will not tolerate his impolite, arrogant, mean, bully tone. Unacceptable behavior is not to be tolerated by any person who treats customers this way. Horrible customer experience. read more

I've been coming weekly since I moved to the area. The place is clean, the owner is friendly... and most importantly all the machines work, and work efficiently. I can be in and out within an hour. I've only done self service, but everyone walking in and out with drop offs/pickups seem happy. Most times the tv is on with family friendly shows and there's plenty of magazines while you wait... and better yet, you're close to grocery/restaurants/CVS and more if you have other errands you want to try and get done! read more

the man who works in this laundry is very rude man, I was putting the clothes in the machine he shouted in front of other people that I ruined the machine, the machine wasn't even full, I still had room for more than 10 pieces of clothing, he was rude, and stands behind customers looking at people doing laundry, the dryers are bad, they take the money and do not dry the clothes. read more

This is my very first time using a public laundry place so i was a bit nervous to use it LoL. Coming in, the place is bright with plenty of natural light coming in, they have a staff on duty for laundry drop-ins and to keep everything organized. I always have this picture in my mind from watching too many movies with getto laundry places with people who might steal your precious undies. This place changed that perception and of course Yelp helped me decide also which ones to go to especially that i'm not a local of this place. They have a change machine and detergent, fabric softener, and laundry bag machines too. The place was not crowded like what i've pictured and they have a place for magazines and books to read and tv if you just want to chill inside while waiting for your stuff to get done. It's near CVS pharmacy and food places if you want to spend your time elsewhere. Overall, this was a good experience for me :-) read more

Saturday, I was doing some spring cleaning and decided to wash a bunch of linens. Normally, I would go to this place right by my boyfriend's house in Norwood, but some weirdos like to steal clothing there. For instance, someone stole my boyfriend's favorite worn-in basketball shorts that were well over 10 years old! I'm convinced that people will steal your clothes, not because they like or necessarily want them, but simply because they can. Therefore, that place was out of the running. That brings me to Walpole Launderette. The location is really convenient, just a few more minutes than the other previously mentioned. Their final wash is at 7:30 (the only reason bf skips over this location). The location is nice, and there's an on-duty employee. They also have a laundry cleaning service which we may take advantage of in the future, it seems like they'll wash your laundry for about $10 more than it would cost you to do one load yourself. The place was pretty empty on a Saturday afternoon, and I was able to walk over to CVS and get some shopping done while I waited. We'll definitely return here in the future. read more

Why was the only correct review not recommended by Yelp!?!? He is 100% right it's filthy the staff is rude. I will most likely go rewash the 20$ worth of laundry because the grime that is caked on these machines is pretty bad. It all goes into your wash and the owner saw the sludge going into the clothes and said it's too much work to open the window in the machine to clean it. Which I wiped from another machine with a paper towel to show. He then says he doesn't think the baby blankets will "look" dirty. I don't care if there's no skid marks from your machines!! I care if you let disgusting dirt and grime build up in your machine and let my baby's blankets wipe your crap machine down. This was my second time attempting to use this place for drop off service and I was surprised at the level of service I was given by the older male worker. I had arrived at about 4PM or so to utilize their "drop off service" but was confused to discover that I will be unable to drop off my laundry for wash and fold service. The worker mentioned to me to come back tomorrow to drop off my laundry before 9-2 or 4-7 and that was all he said in an annoyed manner. I understand the time was early evening and that the laundry will not be cleaned until the following day at their convenience but what I did not understand was the unwillingness of this worker to even accept the laundry and set it aside for the service to be done the following morning. He ignored my questions following his comment of me not being able to leave the laundry and would not explain why. I would have been more understanding with a reasonable excuse or even approach from the worker but even that was too much to ask for. I will be sure to bring my laundry elsewhere following this erratic issue from Walpole Launderette. read more

My washing machine broke on a Sunday and I needed something in a pinch, paul at walpole Launderette went above and beyond with SAME DAY service, to me that was unheard of and I couldn't have been happier! He was very friendly and the place appeared to be much cleaner than other laundromats I've seen. I was even more impressed when we went to pick up, everything was folded nicely and separated into different age/categories, some stuff was even hung up. I almost wish I could make this a regular thing, If I need a laundry service in the future I will definitely return. read more
