I don't even want to give this place any "Stars" at all. I drove 20 miles to go shopping at this particular Walmart, I was looking for a tv and I found a 50 inch at a reg. price of $248, she never told me it was on clearance, she only assured me that she would buy the tv if she were me, so I took her advice and drove 20 miles home just for the screen to be cracked/damaged, it was late so I waited to return the tv the next morning and drove 20 more miles just for the Customer service supervisor to be very rude and unprofessional to me, she told me that she will not exchange my tv because it was on clearance, so she called the Asst Manager over and she told me that she will not honor the same price because clearance items are not returnable, I assured her that this was a very big inconvenience on me and my family and all I wanted to do was exchange the tv, she told me that she could take the price from $248.00 down to $200 but she will not honor the clearance price at $186.00. I am also into management and that is not the correct way to handle that situation, on top of the associates being very rude every time I go to that store, I just will never do business with that in particular Walmart anymore because the associates are very unprofessional and not organized, I will never shop there again. read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE. i have tried over 24 times in the last 7 days to get an answer at the pick up area on my order # #6271879-832031 in the Wilmington, DE store. NO ONE answers the phone for either pick up area or Customer service. i only want the bicycle and accessories if it can be assembled. I asked this question on 12/27/2018 and NO ONE ever returned my call. i waited two days and then started to call the store for the status, but there is not enough interested personnel to actually answer the phones and provide service. The staff is really a joke. Called asking about the availability of an item. The woman who had an African accent seemed like she didn't understand wheat I was saying. I didn't mind, just repeated to her slowly and clearly a couple more times. She said she was going to go find out, waited about a minute, and hung up on me. I called back, she answered for a second and hung up. I called back, she answered, I asked her again for the item, she again said she had to go see, waited, and hung up. I tried to call back and she blocked my number. How childish can you possibly be. More often than not, it's like pulling teeth to get employees there to do their job. I went here around 10:30 the other night to buy a cell phone after I couldn't find anything I liked in the Philadelphia store. Despite being late at night, there was still an employee available in the electronics department to answer all of the questions that I had. He also concisely explained what I would need to do to activate my new phone and transfer the number from my old carrier. I hope they are considering getting new electric carts for handicapped people. They must only have a few, and if you are lucky to find one, the battery runs out in the middle of shopping. One cart sits in the vestibule in ill repair. Please, Walmart, help those who need to shop but can not get around without the use of one of these special carts. The customer sevice in this walmart is despicable. Im absolutly appauled by the way i was treated here. I went in to purchase a large product and when i got to the register it rang up incorrect. When asked for a price check the associate refused until i asked for a manager on duty. The manager did a price check and even though there was 2 gondolas full of my product refused to give me the price listed. There was more than enough room for a 2 inch price label to fit on not one but both fixtures. The manager then stated that per walmart policy she was only able to give me 10% off rather than the price listed. Ive never been to a walmart where they dont honor the listed price. Then when asked for a copy of said policy she didnt have one. I searched online as well as spoke to a live representative who was also unable to find this policy. There for i was flat out lied to and utterly embarrased when they wouldnt sell the mattress for the price listed. I filed a report with the BBB as well. First off let me start by saying this is the only Walmart in Wilmington so it's expected to be busy. With that being said, today was beyond busy and an absolute nightmare. Why have so many registers closed? Multiple workers seen on the floor that don't speak English which is another problem all together. On the eve of back to school your store was not prepared. We had to leave because the lines (even self checkout) wrapped around the store. Aisles are cluttered with merchandise and after weekends shelves are a mess!!!! Good luck going into fitting rooms, I always see 5 or 6 carts full of merchandise blocking the area. One employee who doesn't speak English cut me off and my daughter and I are got injured. Good luck at the information desk, always a line there too and employees are very slow. Needs new management! read more

I just had the most horrible experience tonight. I went to pick up a buy online-pickup in store order. I was there almost 2 hours & still didn't get my order. I left because I'm sure I would still be there waiting to get my item. There was one person going to the trailer to retrieve the items. Sometimes she would bring one item back at a time. There was absolutely no organization and definitely no concern for customer service. I'll pay the tax to have it shipped to another Walmart. Oh, and moving the pickup location to the front of the store was a bad move. Way too much congestion. read more

Never again. We're forced to give one star but this store deserves not even that. This was by far the worst consumer interaction we have ever experienced. We placed an order online for pickup in the store. The item was supposed to be available on the 13th. It took us calling multiple times every day until the 17th to track down where our package was located. It was a rarity to get a live person on the phone, but then Getting a hold of the correct department was like pulling teeth. Our calls were passed from person to person simply because no representatives wanted to deal with the call. Out of the 12 people we interacted with, ONLY the representatives at corporate (wal-mart.com) were polite and helpful. The associates from the store were rude and could not be bothered to follow through with returning phone calls. Beyond not being helpful, one employee in particular (Katrina in Money Services from the Wilmington location) went out of her way to be extremely rude with us over the phone. She concluded the interaction by hanging up on us. corporate was eventually able to determine that the package was delivered to the store on the 16th, but we didn't receive notification from the store. After going in to the store and telling them the item was already there, employees begrudgingly looked for the item in the back. It took almost an hour for the package to be retrieved. Package was in disarray and looked as though it'd been dropped several times. have not had a chance to determine quality of materials. Never again will we shop at Wal-Mart. read more

I go to this store all the time and never have any problems and the associates are friendly and I get real good value on the purchases so I'm not sure what these other people ran into BUT I'm here 1 or 2 times a week and I do not see any problems with this store and it is a NICE NEIGHBORHOOD. read more

Its OK because its convenient to get to. I normally go to the store early because they never seem to have enough cashiers during peak hours. Going during peaks hours (after work) can be a nightmare as you could see 2-3 cashiers open with a packed store full of people. read more
