Scale is only $9.97 so I bought another one for a friend

Looking for gift ideas today with Christmas just a month+ away. Walmart Supercentre won't be left behind and has geared up to sell, sell, sell! Good thing I'm only here today to browse, browse, browse!

Printed face masks

This must be the busiest Walmart in the area! I feel like they could put a second Walmart as another anchor tenant inside of STC and it would do just fine. There is a grocery section here on the first floor as you walk in from the ground level parking structure, which by the way, I do not try to recommend parking in. It gets super congested with a ton of pedestrian traffic and is hard to turn out of. The health and beauty section is also on this first floor. They actually have a ton of Korean face masks for pretty cheap! Lots of different flavours and brands to chose from as well. The cleaning supplies are located at ground level and they are in stock for all kinds of disinfectants from wipes to sprays. There are movators in the center of the Walmart that can get you and your cart up and down easily. The toys and electronics are on the top floor. Towards the mall entrance there is a self check-out where you can cash out. There are employees on hand to help you with troubleshooting.

Located inside Scarborough Town Centre. I appreciate the convenience of this Walmart. It's right across the street from my moms Toronto apt. I love that I'm able to walk to this location and grab whatever I may need for the kitchen or bathroom. I always find different candies here that I don't necessarily find in the US. Perfect gifts to take back home for family and friends. Cashiers are friendly and quick enough. I usually don't have very high expectations when shopping at Walmart. This place serves the masses. It's definitely not quality service. Just so glad I can find what I need without breaking the bank.

With access by car and by transit, this location is busy. With so much business ongoing at such a high profile location, one would think that the store would be well run to keep up an appearance. No, not at all. To the contrary, this store seems severely understaffed. We shopped on a Sunday. There was no one at the cashier of the Health and Beauty section. Worse, there were messes everywhere. Stocks were not properly placed. Garbage and boxes scattered on floor. I didn't see any staff around to tidy up the messes. What a poorly run, under managed, under staffed location.

Not a bag of milk in sight at 8:30pm. Beyond ridiculous, totally unacceptable.

8:30 in the evening tonight, not even one bag of milk on the shelf. I counted over 10 people circling around the section waiting for the stock crew to bring some out. It gets worse, anyone coming in for a hot rotisserie chicken will be out of luck as the shelf in the deli was also empty. The ovens were cycling in self cleaning mode, last time I checked the store closed at 11pm. Unacceptable! No rotisserie chickens and no milk, either it's Y2K or this store should be shut down.

They have a huge selection of interior decor like fake flowers and home goods. Cons: it's literally so busy, the store is messy and stuff is all over the place. The aisle is a bit narrow it's so crowded it was so hard to move. They did set a limit for how many ppl can go in later on. There's also A LOT OF LITTER! I saw so many Tim Hortons and beverage cups in random spots. Kids were also running havoc. The electronics are sparse. Not sure about the quality. There's a lot of furnitures too like bed frames! I saw some trolley for $15 which is a good deal! Service is nonexistent, there is someone watching and directing the cashier lines (don't worry bout someone budding you)

The store has taken over the entire space Rona used to be, making it incredibly large. With slight exaggeration, you could get 10k steps in just looking around. There are a wide variety of goods being offered, and the prices are often even cheaper than Dollarama (though some stuff is kinda overpriced in comparison, like $30 kitchen shelves?) so I guess they win some lose some. I found some really good deals for plates, kitchenware, hair accessories, stationary, and foam rollers. Since the place is so big, it's hard to find a worker, and even if you find someone, they likely will not know the answer. It's okay though... explore away!

Also the washrooms in this mall haven't been renovated & are usually dirty. One plus for this mall is the new Marry Me Mochi donut place near Moxie's. Also this Moxie's has a great cook. The food here has always been good when I eat at this location. I have been to other Moxie's and they are not good. A con for this mall is the transit is now outside the mall on one of the side roads. When the LRT used to be open there was a bus bay there the buses used to stop. So for transit users this mall isn't as convenient as it used to be. This mall is best for those who have a car.

