This is one of the Walmarts that is big with two floors. Conveniently located inside the mall which you can get to by public transit. Definitely a very busy location. The one thing I don't like about it is their washrooms are always so dirty. I came here to check if they had any clothes on clearance but couldn't find any. The clothing section was pretty organized. I can never justify buying clothes at regular price from Walmart though, the quality is not as good compared to other kid's clothing stores like Carters and Gap. read more

This must be the busiest Walmart in the area! I feel like they could put a second Walmart as another anchor tenant inside of STC and it would do just fine. There is a grocery section here on the first floor as you walk in from the ground level parking structure, which by the way, I do not try to recommend parking in. It gets super congested with a ton of pedestrian traffic and is hard to turn out of. The health and beauty section is also on this first floor. They actually have a ton of Korean face masks for pretty cheap! Lots of different flavours and brands to chose from as well. The cleaning supplies are located at ground level and they are in stock for all kinds of disinfectants from wipes to sprays. There are movators in the center of the Walmart that can get you and your cart up and down easily. The toys and electronics are on the top floor. Towards the mall entrance there is a self check-out where you can cash out. There are employees on hand to help you with troubleshooting. read more

Thursday, July 13, 2023. I scanned a bag of cherries and it was $6 plus for 1 kg., I was aware that it should have been $1.64 per lb (as per flyer) or about $3 plus change. I asked for the Scanning Code of Practice (SCOP) to be applied, the cashier, Blanca, said that it does not apply. SCOP applies due to scanner errors with posted price. Either a customer gets 1 scanned product free or a $10 discount from the correct price. I asked for the manager and the manager, Francesca arrived and said that the SCOP applies but I am entitled to 1 cherry piece not 1 bag. Again, I did not scan 1 cherry piece, I scanned a bag of cherries (value $3.38). Furthermore, 1 piece of cherry does not have a UPC code but a bag of cherries does. I pointed out the SCOP written on the Scanner but to no avail. Complained to HO and so far, nothing. Is Walmart ok with having dishonest managers at the store level? Character is important for a Store manager. If the manager is so dishonest with customers, I wonder how dishonest she is with Walmart's inventory? read more

Located inside Scarborough Town Centre. I appreciate the convenience of this Walmart. It's right across the street from my moms Toronto apt. I love that I'm able to walk to this location and grab whatever I may need for the kitchen or bathroom. I always find different candies here that I don't necessarily find in the US. Perfect gifts to take back home for family and friends. Cashiers are friendly and quick enough. I usually don't have very high expectations when shopping at Walmart. This place serves the masses. It's definitely not quality service. Just so glad I can find what I need without breaking the bank. read more

So much for customer service, because their website said the item I needed was in stock in a variety of stores but it actually aren't; so I went to lots of different Walmart and even ordered grocery pick up for them, they only tell you 20mins before your pick up time slot and said they aren't available. The absolute worst place to shop. Garbage quality at not the best prices. You get better value, quality and prices at Giant Tiger, Costco, Winners, No Frills, etc. I haven't shopped there in years because of their horrible customer service, quality and prices. I decided to give them another try and will never again shop there. No one answers the phone, their employees don't have a clue on what they have in store and it's not their fault. I come here mostly out of convenience. The inventory and stock seems good as I've often found what I needed (except for eggs/milk/yogurt/ice cream). They have electronics, photo center, groceries, good size seasonal section and everything else you expect to find at a Walmart. Where I deduct stars is for the service. It's hard to find workers and when you do, it doesn't seem like they are very knowledgeable and not usually friendly. The photo center really sucks at organizing and servicing customers as well.. I would rather pay more and get my photos printed elsewhere (took nearly an hour to pick up my online photos because the worker couldn't find my order and tried to print it all again while I was standing there. After waiting all that time, another worker found my photos in 5 min). I would caution against picking up glass bottles/jars at this location! On 3 separate occasions throughout the past year I have been cut by glass residue left behind on shelved jars. A jar must have broke in their stocks and the workers never cleaned up the remaining whole jars from the broken residue. They might have removed the large, noticeable pieces but they should have washed off the jars of glass shards and spilled jar content as well! This is the only store and location that I have experienced being cut while grocery shopping.... read more

