I went to tiptop auto my car was overheating and I needed a diagnostic on what the problem is…read more They said it would be $140 for the diagnosis when I went to pick up the and find out what the diagnosis was. They said it was the cooling fan that needed to be replaced. I know how to do some basic repairs I decided to replace the cooling fan myself after replacing the engine is still overheating even with the fan working. At first the fan wasn't working so it would not cool the radiator fan so I if that was the issue now that the fan is working and cooling I'm not or somethings wrong with still heating up. I asked him to re-diagnosis and instead of re-diagnosing they just gave me my money back and sent me to another shop 20 miles away left me on my own to figure it out cause I'm I can't move my car more than 2 miles with the overheating. I would not recommend the shop at all to anybody and they were gonna overcharge me $600 to put in a fan that only cost 200 and the labor shouldn't be any more than 200.

The…read morereceptionist forgot to order my parts when she was supposed to and they kept telling me days it would be ready and they ended up keeping it for 4 weeks and nothing got worked on, on top of that they had said my part was gonna cost around $600 dollars and said it was all gonna come out to about 3,000 dollars and that included labor as well. When I asked them why it was gonna cost that much they said it was because the part was a little more than they thought but was still around $600 for the part and couldn't tell me still why it was adding up to almost 3,000 dollars. I got a quote at Honda what it would be to fix my car and they gave me a quote for 1,000 for labor and part. Don't take your car here if you want to wait weeks on end and spend 2,000 dollars for labor.

Our pups & daughter couldn't take it, and it was late so had to stay at a hotel. Next day I took it to a place who let us know we needed a new AC Compressor, but they didn't have it in stock. They recommended a nearby dealership who when I went to it they told me they could do the job and had my car all day. End of the day said they couldn't do it. I was in full panic mode and called tire mountain & auto on a whim and explained my situation. I knew they were closed weekends per their website & also it was so late in the day. I was listened to, and told definitely Monday it could be done. But we had to get home. I thanked them & went to find cooling mats & portable fans to try to make the drive. A couple hours later my phone rang and it was the owner I had spoken to earlier. He called to let me know he had 2 guys willing to come in on their day off, so they could get us on the road. AMAZING owners, service, and boy is our car cold! They didn't jack up the price, which they easily could have. Forever grateful for the kindness of a stranger. I'd 1000% recommend this business! Neither of which is true, this place is trying to scam people into paying for services not needed. I would highly suggest getting a second opinion on anything they tell you or simply not using this business at all.