There's an Ikea city store and Urban Behavior clearance store with all items $10 or less. This new information kiosk is kind of cool. Its setup like a smartphone with widgets. If you are looking to do some Xmas shopping this holiday season then definitely come here. The food offerings here are excellent as well. They got a huge food court with lots of delicous food offerings across the globe. You want more of a dine in experience? Visit Moxies, Jack Astors, Scaddabush, Milestones, Hibachi, etc. The washrooms here need more TLC. The cleaning staff need to clean more frequently to make it a more pleasant shopping experience.

Since then, this bubble tea franchise has shut down in the GTA. Chung Chun Rice Dog has taken over this spot. This change explains Skycity in a nutshell. There is a high concentration of bubble tea shops at Skycity. Competition is fierce. I was recently here, thinking that I should get some bubble tea. I actually couldn't decide because the selection was insane and proceeded with my errands instead... haha! I tend to visit Chatime the most here to get my bubble tea fix. Apart from an oversaturation of bubble tea stores, this place has a ton of food. I feel like it'll take me years to eat my way through this place. I recently visited Chung Chun and had an excellent experience. I love their Korean rice dogs and I'm thrilled that this location is a lot closer to me than heading over to North York to satisfy my cravings. My local Cheese Garden is here. I like that I can order online and drop by to pick up my goods. There are benches scattered around the plaza in case you are in a food coma after stuffing yourself to rest or take a nap. There is plenty of parking, although it does getting busy at night. Many eateries and bubble tea places open till 11:30 pm or midnight. There are other businesses, such as electronic stores, nail salons, and more. I have yet to make a dent in these categories here. The catch is that when you exit onto Midland, you can only turn right. Although it's convenient for me to turn left and head home, I don't mind cycling around the block to get home. It's safer considering how weird drivers can be around this area. One of these days, I will visit every bubble tea place here. The problem is that I have my usual places in Markham that it's tough to break decent habits. (342)

Recently restaurants are allowed to serve food on an outdoor patio but not all restaurants made a patio. There is no general WiFi for the mall.

They kept the controllers behind a glass case. They had about 7 controllers and to my surprise, the controllers were kept in clear plastic bags! No original Sony packaging! I asked "I thought these were brand new?" The guy there says "these are what we call open-box items. The controllers were just removed from the PS4 system. But they have never been used." That was a total lie because I inspected all the controllers (2 silver, 1 blue, 4 black) and they all had scratches on them. Several of them even had the serial number sticker on the back removed or scratched off. I questioned him about that, and he said "well we've sold many of these and never had a problem". There was a second hand store across from them that I went to and they advised me that this Canadian Outlet Store was notorious for selling refurbished items. Don't trust this place! Tip: Get your TJX Style+ card or barcode scanned at the store to enter contests and more…read more The last time I visited this Winners was with my best friend over a decade ago, well before I knew that Yelp was a thing. This Winners was a shoe store (I'm thinking it was Globo) when this plaza first opened. I remember not enjoying my experience at this shoe store because there weren't any women's size 11 footwear to delight me. I am grateful for this Winners. I came here after work on a Thursday. I found a parking spot fairly close to the store and backed into it. I then walked in. I hit the jewellery section first. This store has a lot of fun pins. I loved the lobster and crab ones. The problem? I don't wear pins often. If I did, I would have bought them. This store had some great finds. I got a pair of tweezers with strawberries on them for $5. They work well! I liked the drinkware section. From glass tumblers to martini glasses, it has everything for everyone. The shoe section was fabulous. The women's size 11 section was amazing. I ended up getting a lightweight pair of Converse high-top sneakers with floral embroidery. They felt so good when I tried them on. I will say that putting away items needs help here. I had to move a stack of clothing on a bench so that I could sit down and try on the sneakers. I put them on the floor. Once I was done trying them on, I scooped up the pile of clothing and placed them bak on the bench. I was in the footwear section. Clothing shouldn't be there. The washrooms are at the back of the store. I didn't need to use the washroom, but it was good knowing its location. I also got a bag of Pur gum in grape. I like that this gum is sugar-free. I forget that the flavour dies fast. There wasn't a massive lineup at the checkout. I got a friendly man who scanned my Style+ card, followed by my items. I tapped my credit card to pay for my items. Done! He wished me a happy day. I reciprocated and left with my goods. I'm glad that I got to revisit this store. It's decent. I'd return again when I'm in the area. (195)