Though this WalMart is located inside Scarborough Town Centre, I found it is either convenient or good place to shop. I would go to other WalMarts in the area, then coming down here... Since it has a 2 floors set up which is quite different than other WalMarts, I could not find a lot of merchandise as I am not sure if it is on the 1st floor or the 2nd floor?! For me health and beauty products should be close together... but you will find body lotion is downstairs and face cream is upstairs?? Another thing is there never enough cashiers!! The cash out area for exit to the parking lot on the 2nd floor usually has only ONE cash opens!! There are a couple of WalMart in the area, but this one seems to be the most convenient if you taking the Scarborough LRT... but if you drives, go somewhere else!! read more

With access by car and by transit, this location is busy. With so much business ongoing at such a high profile location, one would think that the store would be well run to keep up an appearance. No, not at all. To the contrary, this store seems severely understaffed. We shopped on a Sunday. There was no one at the cashier of the Health and Beauty section. Worse, there were messes everywhere. Stocks were not properly placed. Garbage and boxes scattered on floor. I didn't see any staff around to tidy up the messes. What a poorly run, under managed, under staffed location. read more

This Walmart is located inside the Town Centre and is connected to the TTC via RT station. I ended up here as I had to run chore in this area. It was the weekend so this place was slammed. A somewhat smaller store compared to the Walmart I have seen in Toronto. They also sell groceries so that a plus. The layout is a bit odd though and with some construction going on inside the store it gets confusing even more. I failed to understand the flow of items here and it didn't seem efficient. I checked out the BBQ which looked nice but somehow the BBQ tools were located somewhere else. Staff is somehow always busy walking away from you. I don't expect much service but instead of running away from the customer if they answer the questions it can help improve the experience here. Prices are OK but if one makes an effort one can do much better. read more

8:30 in the evening tonight, not even one bag of milk on the shelf. I counted over 10 people circling around the section waiting for the stock crew to bring some out. It gets worse, anyone coming in for a hot rotisserie chicken will be out of luck as the shelf in the deli was also empty. The ovens were cycling in self cleaning mode, last time I checked the store closed at 11pm. Unacceptable! No rotisserie chickens and no milk, either it's Y2K or this store should be shut down. read more

I honestly feel like I live in Walmart sometimes. I'm at this location probably once a week and if I happen to miss a week--which, trust me is quite rare, lol--I feel like something in my life isn't fulfilled, haha. But anyways, this location is a super centre so it's huge! It's got everything from the photo centre, a large selection of groceries, mobile kiosk, and more. I love how they're open late, till 11pm I believe. I've personally never had a problem but for those complaining about the service, well, it's Walmart people! It's not like you go there expecting to receive the "Starbucks experience." By far my favourite location and is the one I visit most often. TIP: Do make sure to go in the express lines, which, yes, are usually the longest, but go by the fastest. read more

This is a review for my visit to the store on Dec. 27th/13. Sadly, this was my first poor experience in a Walmart store and it bordered on an abusive experience. I needed to purchase a universal remote and wasn't sure which remotes worked for the tv it was to be used on. So, I needed help from an associate to explain the (a) return policies and (b) universal remotes because I didn't want to make the purchase, open up the product just to find that it didn't work, and have problems trying to return an opened electronic device. In the electronics section an associate passed me, and I tried to get his help. He kept walking past but raised a hand up to his ear, shook it, said that he was busy with another customer and would be back. So, I waited and looked at other products. About 10-15 minutes later I saw him helping a new customer, and thought he had moved onto helping others. When he passed me again, I once more tried to get his attention and he responded in the same fashion. I called out to him saying, 'No. I've been waiting for you for 10 minutes and have been watching you help different customers." He denied it, pointed to an associate behind me, and told me to get help from the other employee (other employee was already with a customer). I asked for his first name so I could discuss his actions with the store manager, to which he refused (& wasn't wearing a name tag), and became belligerent about me speaking to a manager about his actions/behaviour. After less than a minute of this exchange between us, I told him I had enough of all of it and began to walk away. He then followed me, gestured to his face and began to tell me, over and over again, that I had something under my eye in the place he was indicating on his face. I told him again that I had enough, asked him to leave me alone and to stop talking to me. I sought out a shift manager, described the events to her, and informed her that I'd be escalating my complaint to regional management. This place gave really, really bad customer service. When employees are belligerent and belittle customers it's a pretty good indication that there some serious and deep problems within the business. read more

