It blends right into the other small antique shops on Partition St, as they have a large collection of decorative iron hooks and door knockers outside when they're open. They also have other antiques available inside. The shop is run 100% by the couple that owns it, and they do all the framing themselves. I brought them probably 5-10 items these last few weeks and they were very helpful in picking out frames. Prices were very fair, and they were able to find solutions when what we picked turned out to be too expensive. Everything was done within a reasonable amount of time as well. I don't have much time else left to frame, however I will go out of my way to use these guys again!

Laura took the time to help me consider the matting choices I had, and listened to my concerns. She took all the time I needed, explained her process, and suggested different products that may help, and why. She underpromised (material delivery might have been an issue) and over delivered as far as when my framed painting was ready. I got it in time for my husband's Christmas gift, and he was delighted! The color of the mat complements the painting perfectly, as it does our home. Gilded Moon is also beautiful to visit. It showcases art while using it as framing examples - so many possibilities. They had a variety of items--jewelry, souvenirs, framed prints of artwork, comics, maps, and something I found particularly unique: framed book spines. Although we were initially on the fence about purchasing an art print, we ended up getting that along with some of the framed book spines. We recently returned to the area and decided to stop by again. This time, the owner was there, and he was just as friendly and helpful. A few years back, some coworkers had given me a gift certificate for the store after I told them about it. I had completely lost track of it, but the owner called his wife to see if she could locate any record of it--and within 10 minutes, they found it!
