I called them and got a consultation for the following day. Dr Muallem was very professional and suggested the Light Adjustable Lenses, which corrects the near and far sightedness. He said that there was a 99.7% success rate. I had the surgery a couple of weeks later, five days apart. Three weeks later I returned to see Dr Flikkema for the adjustments, a week apart. Finally the sealing took place and now I have 20/20 vision and no glasses needed. I found out later that only the large cities have this procedure. I couldn't be more pleased. Only downside was the 50 miles one way (9 times) trips to GRO. All in all definitely worth it.

I am a squeamish patient, and the doctor here knew just how to handle my issues. I hate getting my eyes dilated, and when she did it, it was no problem at all! So the exam was supposed to be 49 bucks. When I pay, it's now 89. I asked why and she said because you got a contact eye exam. I was so confused and said on the phone you told me 49 and she said yes that's correct but its 89 for a contact exam. No one there told me there was a difference and that it would be almost double. Issue 2--I had to do some pre-exam screening. The girl did the first test, then did the puff of air in the eye test, and then said another test was 15 extra. So I said sure, let's do it (after all, i thought i was spending 49). Then when I get into the office with the doctor, she says I have great vision. I said well if i wasn't wearing my contacts I couldn't have seen anything. Then she says "you wore your contacts during the tests" and i said "yes" and she said "the girl didn't ask you to take them out?" and I said "nope" and she asked "did she do the puff of air in the eye test with your contacts in" and I said "yes". So we had to do them all again. Issue 3--glasses are signed at 2 pair for 89 bucks. When i chose two pair ( and before I was told that I got bait and switched with the eye exam) the lady totaled them up and said it's 159 each. I was floored. She said there are add on and it's because of my prescription. I passed on the glasses. I don't know what kind of scam is going on there, but I won't be spending any more money there and I recommend you don't either.

I'm a previous customer of U-Line and Victory Packaging, and being new to the Grand Rapids area, I was looking for someone local and that could handle smaller orders. Seal-Tec is great because they're a smaller business that will cater to smaller businesses like myself, but have the capacity to also cater to very large businesses, too. They've got a lot of different boxes and packing/sealing materials in stock, but can also special order anything without a problem. They're very competitive on the pricing. The best part is just dealing with very honest and pleasant people. Working with some of the larger packaging supply dealers/vendors became tiresome with their will-call fees and price hikes. Seal-Tec doesn't charge any fees to pick up your orders. They're just good people to deal with. I highly recommend them for your boxes and packing material needs. They've got you covered.
