Each wash takes about 5-10 minutes and sometimes there is a little bit of a line to contend with. Prices seem reasonable. Bonus tip- the car wash is 50% off on Mondays. Give this place a try!

I also found out I could redeem my PC optimum points for a free car wash (any type for 10k points). I'm not sure if you can do the redemption at the pump or if it's only inside the store. You get a $2 off any car wash when you get gas. And you can add the car wash option at the pump. Without the discount the basic car wash starts at $13.99 or $15.99. I remembered it being quite steep. The price chart is available at the cashier and I forgot to take a picture of that. The wash is pretty good and I can see the dust and grime being washed away by the high pressured water. I think the front of my car is cleaner than the rest. I've gotten gas here before and it's quite the usual process. If you're collecting pc points, I find it's better to get your card scanned at the store. Somehow my points tend not to show up when I do it at the pump. Maybe it's just my card. Location is quite convenient too. Near the willingdon and kingsway junction.

I avoid this one unless I really have to (ie good price, or I'm really low on gas) The guy's name is Malik. For example when I pay by cash, he says, "do you need your change?" Then giggles at me??!! When I say, "yes of course" he replies with, "well you have to say so" and laughs as if it's funny?? When Aeroplan partnered with Journie, I tried to scan both cards. He got annoyed and said, "you can only use one!!". When I said that a different Cheveron let me do it, he got angry and said, "try it again then!" Which I did, but it didn't go through. Then he said, "see!? I told you!" He totally gave me the creeps.

I politely explained the situation and asked for a refund, showing my receipt and my 14km mileage remaining. The clerk decided to shout at me, accuse me of theft and whatnot. I filed a Police report. We still do this for theft, right? Do NOT recommend. Instead, go to a gas station that gives you the gas you paid for, and one with staff that don't accuse you of theft right off the bat, with zero provocation. Well, sometimes when you get consistent good service from the people who work here, it's a little different. The gas stations out in Coquitlam are full-serve, something that a Vancouverite like me takes getting used to. But the energy and enthusiasm of the staff here, regardless of when it is sunny, or rainy, gets my thumbs up. It's nice when the people who work here, actually try to create conversation, and ask how your day is, and carry on the coversation not with a one-liner.
