I needed new prescription lenses for my frames and decided to give the Walmart vision center in Toms River a try. I got the Nikon progressive polycarbonate lenses with anti glare coating. The lenses seem good. They are light weight and clear. My issue was the way the lenses were mounted in my frames. I did not buy new frames since my existing frames are very nice. The optometrist mounted the lenses in my frames, but didn't seem to get it right. I noticed a blur at the top especially when driving at night. When I examined the glasses closely, I saw that the tops of the lenses protruded from the frames. I was able to correct the problem by disassembling the frame, removing the lenses, and bending the metal lens holder slightly so the metal covered the lenses. As an added measure I colored all around the edges of the lenses with a black indelible marker, then reassembled the glasses. What a difference! No more blur and halo at night, and I seem to be able to actually see more clearly. read more