My friend said it would be convenient that this particular Wal-Mart was in the mall (Scarborough Town) and we wouldn't have to be outside in the cold. This store was depressing. The shelves looked like they didn't bother to stock them or place anything in the right order. It took my friend 20 minutes to find her fav shampoo in the baby's needs aisle. I asked a CSR if they sell heated blankets. She said, "no, this is all we have" and pointed at a stack of....heated blankets. I asked her why she said no and she replied that she thought I had said "green blankets". I looked back at the pile she had originally pointed to and there were green blankets in the pile. I said to her that that made no sense since there were green blankets and she replied, "yes". I gave up as I realized she didn't understand me at all. Besides the price of the blanket and the ridiculously long lines at the cash (one cashier open when closing?!), we both ended up putting down our purchases and going elsewhere. Next time, I would rather drive lost from downtown to Brampton, accidentally take the 427 north into Mississauga, U-turn, take the 427 south to the 401 and then eventually end up on the 410 north to Brampton then EVER go back to that Wal-Mart again. Last time I went there it was messy and a lot of things scattered on the floor. Some thing good is that the Walmart is large and I'm for sure you'll find what you need, but not expensive jewelry or fashion. Service: I asked one of the ladies where the toy sections was, all she did was point and say "over there". I was so confused, they don't really make things that clear. I actually had to go all the way back to ask them again where the toy sections was. Neatness: This specific Walmart is located in Scarborough Town Centre, last time I went to the toy section, I looked at plushes and toys. The ClubPenguin plushes had like their clothes ripped off. At this location you always feel like staff is watching your every move. The washrooms are always disgusting and there is always stuff everywhere. Though when you need help it's like suddenly no one is there. It's located at the mall. But closes off from the mall and remains open until 11pm. read more

Worst service ever for online shopping. Bought online a drawer chest for $100. They are supposed to delivery at home, I told them to come on the weekend or weekdays after 6pm since I'm working during the day (the delivery service works till 8.30pm). They came in the morning and I had to go to pick up the stuff to their storage so far away, I rented a truck which increased the prices for the product I bought. Once at home, I opened the box and that drawer was broken, i immediately called them to return that and they told me they will come to pick it up and once they have it in their storage they will deposit me back the money. Again, I told them to come at my avalaible time, they showed up in the morning, again I called them, they apologized and they said they will come in the evening, what happened? Again in the morning and like this several times, like 7-8 times I have called them to explain the situation and they don't solve anything. One month with the damaged drawer and still with no any money back because they don't come at the times suggested. I do not know if they have that bad service or they just don't wanna come to take the stuff so they don't credit the money until I don't go there. Especially when they have some promotion or when it was the beginning of the school year, there were lots of people and it was a traffical disaster it was messy all around the floor even if Wal-Mart has 2 floors I expect that I am going to find most of the things that I need to buy between I always come back to the smaller Wal-Mart near my home to buy the other stuff I didn't find in that Wal-Mart even on the food section there is lots of things that are missing on the shelves and in the fridges too bad it is big store and a good parking and a good place and that I always have to find some other Wal-Marts to find the other things that I didint find in that Wal-Mart well that is too bad. :(:(:( read more

The clothes at WalMart are so cheap and disposable. Their goods are so US-centric that it's hard to believe we're in Canada. Their crafts have red-white-blue theme always, their book specials are US, and their groceries are brought up past the border too! I think their buyers are out of touch now with style and selection. And now their service is horrid on top of all that. And because of the increase in minimum wage in Ontario, they try to shove us into the self serve machines. I'm not terribly fond of this place. It just seems too "all over the place" when compared to other Walmart locations in the area. And the variety of products isn't great either; sporting goods selection is terrible.
